Bargaining with the Fae Empty Bargaining with the Fae

The doctor stands in the warehouse... a thick and dusty volume upon a podium next to him. although he had read the ritual three times already he was reading it once more, Just to be certain that the information was fresh in his memory.

He steps forward, knowing that if he read it from the book it would be showing signs of weakness. The slender chain of silver with a snowflake of diamond and sapphire is placed in a simple bowl of cedar wood as a humble offering to Illya...

"Mab," he chants quietly, thinking about what he wanted... "Mab" he calls a second time...

His heartbeat increases and blood rushing in his ears... his satchel dangling off of the podium where the closed book lie...

The air turns cold, wind from nowhere picks up, whistling through the darkness all around the doctor.

"Mab!" he shouts, finishing the ritual of calling the royal fae known as Illya, The Mab. Queen of Air and Darkness. Ice and Cruelty.

He bows at the waist, eyes upon the floor. Waiting for the Fae queen to grace him with her presence...
