The Spectre: Mark II Empty The Spectre: Mark II

Post by Capt'n Sinnarr July 23rd 2014, 5:43 pm

The Spectre: Mark II Phalan10

Name: Carapace Battle-suit: Mark-II
Appearance: The Carapace Battle-suit: Mark II looks completely different than it's fore-runner, the original Spectre Armor. Made entirely out of  "Spectrium" and enforced nickel phosphorous tubes that are hollow and have walls 1,000 times thinner then human hair in order to keep the suit extra flexible, filled with hordes of Vergil's own Nanites. What sets it apart from the original spectre armor is that it is far more efficient, was made to channel far greater amounts of energy and is fully connected (Nanites sealing and fusing the armor once Vergil puts it on), making it easier to send commands to the Nanites that restore functionality of the suit and remove damage once registered. Having but a single color, the suit is dark grey in appearance, the color of the spectrium alloy. His chest has two spots that are slightly brighter in color, as does the mouth area, two circular spots on the palm of his hands and the six eyes on his head. These spots will start glowing with a red hue once Vergil enters the suit and synchronizes his energy generating abilities with it, serving as outlets for his energy based attacks. Finally, he wears a cloak with a hood made out of a red Kevlar alloy, though this is entirely for show and further intimidation. The suit stands at a height of 1,95m and weighs a total of 40 kilograms, making it surprisingly light.
Abilities: A major leap from the original suit, the entire armor is now controlled by Vergil's brain function (A result of his Cyber Mind/Hub), allowing it to perfectly synchronize it's movement with the man inside of it. His Cyber Mind that works with the Nanites inside of his body and the Battle-suit basically turn them into one whole. With Vergil acting as a living battery that fuels all of it's systems, the suit becomes the entity known as "Spectre". While Vergil only has six eyes, Spectre has a total of six eyes on his forehead, allowing him a wider, larger field of vision, the nanites in Vergil's brain allowing him to process his increased physical prowess. The eyes, palms, mouth and chest-pieces have the ability to cast energy based attacks by releasing a large amount of the power passively generated by Vergil's meta-human ability. Another piece of the armor that proves how technology and mutated abilities make for a deadly combination is the ability of flight produced by the suit being able to expel energy and make it hover, allowing it to fly at fairly high speeds. Finally, the suit was designed to withstand large amounts of force while being completely sealed, creating it's own oxygen, thus allowing the wearer of the suit to go deep into the ocean or even into outer space without the risk of dying, the Nanites adjusting the pressure of the suit to match the environment and make it so it will be as survivable as a day spent in a comfortable bed.
-Summary: Increased vision, Energy Conversion/Power Recharge, Flight, Self-Contained Life-Support System, Environmental Protection, Sensor Array, Voice Scrambling, Solar Converters, Electrical batteries, Heat Conversion Batteries, Beta-Particle Generators, channel lasers/barriers equal to Ability level.
Description: After having spent two years working with his Carapace: Mark I, he found that he had done too much playing around with the armor that already drew too much attention to it due to it's colors and the fact that he had been taunting people to chase him around. Finally, a drunk night in New York city had been the drop that made the bucket spill when he flew around the city and got himself on the news. Taking the armor apart completely, he made his Nanites assimilate and reform the suit into a more logical design that had far less flaws, had a higher level of synchronization with it's wearer and would allow him to make better use of his energy manipulating powers. This resulted in the birth of the Mark II suit, a mechanical body with a far more menacing look than the original. Being better in every single way, the new suit has fully replaced the Mark I.

The Spectre: Mark II Empty Re: The Spectre: Mark II

Post by Capt'n Sinnarr July 23rd 2014, 5:50 pm

The Spectre: Mark II Omnini10

Name: Omninites: Mark I
Appearance: The Omninites have four hook-like appendages that it uses to latch on to things, swim through the bloodstream, crawl over surfaces, dig through solid objects and attach themselves to other technology for hacking. Having a large body when compared to their appendages, it is here that all information and commands are worked out while also housing the replicatory facilities. The spectrium coating makes them immune to EMPs.
Abilities: The Omninites are a personal creation of Vergil using the Steel Industries funds and materials. Made out of the technology that made the original nano-bots used to keep him alive and control his energy generating powers and all other upgraded variations of said nano-bots, the Omninites are incredibly potent, having various means in which they prove just how advanced they are when matched with other nano-bots. Made out of the Spectrium alloy, they have several purposes in different parts of the body. While they are virtually the same nanites, they all have a different purpose to fulfill, so if one of the Omninites of the bloodstream is to get into the heart or vice versa, they will take on a different job. All Omninites also have microscopic foundries inside of them that allow them to clone nearby DNA or alloy in order to recreate what has been destroyed when ordered to do so by the brain. Note that this only works on himself and on the alloy he has personally created. Due to the fact that they are made to regulate extreme levels of energy, they are immune to EMP-like effects.
-Brain: Rooted Omninites save electric signals in his brain and save his personality, memories and thought patterns, acting as an artificial intelligence that is an exact copy of Vergil. These Omninites increase his thought process, increase brain functions and memory recollection, make for perfect photographic memory and allow him to learn new things at a highly accelerated pace. When asleep, the AI will awaken and continue working while Vergil himself sleeps and allows his body to rest, connecting itself to the surrounding systems by using a heavily secured frequency.
-Heart: A large amount of Omninites are rooted and floating in his heart, making sure the heart is protected from the energy generated inside of Vergil's body. Using the heart as a large foundry that will organize the spreading of the nanites through the bloodstream, this is where the Omninites clone themselves, repair broken nanites and store themselves if no more are needed, waiting to be put to use.
-Bloodstream: Floating Omninites pass through the body and store the energy built up by Vergil's powers, using this same energy to power the microscopic foundries inside of the Omninites that allow it to recreate the stuff that makes up his very DNA, this being his Regenerative Healing Factor. In terms of regeneration, these nanites can regenerate an arm or an organ such as the liver in one post. The nanites can remain active for a maximum period of four posts, after which they will need to cool down for an equally long time.
-Battle-Suit: Omninites rooted inside of the battle-suit's Spectrium plates, they use the same energy to power the microscopic foundries to recreate or create spectrium, applying the same Regenerative Healing Factor to the suit itself. This is done by cloning the surrounding spectrium and using the Omninites inside of the brain to accurately recreate destroyed areas. In terms of speed, the Spectrium that can be restored in one post is equal to the an entire limb . The regeneration remains active for a maximum period of four posts before it has to recharge for an equally long period of time. These Omninites are also the ones used to infiltrate, hack and retrieve information over a short distance.
Description: When Vergil was five years old, nano-bots were made to regulate the build-up of energy inside of his body as a result of his Energy manipulating and generating powers, as well as restoring the damage that had been done to his body. Over the years, technology progressed quickly, allowing for more potent versions of Nano-bots to be made. Out of the technology of the past and the present, the Omninites have been created as a self-sufficient piece of robotics that works in unison with his energy generating abilities.

The Spectre: Mark II Empty Re: The Spectre: Mark II

Post by Capt'n Sinnarr July 23rd 2014, 6:57 pm

Name: The Hub
Appearance: -
Abilities: The Hub is a mechanical part of Vergil's brain that has been built by the Omninites and serves as a control center that regulates all of their movement. The nano-bots that had been used to save his life at the age of five have never stopped growing as a result of constant monitoring, updating and upgrading. Located everywhere in his body, the one's that have taken root inside of his brain are the most high-tech of all. Serving as a means of increasing his thinking process, memory recollection and brain receptors, allowing the nano-bots to decrease the amount of pain Vergil will feel when hurt. The first and foremost abilities this grants him is the fact that the nano-bots work in perfect unison with his brain and the other nano-bots that serve various other purposes, allowing his body to regenerate wounds at a highly accelerated pace and turn himself into an actual Artificial Intelligence the moment the body falls asleep to rest, allowing the Nano-bot part of his brain to continue working through highly encrypted frequencies. This AI is similar to Vergil in every way, constantly updating itself as it scans the brain's electrical signals. For all intents and purposes, his "nano-brain" continues working subconsciously while Vergil sleeps. The secure frequency it works at is also what controls the nano-bots that are no longer on his body or in his suit, allowing it to remain in contact and control the actions of other nano-bots. Aside from the obvious benefits of the Hub, it allows his brain to memorize far more than the average human being. As it grows, the amount of information it can process and memorize can become limitless.
Description: The hub was created by the Omninites as a means of memorizing every part of Vergil's mind, personality, thought process and memory so that the Omninites would be able to adjust themselves to him perfectly. Because their main goal is to keep Vergil safe from the Energy Generating powers that nearly killed him as a child, they have focused everything on his well-being. As such, the hub was made and integrated into his brain, yet made in a way that would keep Vergil in control of all of the actions that were to be taken, making himself into the leading mind that controlled the semi-sentient robots inside of his body.

The Spectre: Mark II Empty Re: The Spectre: Mark II

Post by Capt'n Sinnarr July 23rd 2014, 8:16 pm

Parts of the Suit

Name: Solaris Drive
Appearance: N/a
Abilities: By using the Heat generating powers of his body, the Solaris Drive will channel this power through the Omninite-infused spectrium shell, turning the dark grey alloy into a mixture of yellow and white, showing the intensity of the heat. The heat of the exterior is equal to the current level of ABI spent on Heat Energy Manipulation/Generation. While in this mode, any physical contact made with the armor will cause pain beyond imagining. Also, laser attacks no longer need to be fired from either the chest or eye area because the entire suit becomes a conductor for the energy, capable of channeling it through any part of the body. Solaris mode can be activated for three posts max, requiring a recharge time equal to how long it's been in use.
Description: A defensive and offensive use of the Spectrium alloy is that it can conduct massive amounts of heat and not melt. Making use of the nanite infusion as well as Vergil's invulnerability to his own body-heat, the external armor will heat to such levels that it can melt steel on contact.
INT Allocation: INT 7

Name: IR-Matter Transporter
Appearance: N/a
Abilities: Manipulating his heat based abilities, this special piece of equipment that has been grafted into the armor and Omninites allows Vergil to turn himself and his suit into Infra-red light, travelling across the electromagnetic spectrum before re-appearing again. Because this happens faster than the eye can see, it is considered a form of teleportation. Capable of crossing 150 meters in an instant, it is used primarily to leave heated situations. Needs to recharge for one post after being used.
Description: Not being as fast as he had hoped when entering a fight, Vergil spent months trying to figure out a way for him to cross distances without having to increase his physical speed. As such, another use of science and ability was born. Making use of specially made equipment grafted into the armor, the armor allows him to tap into his heat manipulation and turn his own matter into infra-red light. By doing so, he can cross the electromagnetic spectrum so fast that it is in fact teleportation.
INT Allocation: INT 7

Name: Magnetic field emitter (Safeguard: Mark I)
Appearance: Invisible to the naked eye.
Abilities: A simple yet elegant ability of the Battle-suit that allows it to emit a Magnetic or an Anti-Magnetic field in a 2 meter radius around his body. This field can be used to magnetize and stop metallic objects that fly into it's field of effect, allowing him to take control and throw them back at their source. When used against an equally powerful Magnetic field, the two will cancel one another out. The Magnetic field can remain active for one post at a time while needing another post to recharge.
Description: Finding that his metallic battle-suit carried the weakness of being susceptible to magnetism based attacks, a special system was made that allows the suit to create a magnetic field of it's own to fight projectile weapons and toss them back at their masters, or to counterbalance another magnetic field and free himself from such things. This magnetic field uses Vergil's energy generating powers in order to remain functional. It was nicknamed the "Safeguard".
INT Allocation: INT 6

Name: Smart-Missiles (Brainiac: Mark I)
Appearance: Small, dark grey missiles.
Abilities: The Smart-Missile is a missile of 4 centimeters in length and 2 centimeters thick, having four small pockets on it's sides. The tip was made to have a special kinetic energy penetrator that allows it to bury itself into it's target shortly before exploding. Being made out of Spectrium and Omninites, they have a very potent guiding system that allows them to seek out a weak point and dive head-fist into it, delivering optimal damage with a minimal payload. It's charge is made up from Pentaerythritol tetranitrate mixed with the energy coming from Vergil's body, the blast is quite powerful, if not contained to do what it is required to do, destroying the weak points they are aimed at. There is more to these missiles however, for each of the four pockets can release a 1 centimeters large sphere in case they are knocked out of the air before hitting the target, allowing the black spheres to still hit there target. Together, the four spheres have the same explosive power as a single missile. These missiles are fired from the knuckles of the gauntlets, as well as special, hidden launchers in the shoulders. There are a total of 32 missiles stored inside of the armor. A total of 16 can be fired at the same time (Four from both hands, four more from both shoulder launchers).
Description: Based on the Omninite, Hub and Spectre Missile technology, the Smart-Missiles, or Brainiac, are missiles used to counter machinery, robotics and even larger enemies, aiming at weak spots, burying into it and exploding with a concentrated force, focused entirely on the weak spot so it will deliver a powerful blow for a limited payload. Due to the ability to maneuver and control their trajectory while looking for structural weaknesses, they have been called the "Brainiac".

Additional Gear and Gadgets

Name: Vulcan Pistol
Appearance: A hand-gun made out of a Spectrium alloy infused with Omninites.
Abilities: While it may seem like a science fiction weapon that shoots lasers, it actually utilizes Vergil's own energy and turns it into ammunition for this weapon. As such, anyone else wielding this weapon will find that there will be no projectiles coming out of the other end. Fires one round per second.
Description:  The Vulcan Pistol is a hand gun that can easily be concealed and does not show up on metal detectors or other such devices. It was made as a quick access weapon used primarily for self-defense in the work place.
INT Allocation: INT 5

Name: Spectrium Watch
Appearance: A watch with a metallic appearance.
Abilities: Aside from the amazing, mind-blowing ability to tell time, it has a small system made out of Omninites inside of it, allowing Vergil to press a small button in order to call the Spectre Battle-suit to his location when in need.
Description: Made to not lose track of time again and to call the Spectre battle-suit in case he ever got himself in trouble and would not be able to save his own ass without it.
INT Allocation: INT 5

Name: Deploy-mint
Appearance: Looks like a small white breath-mint.
Abilities: A small circular mint that looks like an ordinary piece of candy, but is actually a means of deploying a small legion of Omninites without anyone noticing. Perfect for infiltrating and hacking when visiting another company, they can simply be dropped when receiving a tour of the building, the Omninites doing the rest of the work on their own. The fun part is that the deploy-mint is in fact a piece of candy that can be eaten so as to not raise suspicion. Filled with roughly 50 Omninites.
Description: Made to be a perfect means of infiltration.
INT Allocation: INT 5

With regards to the magnetic field thing, Ability cancellation is not allowed so you will need to rework the functions of the device before it can be approved.

Also, you have 2 cooldowns for it which you will need to decide between, the first one is acceptable but the second ones cooldown time is too short.
