   Personality:
Those who have met Hollowpoint in person describe a reserved, slightly introverted personality with a heavy grimness and fierce independence. Much of Hollowpoint can be summed up  in his self imposed rules. For one thing, he never cheats an employer. If it's within his power, he completes a job. He's never backed out or cheated an employer before. This makes him very reliable, as far as anyone else knows. He is also not without a code of morals, despite being a hired killer. Of all the deaths suspected to be Hollowpoint's work, not one of them was related to children. And among the criminal and corrupt world, there is a heavy rumor of a man who tried to get Hollowpoint to murder his metahuman wife. The assassin almost went through with it, until he discovered the man's motive: his wife was pregnant. This is the only exception tot he previous rule about not turning on employers, because the rumor goes that Hollowpoint not only killed him but that this man's body was the one that was strung up on that radio tower in L.A back in 2008 by his... well you get the picture.

   History:
Ten years ago, there was a shadow across the world. No alien warmongerer or insane sorcerer, but a man. A metahuman, but not the kind most are used to seeing. The Assassin Hollowpoint was once the most infamous killer on planet Earth. One of, if not the most requested hitmen and mercenary on the globe during the time. His kill count? Well, there was no true way to count. Hollowpoint's fame didn't spread from calling cards, it spread by word of mouth. Crime bosses, government officials, sometimes even super villains bragged about their 'ringer'. Eventually, the criminal underworld received a name for their benefactor: Hollowpoint, and likewise police and military forces across the globe started files on this mysterious killer. You'd research him too, if he was dropping your presidents, heroes and government officials like flies.

The truth his origin? He wasn't a demon like most tended to speculate. Not even a supernatural killer. Once an extraordinary PMC, the man who would become Hollowpoint volunteered as the test subject for an independent paramilitary science experiment codenamed 'THANATOS' after several incidents in the field that called his state of mind into question. Named after the greek reaper of souls, the project was built around a simple question, 'can man engineer a killer more perfect than anything created by the gods?'. The answer tot his question is still up for debate, but the project was ultimately a success. Originally planned to inject altered metagenes into a human subject, the bio-engineers working on the project were thrilled to discover that their test subject already had metagenes in his DNA stream. In fact, he had been obliviously tapping into them to enhance his combat experience. Believing he could handle not only a heavier dose of gene, but even withstand a more powerful stim, they injected their test subject with supercharged metagenes, combining their own bio-engineering with strands salvaged from alien technology. The result was Hollowpoint as he stood 20 years ago, the perfect killer. Of course, the officials monitoring THANATOS weren't keen on just letting him leave. Fighting his way out was child's play. He was off to stalk quarries around the world.

Until a job finally went too wrong, as is the case with a lot of legendary killers. Hollowpoint had worked with psychopaths before, but he made the mistake of underestimating the villain known as Deathbringer. The exact details of the job are unclear, and perhaps unimportant by now. What is known is that the villain mentioned to some confidants that he would be hiring the assassin known as Hollowpoint for a special occasion, and following a large and explosive incident the assassin stopped returning messages to all known contacts. This led to a gap in the infamy struggle among all the upstart assassins and mercenaries of the world, and skilled individuals soon rose to take Hollowpoint's place in the upper-class criminal scene.

Unbeknownst to the world however, the infamous killer hadn't been killed despite Deathbringer's efforts. Clinging to life, Hollowpoint was able to seek the aid of his most trusted contact, the bio-engineer that had aided him in escaping the THANATOS ONE facility all those years ago. The engineer induced Hollowpoint into a medical coma, where salvaged strands of the metagene use don him all those years ago worked to regenerate his nearly devastated body.

A few months ago, select targets around the glob started dropping like flies. No real calling card, but few in-the-know ignore the skill and the modus operandi. The rumors are already circulating.... Hollowpoint lives.
   
   
     
   
The Powers and Weaknesses
       

   (All characters can be as powerful as they want, as long as they are balanced with proper weaknesses.)
   Powers

   Power 1: Extreme Metahuman Senses. Hollowpoint's hearing, vision, smell and even sense of touch are all magnified to superhuman levels.  As a few base examples (though not the limit of his senses) he can clearly hear sounds too low or too high for humans to hear and smell even faint traces of chemicals and other compounds on people close to him.

   Power 2: Extraordinary Metahuman Accuracy. With an 9nnate combat finesse, Hollowpoint is able to make shots that defy known physics at times. This ability is not limited to firearms or ranged attacks either, every blow and or bullet dealt or fired by him almost never misses it's mark. Granted, he missed much more when fighting Metahumans and supernatural beings that have the speed to outrun his projectiles. But make no mistake, his proficiency is not to be taken lightly. ( ex: pretty much any sniper shot that a trained human professional would take reading wind, velocity and a number of other factors using a high caliber rifle, Hollowpoint can preform the same shot with a simple handgun. )

  Power 3: Metahuman Reflexes. Hollowpoint's brain is enhanced, increasing both intelligence, thought process and garnering him a sixth sense. This allows him to sense oncoming danger and maneuver to avoid it, boosting his reflexes to the point that he can catch most non-explosive human ammunition with little harm to himself, and more. Yes, he can catch bullets, though usually it's a better idea to just dodge them outright.

  Power 4: Metahuman Overdrive Regeneration. A peculiar power, Hollowpoint's white blood cells are heavily fused with the alien-mutated metagenes. Minor to medium injuries heal almost instantaneously, while larger injuries and beyond take increasingly longer to heal. Hollowpoint is able to regenerate most major organs, his nervous system and limbs in this manner. It is prone to leaving scars, however.

  Power 5: Metahuman Strength. Not as flashy of a version as some meta humans out there, the brawlers and mobile tanks of the world. But, Hollowpoint does posses disproportionate strength, along with the conscious full use of every muscle in his body. Ex: He can snap weapons made of steel with one hand, i.e swords and can strain to lift around one ton. larger feats of strength can be accomplished, with damage to his body however. He may keep such actions up only as long as his healing factor can keep up with him, healing broken bones and ripped muscle tissue from the stress.

  Power 6: Metahuman Durability. Standard bullets ( even hollowpoints, heh) can pierce his flesh, but do not penetrate near as far as they would on normal humans. This is because of Hollowpoint's body mass density. While his layers of skin are only as thick as any normal human, the thick corded muscle of his body is around ten times thicker than humans, and ten times more durable. In this manner, bullet wounds become flesh wounds and 50. caliber bullet wounds only serious enough to require bullet removal or face future pain as his regeneration heals the wound. His bone density is another story, nearly as hard as carbon steel. Hollowpoint is immune to head shots by traditional (human) firearms, no matter the caliber, as they will at most maybe DENT, his skull, damage which will be quickly fixed. In addition, Hollowpoint can go for near extreme periods of time without sleep or rest and is immune to all of earth's natural poisons and toxins along with serious electrical shocks. he also resistant, but not immune to extreme heat and cold.

  Power 7: Slowed Aging Process. it is unclear exactly how far this goes, but Hollowpoint's aging process has been dramatically slowed. His body has not deteriorated at all since his mid twenties.

   Weakness(es)

   Weakness 1: Long Term Pain. While Hollowpoint's regeneration factor is indeed amazing, he is hardly immune to pain. In fact, more serious injuries (such as those sustained ten years ago) not only take extra time to heal but cause sporadic, intense long term pain for situational lengths of time. Flares of these pains often result in loss of focus, and an increase of stress and frustration. More intense bouts can incapacitate him for short amounts of time. Ex: Rarely, Hollowpoint will experience nasty chest pain brought on by healed  injuries a decade old. Hollowpoint is sometimes able to bypass this pain by way of a mutagen steroid (unusable by those who are not metahumans, in fact highly poisonous to non metas), but the supply of such steroid is short in supply and the cost of manufacturing them means he does not carry many on hand at one time.

   Weakness 2: Hyper Focus. Because of his enhanced senses, Hollowpoint has a small habit of becoming too focused on specific details. This tunnel vision has created more problems for him than he cares to admit. This coupled with his tendency to care for little other than the  immediate situation at hand as let to him making shortsighted decisions several times.

  Weakness 3: Alien/Supernatural tech. Kind of a weakness, and majorly a wildcard. Hollowpoint has battled and assassinated those of alien and supernatural origin before, but considering the broad expanse of both types' arsenals He never really knows what to expect. And since most of his power comparisons stem for experience with metahuman and human assailants, it's unclear what kind of effects supernatural and alien gear will have on his person.

  Weakness 4: Invasive Metagenes. Hollowpoint's body is full of hyper charged metagenes, fused with alien bio-engineering. However, these metagenes are volatile and the ultimate nature of their chemical potential is unknown even to Hollowpoint himself. Therefore, further tampering with his genetics could lead to disastrous results for himself and others.

  Weakness 5: Incompatible blood. While he has a human blood type, the introverted metagenes filling most nooks and crannies of his body pretty much ensure blood transfusions, tissue grafts and most other forms of modern medical aid like antibiotics will be rejected by his body.  In fact, receiving these kinds of treatments can cause illness and long term discomfort.

  Weakness 6: While Hollowpoint is pretty much immune to earth poisons and toxins, one must remember that his metagenes are fused with alien DNA. The truth of the matter is that it isn't just one species, either. So when dealing with substances not from earth Hollowpoint must be very careful in how he handles them. Because who knows what these species were allergic to, or how exactly such substances will affect him? Some earth chemicals that aren't intended to be poisonous also have strange effects on him as a result of this alien biology. For instance, his body has a bad reaction to chlorine. The chemical easily leaves irritated burn like spots on his body even when diluted with water.

  Weakness 7: Independence, to put it simply. Hollowpoint is so independent and mistrusting of others it is very unlikely he would ever ask for help, perhaps only ion extreme cases (such as his run in with Deathbringer). This is intense enough to be, by itself, a type of hubris where Hollowpoint nine times out of ten rejects help out of denial that he needs it.

  Weakness 8: Part of the reason Deathbringer got the better of him, and why the helmet of his armor now contains that anti-psychic lining; None of Hollowpoint's metagene abilities make him resistant to mental effects. This means that if he does not take precautions, he is just as susceptible to superhuman pheromones, mind probing or other psychic style abilities as a normal human is.

   Items/Minions

  Reaving Frequency Blade: despite what his moniker may imply, Hollowpoint's arsenal is not limited to firearms. This sword is made from an unidentified alien metal, extremely durable and sharper than anything naturally made on earth, and possibly more. In addition, the sword is either semi-sentient or technologically alive, as it repairs damage to itself as if it was liquid metal. It never takes the form of liquid metal for any other purpose. The sheath of this sword is equally durable, and contains a firing procedure to launch the blade from the sheath. In this way, the sword can be used as a projectile, or the wielder of the sword can use the launching procedure for a ridiculously fast draw. The blade is also ID Locked while inside the sheath, and cannot be removed form the sheathe when locked by anyone other than Hollowpoint, or risk damage to the blade and sheath.

 Handguns: Twin pistols constructed by Hollowpoint himself, these handguns are capable of firing rates as high or higher than most assault rifles and, thanks to a plasma  generator built into each of them, generate their own ammunition.
 
  Railgun: Hollowpoint's standard answer to moving armored targets, these rail guns make use of Tesla cores to fire solid projectiles at speeds and frequencies powerful enough to punch through a few armored tanks with ease.

  Sniper Rifle: A bit simpler than the rail guns, and more adaptable. Hollowpoint's sniper rifle fires projectiles roughly 1/4 bigger than traditional anti-armor rounds. Hollowpoint carries different specialized ammunition to use against different targets. These  include special ammunition for metahumans, demons,  aliens and more, although the diversity of all those groups means nothing is ever guaranteed to work the way  it should. This sniper rifle is also compact, folding into a roughly rectangular form that easily hooked tot he back of Hollowpoint's suit.

 Assault Rifle: Like the sniper rifle and his handguns, the assault rifle is almost always carried on Hollowpoint's person. Compactable like it's sniper counterpart, this assault rifle uses a plasma generator to generate it's own ammunition and is capable of firing at overdrive to barrage areas with enough gunfire to mimic a battle field. It's larger size means that it needs to be fired with a but more care than the handguns however, unless Hollowpoint wants to risk it overheating and potentially exploding.

 Grenades and Bombs: Hollowpoint is always tinkering with explosives, and thus has developed a large variety of such munitions to choose from. He usually carries a few grenades of varying types, and a bomb or two for when things get hairy.

 Knives: Made of the same material as the Reaving Sword, these combat knives are extraordinarily sharp and practically weightless. They lack the ID lock of the sword, however.

 Bolas: One of the few non-lethal options in Hollowpoint's arsenal, these are used to take targets alive. They commonly come with intense electrical charges to stun their targets while entangling them.

 Hollow Saber: Without a doubt, this is the most expensive tool of Hollowpoint's trade. A fully armored battle suit that he uses only in emergencies, Hollow Saber trades agility for blistering speed and strength. It's armor is tough enough to survive nuclear weapons (not directly), and it's top speed can easily match most metahumans out there. But again, agility is sacrificed. The suit's weight makes tanking hits more worth it than trying, and mostly failing to dodge them outright. In addition, the suit itself uses a nuclear ion core than can cause damage to it's pilot if used for extended periods of time. The suit is capable of flight, comes with an upgraded and more devastating version of the Reaving Sword and a rail cannon that fires from the visor.

Exoskeleton: The armored costume most commonly seen on him, this exoskeleton is made of adaptable armor to avoid limiting his natural flexibility. It comes with active camo (predator style), and a shoulder mounted plasma caster. The helmet also features a lining of alien material that is very anti-psychic. Psychokinetic trying access his mind are met with painful psychic backlash more times than not. This is the newest addition tot he suit, after his run-in with Deathbringer. The plasma caster and the active camouflage run on a shared, limited power supply and the anti-psychic lining of his helmet can be overcome with focus and dedication by the psychokinetic.

Bodysuit: Worn under his usual armor, this catsuit helps to enhance his durability and agility.
