The Looks

THE LOOKS

Spoiler:
The clothing itself is mostly a brown cloak that covers his chest, mouth and a cowl. As a warrior of the Spirits he sports a straw hat and a long, and overly large white jacket with your traditional braided sandals. Hanging from his straw ha are little strings with spheres attached to them. Each sphere holds a piece of paper, each paper has a wish written on a piece of paper inside it. The reason for this is unknown.

The present day Satoshi is in fact very similar to the images seen above (which is the Satoshi of the past) The primary differences come in the hair style and color, dress code and eye color. Satoshi of our current day is generally seen in jeans and a black ling sleeved shirt, or any form of other popular and semi-fashionable clothing that doesn't make him seem like a total nerd. Satoshi generally wears a baseball cap while his blue eyes rest behind thick-rimmed glasses. Satoshi generally has his black hair as a "Fade" cut, where the hair on the top is moderately longer than the hair on the sides and in the back.

The Legacy

Personality:
Tsukiyomi
A very calm and collected individual with a strong sense of duty and loyalty to not only his people, but to all people under "The Spirits". Tsukiyomi is a hard working and driven individual whose fiery ambition rivals the flames of the sun, but has the control and steadfast nature of a statue. He is primarily silent

Through the very nature of who Tsukiyomi is and how he was raised, he adheres to a very specific set of strictures. It is in these strictures and this code that he orients his decisions and how he operates. He will never sway, be tempted nor ever succumb to any action that bids him to operate from outside this code.

While he at times appears to be a man made of stone and a samurai of great skill, Tsukiyomi is a being with more compassion than skill he could ever hope to acquire. That being said, his soft heart and his compassion and desires have only been enforcing agents into the code of conduct he was raised in and has chosen to follow. Tsukiyomi is compassionate and merciful, but knows what must be done and will willingly do so.

Satoshi
Satoshi is a bright young man privy to the ways of the world and, unlike his "past" counterpart, is not held to any real set code of conduct beyond that which his parents raised him. While these ideals in which he was raised never felt "right" to Satoshi he obediently and timidly did as he was told, playing into very much the man he is today.

Satoshi is certainly a lover more than a fighter, even actually seeming to avoid violence by almost any means necessary, even fearing violence. Cowardice is a good word to describe Setoshi, and through his cowardice he is often times easily intimidated or tends to take more passive and appeasing role in interactions with people he finds even remotely intimidating.

Satoshi is unmotivated and ultimately miserable with his life as it is, and has been battered into the mentality that life cannot and will not get better for him. No matter what happens or what good he does, he will always be dirt for others to walk on, of course leading Satoshi to experience depression.

Despite all the darkness doom and gloom surrounding Satoshi, he tends to be a rather rational problem solver and has a unique eye when it comes to "reading" others body language in even the most subtle ways and often times does what he can to help others through their dark times.

Satoshi is also a lover of all forms of animals.

History:
Tsukiyomi
Satoshi Hisakawa (in the past) was born to Toshiro Yamata, a child of taboo from the Thunder and Wind circles that was brought into the Circle of Death by Kage. Satoshi's mother was Hikari Hisakawa from the circle of rain, whom was recruited by the Circle of Death.

Satoshi was born into the circle of Death as a regular child, and for the first few boring years of his life he was a baby. Of course as he grew and eventually he managed to learn and absorb much of the way of life required by the circle and it's members. Unfortunately for Satoshi, his mother's constant talk of his father eventually began to pollute and change the young boys mind to greener pastures than the dark seclusion of the Circle of Death. So much so that by the time Satoshi was thirteen years of age he embarked in the dead of night, leaving the Circle of Death. Filled with wanderlust and an ambitious warrior's heart the young boy hoped to find his calling within the Circle of Rain.

Unfortunately for Satoshi, Kage had already delivered word that the youngster had escaped, and disclosed the boy's pedigree to the heads of each Circle. By time Satoshi managed to reach the circle and beseeched the circle to take him in, they turned him away. Satoshi was discouraged, but persisted as he approached the Circle of Thunder. Once more he was turned down after an impassioned plea for entry and acceptance. Finally Satoshi made his way to the Circle of Wind. It was unlike himself to do this. However, Satoshi rationalized that if the Circle of Wind would take him in, then the Spirits must have had need for him to be there. Unfortunately he was turned away without second thought...and Satoshi was lost.

Refusing to return to the circle from whence he came, Satoshi then left the life of the circles and the spirits, pursuing a life as a monk on the outside. A normal life in pre-feudal Japan. While Satoshi excelled at the life of a monk, his life felt entirely empty. In his mind, Satoshi was convinced that he was destined to be a warrior for the Spirits. Of course with the life behind him it was impossible for this to be. Before allowing himself to be burdened by the weight of his inequity, Satoshi went to the village temple and lived amongst the monks for twelve days, learning their ways and trying to remove the spirits from his mind. After twelve days Satoshi stepped from the temple and left to continue his life as a farmer. While his mind was clear of the Spirits and the futility of his desires...he was not entirely convinced differently.

As time went on, Satoshi lived for another four years as a lone farmer in the village. One night there was a loud gong to awaken the people, and when they came from their homes they looked to see the fields ablaze. A large hound-like creature with the horns of a dragon and a mane of fire began to terrorize the village before running off into the temple and vanishing. The priests from the temple left in a panic, and turned to ancient scrolls to seek out knowledge.

Their adversary was called a White Yaoguai, or a "White Demon" in a more common term. This particular demon apparently could be appeased by offering a living sacrifice once a year. Of course in the height of his despair, Satoshi agreed to be a living sacrifice for the Yaoguai. If his life was not going to be as he wished than what life was there to live at all? The Villagers honored and thanked him for his willingness and sent him into the temple, locking him in. It was here that Satoshi awaited his fate...but the longer he waited that day the sooner he realized that the creature was not here. Assuming the creature would return, Satoshi remained and waited out his days within the temple.

Twelve days he waited, slept and ate and waited to be eaten. Or worse for that matter. After his eleventh day he heard the thunder outside, the rain battering the temple and the winds howling. It was here that Satoshi remembered the principles of the circles, and the places of all things. It was here that Satoshi remembered the wind's forewarning, the thunders boisterous audacity and the rains graceful execution. All of this leading to the new beginning, brought unto us through death. Four in One. Satoshi stood and found a broom, breaking it and beginning to sharpen it as a weapon to potentially be used by the Yaoguai. At midnight, the breaking day, Satoshi turned with his fashioned weapon to find the White Yaoguai standing there. Satoshi felt stricken with fear, and almost instantly his hair turned as white as snow. But in bravery, and perchance some stupidity, he attacked the Yaoguai and began to battle the beast with nothing more than a broken broom.

Satoshi of course lost, however not before he gave the beast a grievous wound. As the beast closed in for the kill, a loud crash and boom filled the air as lightning stuck down and smote the beast, leaving Satoshi covered in dust, on his back looking up to a hole in the roof. Rain poured down as black clouds loomed all around, the wind howled and the thunder crashed through the air. The only thing that Satoshi could truly see in any light was that of the moon falling upon him. Sitting there, Satoshi knew what had happened and his eyes were opened.

Satoshi spent another twelve days without food or water in this temple, alone in solemn meditation as he tried to commune and listen to the spirits. Finally Satoshi listened and relied upon the moon, looking to it for guidance. In a vision during his meditation, Satoshi heard a voice...though which Spirit it may, or may not have been was hazy. It explained that the moon was the future. For the light of day is as is now, but one day the world will be surrounded by darkness and the beloved light of the un will be snuffed down to but a mere dull glow...only strong enough to keep the darkness at bay.

The Moon was alive...the moon was trying to reach to Satoshi and trying to reveal to him his path, a deep secret he never revealed. After his twenty-fourth day in the temple, Satoshi emerged, the doors opened and the villagers all looked to him in horror. They called him possessed, they called him a demon and they cursed him as if he were the Yaoguai. Satoshi attempted to calm them, and forewarned them that one day there would be a reckoning and that they should be prepared. With that warning, Satoshi left and became a wandering Samurai. For in his vision the moon not only revealed much...but it warned him that in his death he would not rest. For he was born before his time, and he would be forced to use this life to prepare his posterity to survive the future, and be ready to stand with those whom would stand unite as the nations of the spirits. As Moses, he would lead to the promised land...but he would not partake, as his job was not finished and there was need of him elsewhere...or rather else when.

Satoshi's death was shrouded in mystery, however it was clear that he did in fact die...and he was reborn once more. In our current era.

Satoshi
Satoshi was born the son of Kage of the circle of Death, the same whom trained Ryurou. Unfortunately, the Kage sent his son, Satoshi with his mother, Tiha Hisakawa. Tashiro lived a rather regular life as a Japanese American, though took great pains to push himself in his school work and lived in a way that continued to support strong Japanese traditions and odd little practices that don't quite seem to make any sense.

Satoshi is currently a college student with a dual-major in pre-med and robotics, in hopes of one day merging his knowledge to revolutionize the world of bio-robotics.

The Powers

Out of Time: Satoshi is a very unique individual, in the fact that he exists simultaneously a two separate times. That being said the previous version of him is perfectly aware that he was born "before his time" and as such has taken great pains to take actions and prepare his "posterity" (and unknowingly his reincarnation) in the future for events that would allow them to help stand alongside with those whom would unite the nations of the spirits in their battle against the darkness. This "preparation" can manifest in several ways, however items and equipment or things of that nature (if not a plot device discussed with other Rp'ers) are on the item list in the section below.

Spirit Inspired: Satoshi is completely in tune with the Spirits, and as such he is able to commune with them, hear their will, and interact with them (through ancient texts) and even allowing them to puppet his movement (while he is still consciously in charge). In doing so he is able to identify occult enemies and occult items or items of extreme importance. To Satoshi, however, it simply appears to be an item of interest. (Ex: Satoshi walks into a pawn shop where a magical ring is. The ring will be the first thing to grab his interest. he doesn't KNOW that it's an occult item or it's purpose. It simply is an item of value.)

Order of the Spirits: In the past, Satoshi was an excellent warrior with few rivals from any and all circle or nations under OR outside of the spirits. The teachings of the circle came easily to Satoshi so far as that no technique was beyond his capability including the Tenkyuu, and the Kushalatatsu techniques. Though he was skilled with them he was by no means a master.

Masked in Moonlight: Satoshi was a warrior commonly associated with moonlight. While his origins are unknown, Satoshi was trained and underwent a whole different set of training than the traditional members of the circle. In this Satoshi emerged with the revelation, a vision from an outside Spirit or power that revealed to him his place. In doing so, Satoshi emerged form the temple with white hair and in white robes. The true "gift" that Satoshi received however, was the ability to become empowered by moonlight and adding to his natural speeds over a short period of time. (Increased speed. Able to move up to Mach 3 at night when the moon is present to function like a shadow step.)

The Weaknesses

Time Lapse: Satoshi is entirely unaware of any of his powers, abilities or his past as of now. As such items popping up out of nowhere when they clearly weren't there seconds ago and random monster randomly appearing from nowhere to kill you tends to be mentally stressful for someone.

Inaccessible Ability: Satoshi does not have access to his abilities while he does have them in the past.

Inaccessible Skills: Satoshi does not have access to his skill while he does have them in the past.

Diplomacy: Satoshi will always attempt at diplomacy, even giving up the element of surprise to give an enemy the chance to redeem themselves or repent for their ways.

Death before Dishonor: Satoshi is raised with a traditional sense of honor, and even as a man dedicated to the Spirits he is bound to the laws and the code of honor and conduct prescribed by their practices. He is unable to kill, unable to steal or act/conduct himself in a dishonorable way. He would rather die.

Sunlight: When in sunlight, Satoshi is unable to call upon his ability to "shadow-step" or utilizing his superhuman speeds at all. Moonlight thereby makes him weaker.

The Equipment

誘導灯
Item Description: Translated as "Guiding Light" this is a Katana forged by Tsukiyomi and empowered by the moonlight

Item Abilities: A katana made of Atterrium which makes it indestructible and easily able to shrug of other powers (and explains why it's able to endure the test of time and pass through time and space and harm others of superhuman durability). The Katana has the unique ability to allow the very bottom adorning piece fall off and the cloth and lacing around the katana hilt turns into wind, compressing and incapacitating anyone or anything rather than allowing the Katana to deal lethal damage.

Item Weaknesses: The katana can be picked up by anyone, and if known how to use, it's functions can be used as well. The Katana is unable to kill. If a strike would kill a person the blade magically stops, freezing in place and halting it's wielder's movements in place. The katana burns hot in the hands if the blade is in sunlight for a long period of time.

The RP Mechanics

Meditative thought: Satoshi has the ability to enter a state of meditation which enables him to enter a state that silences all signs of his even being alive. His body temperature drops, his breathing is not able to be seen and his pulse and heart come to a crawl. In this state he is able to best commune with the spirits. Occasionally when he slips into these modes he can actually be puppeted easier.
