The Legacy

Personality:

Kara is a very motivated and opinionated individual. After the event that led to the discovery of her power, she became a vigilant person with a strong sense of justice. She will go out of her way to help those in need.

History:

"Damn you!!!" She screamed as the unknown assailant ran into a dark alley. The man she's trying to help is still unconcious, the back of his head still bleeding.

She, on the other hand, will become a victim in a few seconds.

Her vision became blurry, her knees buckled, her body almost went limp. Another hit. Either the assailant earlier had an accomplice or this city is just a hell hole.

Next thing she knows, the assailant is grabbing her bag, her money and other personal items along with it. She tries to fight, clinging onto his arm while trying to regain her senses but the other person is stronger and she is already in so much pain. The assailant wrestles her to the ground and speeds off.

She was angry. She wants to do something, to run after him but her body won't allow her to. Till now.

Her anger intensifies, her inner rage burns. He's getting away with assault and robbery and she can't do anything about it.

"Damn!!! It's hopeless.." She can't see him anymore. The darkness engulfs him.

Then something happened. She travelled from point A to point B in less than a second.

Then she crashes to ground. She lost him.

She laid there, trying to comprehend what just happened. Her skin is in pain, burns here and there, her muscles sore, her cheeks red as if hot air got blasted into

them.

"I'm dying...?" She closed her eyes. Her thoughts now collected. Comprehending everything now.

It was the birth of a new hero.

"No, I'm not. It's a rebirth."

The Powers and Weaknesses

Powers

Power 1: Speed burst - As her hero name suggests, Kara can store charged energy in her body for a limited time. This stored energy can then be used as a speed booster, allowing her to reach running and striking speeds beyond that of regular human capabilities for a short amount of time. The longer her charge is, the faster and longer her speed burst is.

Power 2: Heightened Reflexes - She has reflexes that are in the peak of human conditioning. This is very useful especially when micromanaging her charge attempts while evading enemy fire or melee. It also allows her to use her modified car to its full potential

Weakness(es)

Weakness 1: Charge time - Her power is also her main weakness. Charging takes a couple of seconds to a couple of minutes and during this period, she is prone to

enemy attacks. An enemy wise enough to interrupt her charging phase can pretty much nullify her speed advantage.

Weakness 2: Non-compensated body - She needs her special suit whenever she uses her speed burst power at it's highest level. Without her special suit, burns and lacerations due to wind and/or debris friction will occur. There is also a chance to have torn muscles or broken bones due to the enormous stress that the burst puts
her body into.
