Despite his more casual laid back look, Ben is normally rather dapper with his appearance. He likes to wear a nice suit and tie on most all occasions.

THE LEGACY

Personality:

A truly kind heart Benjamin has. Which is unlike most Irish, given the exception of a few. His high ranking in life doesn't thwart his ability to give to others and to treat them with kindness. Though he may work with or run into a bunch of gluttonous, foolish, selfish traitors he always attempts to extend a hand when needed. It is often that people come to Benjamin when they are looking for someone that is willing to listen or something that will provide a hand. He rarely will turn down a situation to help another person, especially if it is important to the other individual.

His kindness doesn't stop with just those that ask, he is often found to help strangers and bystanders that seem to run into misfortune or are at a hard time. He's the type of person that will give money a homeless man rather than eat dinner himself. He puts others before himself, which can be a bit of a flaw, but in the end he'd prefer it to be that way as he wished the world was more like he was.

It is not that Benjamin feels obligated to be kind to others or that he owes them anything. He simply treats people the way he wishes to be treated, despite how they treat him.. His past life experiences are what brought him to be this way. As an teenager he had an uncontrollable rage and hunger and did many of things he was not proud of, but once he left the state of mind he vowed to never go to that level again.

For a college professor, you'd be quite surprised at how fashionable he is. His wardrobe is considerably up-to-date. The way he carries himself in general just emits a feel of awe to women as he passes by, wearing a soft but strong fragrance at all times. His head is always up, and it seems as though he is never in a bad mood. Though he has had some bad days, of course. He attempts to keep his past in the past and let the future come to him as a surprise not planning anything living life in the moment.

Honesty is the best policy is it not? Well, Benjamin believes so. He believes that what ever comes out of a man's mouth should be true, with the exception of jokes. He bases a persons resolve based on what they say and the way they say it and whether or not it is true or not. Benjamin never bluffs about his capabilities and is always straight forward with his opponents.

Mr. Sullivan isn't always such a professional being. When he is around Yugiri he is extremely playful and always trying to make her smile. However, he is well known for pulling pranks on her, though she never returns the favor which is Benjamin doesn't understand. Though honesty may be his policy he does take his own little escapes from his own personality in order to keep sanity in the dullness that is Earth.

Benjamin is very well aware of his abilities and what he is able to accomplish making him very confident in all of his efforts. There has seldom been a time where he has accepted a task and said "I'm not sure if I can do this." Even if he seems a little bit unsure about the given operation he will still take confidence in himself and those supporting and helping him. Since he is confident in his abilities, he doesn't meddle in the fields of childish bluffs while fighting. Small repartee is common to come out of his mouth if the opponent won't shut up about their power, but he will typically skip the bullshit and just go straight into the fight.

Some may say that he is the tip of the spear of that of determination as he has grown into his abilities so swiftly. Hard-working is an understatement when it comes to the drive of this young man. He is truly resolute to his duties and the operations that are before him. He makes sure that he is a pivotal member of society, his job at the university, and in the lives of those that matter most to him.

History:

Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland Benjamin knew a simple life. His parents led jobs and he went to school, nothing out of the unusual for a normal human family. He was raised properly, in terms of manners being polite and kind, the whole nine yards. Although, the family had common struggles financially at times, they would end up prosperous within the upper half of middle class due to their positive attitude and inability to give into the hard times.

Benjamin would attend High School using an abroad program where he would swap homes with another student that lived in America. The two would agree to this for the duration of their time within school until they were adults. He never really got to meet the kid, but he was glad that he was able to branch out and go into the States. It was there that he would stay and attend University.

While at the University, during his fourth year he and his classmates alike would experience a lab fire due to chemicals being mixed improperly. It would all be thanks to Benjamin's lab partner. When this happened, the first initial explosion of the chemicals knocked himself and his partner to the ground. The two were encased by the fire near immediately, though for some reason or another it didn't burn. It soothed them, in all honesty. The two were granted with this divine power of healing through the use of fire, it was strange really. Nonetheless, Benjamin would look further into it on his free time.

When he started to attend grad school he had decided to take a trip to Japan during the summer. He wished to travel and exploit his new found abilities now that he had known what their full potential was. He was able to rid people of diseases that ailed them and heal scars that mortified others. Japan being a place with a high rate of cleft lip he went there to tend to children. However, there was one child that was far worse than just a simple case of cleft lip. Her entire body was abused and humiliated by that of fire, the very thing that he would use to try to heal her. Though when he did, her body would reject the healing. He vowed to the girl that he would do everything in his power to one day restore her beauty. Though she knew her real beauty laid inside of her.

In the end, Benjamin adopted the girl, and the two led their lives. Benjamin taught and Yugiri just seemed to follow him around everywhere. As their relationship toward one another grew Yugiri's love for her father grew. Though they treated one another as friends and not father and daughter. It was only but a few months Yugiri started to display her unnatural talent to have extreme precision. Benjamin noticed rather quickly and began taking her to shoot, teaching her the ins and outs of weapons that they would purchase. It was through this that they began to bond even more. Yugiri felt a purpose and it was all thanks to Benjamin.

A year ago, the two got caught up in some trouble with all the events that were happening in the world. They would find themselves in harm's way a lot and would have to call upon the abilities of one another. Yugiri would use her insane accuracy to snipe and blast her opponents away while Benjamin would ensure her health was topped off at all times. The two would fight well with one another until at one point Benjamin would have to throw himself in the line of fire in order to save Yugiri. When he did this Yugiri's ability to bind and accelerate abilities encrypted into the DNA of others would sync with Benjamin. Thus, the Sword of Damocles would be summoned and he would be able to fend off those that were in his way. Though at first use it would result in a massive explosion of raw energy and would result in leveling a small town and killing all that resided in it innocent or not.

After the battle, the two realized the severity of the ability and how important it was to learn how to control it. Thus the two would use the same battleground in order to learn and control his abilities and their limits within their bond. They would come to find that they could observe one another's feelings no matter the distance and communicate with one another with the means of technology.

Today, Benjamin teaches at a University in Florida. Though his teaching is often put to the side due to world's needs from other meta humans.

POWERS AND

WEAKNESSES

Fire Healing: Benjamin's first ability. While it does not get as much use as it once did before he met Yugiri it is still used to assist him and his allies and in rare cases even his foes. There is nothing more that he can do with the fire that he creates than heal someone with it.

Mental Connection: Benjamin is followed by an orphaned child with extraordinary powers. Through the Sword of Damocles and the girl's own powers the two are in tap with one another's location and powers. While they are rarely away from one another, when they are they are able to communicate and can sense distress and things of that nature from one another.

Sword of Damocles(Aura Manipulation):

A large sword that glows red and floats high into the sky visible for all to see. The sword is give or take 200 yards in length and sheds large pieces of metal during it's time up, these large pieces of metal are tangible and will lead to damage taken if they aren't avoided. These shards do not drop very often if ever, large amounts of power consumed from the sword's source is what causes it to crumble. It takes a good bit of effort for Sullivan to cause this to happen.

The Sword of Damocles is the source to Sullivan's offensive powers. With the Sword of Damocles present Benjamin O'Sullivan has the ability to use and manipulate his Aura(Red). This can be used as an offensive ability and a defensive ability. With the power of aura manipulation he is able to adjust the entity to gain an above human amount of strength, being able to lift the front end of a car with some strain. In addition to this, his reaction time and agility are also improved.

Weaknesses

Grass Allergies: When his skin is exposed to grass or grass has been freshly cut in the area Benjamin is likely to break out into hives, or have a series of sneeze attacks.

Addiction: Benjamin is and has been addicted to cigarettes for well over 10 years now. Thus, he considers them to be a necessity in his day to day life and while doing activities. He takes breaks from projects often in order to quench his addiction and finds it hard to keep focused if he doesn't smoke at least once every 30 minutes to a hour.

Mundane Human: While he gains additional stats from his powers, he still is subject to physical, mental, and otherwise earthly ailment and pain. He is by no means a god-like entity or made of steel thus he takes damage as any other would or as a highly fit human would.

Protection: Benjamin is likely to put himself in harms way if means he saves Yugiri. That is the only person that he would likely put himself in danger for, as without her he is useless. Her life means the world to him and it would highly effect his mental capabilities and emotions if something were to happen to her.

Attachment: Benjamin's powers are given to him through the acceleration ability provided by Yugiri. Thus, without her presence and her abilities he is unable to use the Sword of Damocles.

Sword of Damocles: Overtime, as the Sword of Damocles is used in combat it grows brittle. While the sword itself cannot be attacked by another being, it will eventually be uncontrollable to Benjamin and will lead to his demise causing unworldly catastrophic damage. Enough to level an entire city. The only way to prevent this is for him to be killed before the sword crashes. In order for Benjamin to recover the damage done to his Sword of Damocles he must not summon it for an extremely long period of time.

When the sword of Damocles is present Benjamin's foot steps leave a trace of his aura.

Personality:

At first sight some would find Yugiri to be a sweet teenage girl, innocent and naive. Though those that believe this soon come to find themselves completely wrong once they interact with her. Her heart is made of ice, her words typically tending to leave a sting or scar on those that speak to her. While at times she can be playful, it typically takes a good bit of kissing up in order to get her to this point. Her face remains as a stale and blank stare at almost all times, her gaze feels as though creeps inside and torments you. She has complete control over her emotions and doesn’t let things like fear distract her from her objective or what she is doing. Some would say she is high willed, others stubborn. The fact remains that she puts full effort toward the things that matter to her and pushes until she can no longer. It’s embedded inside her, she was built this way.

As an orphan she has a lot of resentment held toward her parents that left her for nothing. Though it built her to who she is now, she remains damaged for seeing the things she saw while on the streets and in the orphanage. Forced to bring herself to doing some humiliating things she decided it was always best to stay alone. Today, she fears loneliness now that she knows what true companionship is through Benjamin. She’s grown to be content with her own thoughts, though may seem mad at times due to her personally disturbing experiences. Though being affected by all of these traumatic life experiences she remains resilient toward depression or letting her emotions drive her to do things she does not wish to do.

When talking she speaks in fragments and incomplete sentences, never receiving a proper education while she as young. Though she reads a large amount since she has met Benjamin and is trying to learn proper speech through that and his lessons, so progression is expected. Her ability to understand and interpret those that speak intellectually is very hard and she is slow when it comes to most things that don’t involve instinct, survival, or battle. She’s a rather primitive individual.

Though living in rags most of her life, she enjoys finer things that she witnessed others wear. Such things as gold jewelry and accessories. She adores bright colors and anything other than black. However, other than that she is absolutely not materialistic. Technology is actually something that seems to scare her, rather than intrigue her. Since moving to first world countries she’s found herself afraid when it comes to the many bright lights and displays that seem to move and project an image everywhere. She’s completely unaware as to how computers or the internet work.

Her ability to overcome her fears comes naturally to her, as she exemplifies the term “survival of the fittest”. In order to be the fittest, she must have no fear and reign with bravery and courage. Though things do still get to her at times, such as technology. Which typically results in running away until she feels safe and out of eyes sight. Though, her biggest fear is being alone with no hope of finding anyone else. She has a great of amount of hope for her future and her well-being as she is confident that her skill and ability is far too great now.

When it comes to love, or caring for another being all she has to drive her is gut instinct. She was never raised to love or care for anything as it was taken away almost immediately as she did so. Soon she became nearly void to these feelings, and had nearly forgotten what they even were until she met Benjamin.

History:

Born in the slums of the Chibuya Ward in Japan, Yui knew nothing of a "good" life. Her parents were killed in a fire due to grease catching fire after the stove was left on after dinner one night. The only reason the child lived was because her father took prevented her from being crushed beneath the roof. It wouldn't take long after the fire was put out for the fire department to find the crying baby beneath the body of her deceased father. She'd be placed into critical care for burns and to treat her lungs from the smoke inhalation.

Growing up she was often alienated due to her scars and burn marks. Families wouldn't adopt her from the orphanage she stayed at and she grew lonely. Though she grew to love herself for who she was and could care less about what others thought. It would be 12 years before someone would come and adopt her...

POWERS AND

WEAKNESSES

Supernatural Accuracy: Yugiri has an uncanny ability to hardly ever miss her target when it comes to anything. She is a natural, really. Though most say that it is a meta gene within her, those people would be right. Thus she is able to calibrate and take shots in fractions of a time it would take a normal sniper or marksmen to have their target on their cross hair. Her main weapon or primary that she carries is the PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II, the gun's accuracy combined with that of her own makes it very hard to miss her target. Hecate is classified as anti-materiel due to its incredible power, which gives it the ability to penetrate vehicles and buildings while still carrying on to its target at a lessened speed.

Power Acceleration Binding: Aside from her accuracy Yugiri has come to find that her strongest emotional tie with someone will bring them to develop the powers that are hidden within their genes. Though this can only be done to one person and she must be within a decent proximity of one other, say two miles. In addition to granting the power the two are connected through telekinetic communications and they have the ability to sense one another's presence as well as tell whether or not they are in distress. This ability does nothing more than this and cannot grow in strength, it requires the bound subject to grow in power. This ability is simply the key to that power. Such requires the two to be within two miles of one another.

Night Vision: Yugiri is able to see while at night with her bare-eyes.

Weaknesses

Binding: Yugiri is bound emotionally to Benjamin O'Sullivan. This meaning that her ability to accelerate abilities is only limited to him and connect be passed or transferred until the two are severed by death. Even when separated by death Yugiri's ability is only activated via emotional bonds requiring extremely strong feelings toward that person.

Uneducated: Yugiri has very little knowledge of most things, such has caused to be hard to communicate with and hard to reach out to. She has little understanding of the English language and is perpetually afraid of today's technology within first world countries.

Untrained: All of her talents and abilities are natural. She has no formal training with tactics or war. This is more particularly aimed toward hand-to-hand combat as her intuition takes over her decision-base for ranged attacks.

Mundane Human: Yugiri is vulnerable to mental, physical, and otherwise worldly factors that a normal human would be prone to.

Light Sensitive: Due to her ability to see at night on command her visibility during the day overly bright as a side effect. Imagine a light bulb was in front of you anytime you looked at anything.
