Hahaha, I wont be an ass. But yeah, if you guys hadnt guessed (or googled) I was referring to a spellthief. And I talked with my DM and he made me nerf it a little. I had to drop the dual-wielding feat becuase I'm bound to the same casting laws as Sorcerers apparently. So I cant have a weapon in my off-hand and still cast. I argued that my Sleight of Hand was high enough (4 dex bonus, 5 ranks, +2 synergy bonus from bluff, and a +2 bonus from being a small-sized weapon) that I could hide the weapon before casting... but he wouldn't go for it. So I am not as rigged anymore. Fucking Nerf-hammer.

But yeah, nothing like being a rogue who can also steal the very spells of casters (or spell-like abilities... or spell effects... or their very RESISTANCE to spells) along with being a standard thief. Did I mention that I can also cast said spells, and that I have at least 6 spells that I can cast WITHOUT stealing? Or that I can absorb spells that target me instead of taking damage from them? That's right, I can git hit with a magic missile, avoid taking damage, then cast that missile back at it's owner for free. I seriously love this character. It's a thief... with perks.

I DnD handbooked the answer. I read about them and they seem just insane, my guy is a pretty standard Necro, other than being lawful neutral. His shining moment is that he can detach his hand and move it, still able to cast spells through it.

...that's not a sorcerer casting req though.... I mean, they have a sorcerer dual wielding prestige class. There is a spell that can ONLY be cast if the caster has a dagger in each hand. That's very much not a requirement for sorcerer's to cast.

But see, my main thing was: So you steal my Faeries spells, big deal. Now, when you steal his SR, and cast an always hit spell (Like Magic Missile), it's typically an instant kill. I cant be touched in melee because of my 20 dex and bonuses for being small, and if I face a caster I can just resist his spells for the most part. My main worry was poison gas and spider webs and shit. But, damn, you can take SR. That's crazy, you scary fucking gnome.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, my faeries weapon is a Keen Fae Greatsword.
A Keen Rapier (16-20 x2 Crit) built for a character one size bigger than me, so I hold it in both hands. Now, it's a finesse weapon so I cant 1.5 my StR bonus for it (which is a good thing, I have 4 StR) but yay. Lil Fae Greatsword.
KEIL, PLEASE say you got that feat I told you about. The one that if you critical your finesse die is multiplied too. Cause it is SEXY.

What if, as you were trying to say the verbal components and make the gestures for the spell, a little faerie that you just couldn't bat away starting buzzing at your hands and face and shouted random numbers and a really really catchy song that you just had to sing? How could you ever magic?

You're thinking of the Daggerspell Mage, a prestige class for Arcane Sorcerers that allows for casting while dual-wielding daggers. The main feat for them is "Daggercast," which is the only way around the dual-handing thing. It specifically states that you could cast spells without having a free hand (even spells with somatic or material components) as long as the weapons you wield are both daggers. I was actually thinking about picking that class up, but I didnt want the 20% xp loss just for the ability to cast while dual-wielding. On top of that, I wouldn't have 8 levels in Spellthief, so I wouldnt even HAVE the +6/+1 attack bonus that allows me to attack so many times. I may try for it at level 9, I'm not sure.

DO IT! Then tell all the spellcasters in your cult (lol) that casting spells is forbidden by your followers, and that the only way to redeem themselves in your eyes is by allowing me to steal their spells at any time I so choose. My Steal-spell ability can't be will-saved out of if the target is willing...
