To slay a god [Zell] Empty To slay a god [Zell]

Post by The Bolt July 14th 2014, 9:57 pm

Sweltering heat and dry winds swept across the ethereals cheek, slowly drying out skin as he walked through the seemingly endless desert. He was dressed simply, in faded blue jeans a black jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and sunglasses over otherwise opulent silver eyes flecked with neon green. Michael adjusted the shades, looking upwards for a moment before looking into the horizon with a disappointed sigh. ”Feels as if this damn thing goes on forever.” He would mutter, smacking his lips and running a dry feeling tongue over his lips. It had been a good week since he had been home, on what one would call a constant journey, looking for one thing and one thing only. For this thing the ethereal had traversed even other dimensions, fought and slew powerful monsters that preyed on the edge of human nightmares, all for one cause.

He would pause, standing at the crest of a dune, more winds blowing across the dry desert as a few clouds of sand would brush across his flesh, which was beginning to grow slightly red from intense sun. Fingertips would brush over a small scar, barely visible to the casual observer, but if one were to look closer they could see the small white mark upon his cheek, as well as some trailing down his jawline as faint as that. Sadly his torso had not been so fortunate, criss crossed with rather ugly red markings, one that seemed to be caused by various things, claws, blades and even fire. Yet none of that was visible, not underneath the clothing that he was wearing, the back of his hand revealing the beginnings of a complex matrix of runes, ones that glowed a low purple color.

Letting the fingertip trail down his jaw slowly, Michael took in a deep, dry breath before returning to what his mind was mulling over. Leaning forward he would take off in what one would call a flash, a blur almost as he sailed over the sands with an inhuman grace as well as speed. Clouds of the dry sand would kick up behind him, as the male continued to move faster and faster, temporarily ignoring the sweltering heat as only one thing moved through his mind, one single purpose. Within an instant he would stop, sliding along until Michaels movement was ended and he stood before a large temple, wrought of limestone and rising high into the sky as if an affront to some god, or an homage. Michael would approach an entrance, bathed in darkness and perhaps too dark for even the ethereal to see within.

This however was a problem that he could remedy, one that did not require too much ingenuity beyond a small little trinket, one that a novice enchanter could make. This came in the form of a small cyan orb that he removed from his right pocket, whispering something to it as it would levitate from his palm and cast the light into the murk, illuminating the dusty temple that awaited him, though the entrance itself seemed to go on forever, as Michael stepped into it, more than prepared to deal with whatever it was that waited within the darkness. While he did not appear armed, the male was armed in ways that one could not see. ”So a place like this? I would've expected something grander, maybe a palace or something along those lines.” Michael muttered removing the shade and placing them in his jacket pocket, s as he followed the lead of the glowing orb, making light of the small scar that remained under his right eye.

It would not be long now, his search would be over soon.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by Silus July 15th 2014, 10:15 pm

Tossing and turning. Nightmares from whispers and events long passed. He sat up with a gasp. His breath quivering, and a tear dropping from his eye which betrayed the calm and collected boy. Burning Indigo eyes shining in the night as he looked across his little room, looking to the tan male who lay in the dog bed, but sprawled out in his human form. Silus found it cute, but after six months of it, it wasn't exactly shocking. He looked to the horizontal white blades, spaced perfectly apart, moonlight slipping through the cracks like water to the Titanic. The pale moonlight crept over him as his mind sailed on to where his dreams had lied. The thought of Raziel having killed Silus, Jordan's powers not being able to save him...not even Zell's being able to save him. He remembered these. So why did his dreams show him Michael being slain? His heart sank and the pain was so real, even when he knew it wasn't. It felt like he had lost his brother, his tormentor... his idol.

Silus' head went down and suddenly his cheek grew warm, and he had the sensation of being on total lockdown. He would have questioned, but he felt as though he knew. It amazed Silus... if you throw a shoe at him he'll wake up later with a black eye and not knowing what happened. The softest sob, sigh or cry from Silus, no matter how muffled, and Yancey was awake and alert. "I gotcha!" Yancey hummed as he rested his lower jaw on Silus' head. Silus let himself calm, let himself bend, almost break, but he finally let himself out. He left himself be freed the burden of trying to be tough. He had endured so much in such a little time. Being a powerless prince, common children trying to drown him. Awakening his powers through high stress and killing his brother Shael. That was the thing though. Back in those days it was just Michael saying "boo" when Silus didn't know he was around. But... when he did that, when he saw Silus jump...it made him smile. Not the predatory viscous smile either...a genuine smile.

It clicked in. The gears turned, clicked and he got it. He understood. After Shael died...Michael isolated. He retreated. After the fight with Raziel he knew it was true though. Raziel was a liar, a freak, and a devious creature...but Silus knew what he said was true. Silus finally felt the guilt of his actions...even those that weren't intended. No wonder Michael hated him, no wonder Michael thought Death was too good for him. Silus killed Shael...it was an accident, but that was no excuse to someone who felt...like Mike die towards the victim. After all how would Zell react if Silus killed Sean accidentally? This was all his fault. All of it... back to the beginning. It was all Silus' fault. The door opened to his room and Amir peered in, looking worried over what he was hearing. Yancey looked to him, glaring before sighing and looking away and motioning for him to come to Silus. Amir had his ways, even if he didn't know why or how...he could always make people feel better. Charismatic little Middle-eastern boy this one.

It took hours, but finally Silus had stopped crying. He found himself worried, wounded and weak. He found himself devoid of purpose, devoid of cause and initiative. He had brought this on himself. He was a ghost, living in a shell that he called a body, and on the inside he wailed, and wailed because of what he had done. He yelled when they called Michael a monster and he never knew why. But he finally knew why his instinct was to protect Michael now. Because Michael wasn't a monster. He was a victim of circumstance, morphed and molded by the cruel twist of fate that was Silus' existence. The boy refused to let them kill Michael, he refused to let them call him a monster. It was because deep down...Silus knew...He was the monster. Not Michael. Yancey growled, in his human form it attracted attention from both Amir and Silus, who looked to him. Silus forgot the fact Yancey could hear his thoughts...it made moments like this difficult.

"Silus...you're not a monster." Yancey assured him. Amir looked mortified as he hugged his little brother. "No, not at all... Monster's don't dream of being heroes. Monsters don't have nightmares." Amir assured Silus. Yancey chimed in at the last moment, enough to leave an impression on Silus. "Monster's don't worry if what they do is right or wrong." Silus thought about this. It was true...he supposed. Maybe he wasn't a monster. But if he wasn't the monster...and Michael wasn't the monster? Silus felt his heart freeze, chill over as the name touched his mind. Raziel was the heart of it, wasn't he? After they beat him...Mike started going back to normal. Silus winced as he thought about what he needed to do. He hugged his "brother" and his dog back before looking to Amir.

"A-amir...I need Dad's help." Silus said. Amir just nodded, unsure why Silus was petitioning him for The good Doctor's help, though the ungodly hour of the morning it was perhaps proved why. Silus then turned to Yancey. "I need you to go find daddy and get him to find Raziel." He asked. Knowing Zell, Yancey asking about Raziel would be odd...this was likely going to be Silus' grand return to his family's sights. While Silus trusted his daddy's vast knowledge endlessly...he knew that there were some limits...wasn't there!? He would need to find Raziel... there was no "try" because he would.

"Si..." Yancey said. Silus' eyes shifted up through the tips of his shaggy hair as he looked to Yancey. "Why do you need to know that?" He asked. Silus' eyes moved away, back out to the window as he stood up and looked outside. His hands resting on the windowsill and eyes fixated to the heavens above, looking similar to Ouroboros in posture.

"I promised I'd never kill anyone...remember Yancey? I promised to never take the life of another...But now I'm making a new promise." Silus said. Yancey smiled, proud of Silus in the beginning, but the unnatural tone in his voice, the gravitas was unusual for the child. "I'm going to find Raziel...I'm going to take away everything from him, even his links to the soul-stream and the Etherium... but this is nothing. My promise? I promise you when I get to Raziel..." Silus said, he turned his head, looking over his shoulder. Indigo glowing eyes burning with narrowed eyes.

"He will die."

and with that Amir would find no rest that night, and in the morning he would sit Silus with the good doctor and explain the situation and the intent of Silus' heart. Silus explained everything, everything about him. It was unfathomable to Doctor Alai, and yet...Silus was as a son to him...and he trusted him with his life. Doctor Alai agreed to get Silus wherever he needed to be... but under one condition. Doctor Death went with him. Silus initially protested, but Yancey returned with information...information that he wouldn't tell until Silus agreed to take him as well. Needless enough to say, Silus agreed... and Silus, Doctor Death and Yancey were headed for Egypt as Amir found himself going with them.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by The Bolt July 15th 2014, 11:26 pm

His heartbeat was running at a steady pace, the volume just enough for Michael to hear within the empty temple, only a small sickly light leading him through the dusty hallway. The light fell back upon him and created an unearthly color on his flesh, eyes catching the light and beginning to glow slightly as the ethereal would begin to venture deeper into the dark place, one with a hallway that seemed to go on forever, yet that did not stop him. The place felt empty, yet he could feel something within it, an energy that he was more than familiar with and one that drew a painful pulse from his stomach. Eyes would close and for a moment one image would come back to him, a fist breaking through flesh and bone, peering through his abdomen drenched in blood. Clenched within those fingers was a sliver of bone, stark white and red. Michael would shake his head and inhale deeply, biting on his lower lip as he looked ahead.

”Just you wait you son of a bitch.” He thought to himself, eyes narrowing into slits for a moment as the illuminating orbs would hover on ahead of him, footsteps unnaturally loud within the place, the further he walked the closer the energy that he felt would become. Raziel was here, something within him could feel it and that something wanted Michael to turn around, to walk away from this situation. Part of him considered it, that the ethereal would kill him, but there was also the chance that he would be able to kill Raziel, that he would be able to put that bastard down. There was still no end to this place in sight, just darkness that stretched on forever and ever, a darkness that could swallow up all hope, and all light. There was only one darkness that matched this, one that the Titans called The Abyssal scar, a place even the strongest of Titans feared to go.

The darkness here was much like that one, and it for a second filled Michael with an alien feeling. A bead of sweat would fall from his forehead, trailing along his nose before falling to a dry and dusty floor. The ethereal would pause for a moment, feeling something wash over him like a wave, drawing a low chattering sound from his teeth as all hairs upon his body would begin to raise. There was only one thing that could really garner such a feeling from a living being, and that was a massive concentration of Nether, one that even went beyond the nether within The Abyss. Yet how it was being produced within the mortal world was beyond his imagination, as this amount alone could destroy all lesser life on the planet, granted his being an ethereal gave him some leeway, being a member of the titan race did not really hurt either.

It was after around half an hour of this walking that he came upon what appeared to be a stairway, made of the same stone that the rest of the structure was made of. Along the walls small torches would light up, illuminating the endless darkness and showing the seemingly endless staircase, one that wound and wound like a spring, as if he was goading Michael to go further into the abyss that lay out before him. ”Alright, lets see what lies down here.” Michael muttered with furrowed brows, though he did have one thing in mind. A dead raziel was that thing.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by Silus July 16th 2014, 12:52 am

The Alai's made it to the desert, more specifically the temple. Doctor Alai's scanners went off the fritz about a high concentration of some unknown energy. One that was very similar in it's readings to the necrotic energy his glove emulated through the Alai gem. He stopped and grabbed Amir by the shoulder. The boy stopped promptly, as did Silus and Yancey. Silus looked over to Yancey and then back to the Alai's. Silus' heart broke, because he was having to say goodbye to two people who very well may have saved his life, improved his life and took him in as a legitimate member of their family. Silus was not under any delusions. He was following the tune of Raziel's footsteps. He was following his own dirge. But he wouldn't die afraid, or a coward. Sometimes death happens. Sometimes it fails miserably. That all aside, he found himself overwhelmed with emotions as Amir looked to Silus with big pleading eyes that just begged him to not go. Doctor Alai was no better, but he stood ready to support Silus' decision. Silus looked to Yancey who smiled at him as if they were just having a party or something.

"Yancey. Stay here and keep them safe. I'll summon you if I need to." Silus said. Yancey whined and stepped forward, But Silus poked him in his tummy, causing the male to whine as if he were a dog. Yancey slunk down, squatted and whined the whole way Silus walked into the temple. The Alai's and Yancey were left behind, but to Silus all was well. Nether energy, his old nemesis was now a haven for him, to some extent. He could move through it without issue, thanks to Ryurou's curse upon his birth. The Samurai had actually strengthened Silus. It was not his intent, and no one would claim that. But it proved Silus was one thing, if not a loyal family member. Silus was a survivor. He moved into the darker regions and found himself unable to see. He quickly summoned forth his magical painting apparatus, taking the form of a glove with different paints upon command. He painted with this glove, a torch and then when Silus tugged at the drawing, the torch came form the wall and the torch was conjured, allowing him to see as he made his way.

There was literally no freaking way this temple was this huge. Silus felt like he had been walking for an hour. Of course he was only really walking for half of that, but that all aside he eventually would catch up to where Michael was, though it was quite likely that he had already moved on.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by The Bolt July 16th 2014, 1:14 am

Michael would begin to descend down the ancient spiral staircase, each footstep loud as he went further and further down the lighted path. ”Hmmm, so you came all of this way to find me?” A voice would question within the dimly lighted gloom, Michael whipping towards the source of the sound and glaring at what was a flickering image of Raziel. His lips were curled into a cruel smile, looking over Michael with a certain intent, yet he could tell that it was not truly Raziel that was standing before him. Just a projected image, and one that he could ignore as he began to walk onward, stepping past the projections. ”Awww, no words for me Mike? After all we've been through I would gave expected atleast a hello.” The projection would note  with a pout following after Michael, yet creating no footsteps. ”Its nice to see you walking again, especially since last time I saw you, a wheelchair was involved.”

The ethereal attempted to ignore him, increasing the pace of his walking as he tried to get to the heart of this place as fast as possible. Raziel would not be his problem for much longer, just a little longer and he would be free of all of this, his life could perhaps gain some manner of normalcy, with the ethereal that seemed to enjoy tormenting him was dead. ”Hmmm, someone else is here as well............oh wow.” Raziel would chuckle before walking ahead of Michael. 'I'll let this one be a surprise.” Like that the image would disappear, and a shifting and falling feeling would begin to move through his stomach. It felt as if the very ground were moving, and Michael's legs refused to move, he was left standing there for a moment, falling against the wall as his mind swam.

He would steady himself with a hand, breathing becoming rapid for a moment as the male attempted to keep himself balanced, then pushing off and standing to his feet. Something had happened, and whatever that something was, he could not quite tell what it was. The wave of dizziness passed for him and he would begin to move again, What the ethereal was not aware of however was that the place had shifted, changed to where Silus would reached the stairwell within a matter of a minute and he would reach the heart chamber within a matter of five.  Rubbing the bridge of his nose, he would begin the seemingly endless walk, unaware how close he was but considering using his speed to make this go by quicker.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by Silus July 16th 2014, 10:42 pm

Silus walked through as fast as he could. It was a long, long time. He could feel Raziel's presence. He knew Raziel was watching. Silus felt a smile creep onto his innocent little face as he walked, eyes shifting through the darkness, illuminated by the torch. He took a deep, nether-filled breath and let out a relaxed sigh. Feeling perfectly founded in his resolve, he knew what he was doing. His hand drifted up and he rubbed his chest, feeling the burn of hatred within his heart. Beneath his chest there was something burning, something that was placed within him. He could feel Yancey's energies as he went deeper and deeper in.

Silus transformed into his older form as his mouth pressed into a fine line and he analyzed absolutely everything around. "I know you can hear me...come on out... you already went this far to ruin my life...why not finish what you started?" He posed the question aloud, unsure if Raziel could really hear him or not. It wasn't exactly out of the way to think one such as him could have such dominion. Silus just kept going deeper and deeper in, a smile still playing at his face as he approached where Michael had been once more. He rolled up his sleeve and drew a small gun on the back of his forearm as he approached. It wasn't anything fancy, but enough to do the job. Silus then pulled his sleeve down and walked, entering the room.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by The Bolt July 16th 2014, 11:09 pm

One and on Michael would walk, feeling the nether feed the other half of him, the Titan side which drank in the power of the death energy. Further he would descend, until at last he came upon what appeared to be a rough cut limestone door. It would open for him, releasing a low creaking noise as the brightly lit room beyond waited for him. The ethereal would step hesitantly beyond the doorway and to meet him was the blond ethereal upon a dark throne, resting cheek upon one palm as he looked down upon Michael with a devious grin. ”Welcome Hyperion.” Raziel said with not a hint of the usual cockiness within his voice, yet he did not even move a muscle to prepare himself. Michael would step through the door further as the golden torch light fell upon him, glowing silver eyes narrowed upon the male.

Resting beside the throne was a simple looking blade, made from a clear crystal that caught the light and refracted it in so many ways. His eyes would fall upon this weapon, and then back to Raziel, narrowing as if considering the best way that he could kill the ethereal. Within an instant he would rush the male, Misanthropy forming within his hand and aiming to slash out at his throat, black blade slicing through the air, and meeting with the crystal within the males hand, a loud ringing emanating through the room. ”Well, that was rather rash of you.” He noted with still a smirk on his face, wrist flicking as Michael was sent skidding back. A single cut would appear upon his cheek, trickle of blood flowing down his cheek. ”I mean if thats all you have, i'm not in any danger really.” He scoffed and with a flick of the blade, the very would begin to ripple, ground being cut by invisible blades.

Michael would quickly duck and roll, avoiding the deadly attack as it collided with the wall and left a large hole within it. ”Next.” Raziel said as Michael would disappear with a puff of grey mist, appearing behind him with the blade barreling towards his throat, letting the blade move and catching it above his head. With a free hand, Raziel would grip onto Michael's ankle, tossing him much like a rag doll into the wall with what appeared like a casual gesture.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by Silus July 17th 2014, 8:48 pm

Silus walked into the room silently. The ether-being had made his attack on Michael and now it was up in the air. quickly his finger twitched and waved through the air. A small little straight line, a curved tail off it and a circle. His hands moved quickly, and his finger was pointed at Raziel. He then flipped Michael, causing him to scoff as he held an open hand, as if it were a hand-print paint. He sent the hand out to catch Michael, increasing it's size and cradling his fall. Silus brought his hand back and the runic marking "painted" on the air itself dissolved and turned into a powerful blast of energy, consuming the area before him, hurdling at Raziel's direction. Silus' made no indication that he even noticed Raziel. His eyes were fixated on Michael. They weren't the friendly indigo eyes Michael would remember. These eyes were entirely different. There was no twinkle, or sparkle that came with childish youth or with the innocence that Silus held. Instead they were the eyes of a Blackened. Lifeless...and faithless. The light of life was extinguished, he was like a walking husk. Silus' "heartless" gaze bore into Michael before turning to Raziel, after his attack had run it's course.

Silus was glad to know Michael looked just as rough as he did. Though his heart ached that they were both going to die here. He smiled internally. Wow...no wonder I told Ryan my name was Zell. I'm trying to die a martyr to bring people together. He scoffed and shok his head back and forth, though it may have appeared to be at Raziel. Hell no. I'm shooting this one in the foot. I'm not the one dying here...and neither is Michael. He then drew an "Invisible" circle in front of him. The Alai's waited outside the temple. Doctor Alai snapping his finger and forcing his suit to generate a pseudo-energy similar to the Alai crystal. He then created a semi-dome around him and the two "children" as they sat in the sand. Yancey whimpered as he awaited his master's call, unsure of what was going on within the dark place before them.

Doctor Alai grunted and the suit froze. Yancey and Amir looked to him. The suit's eyes had faded, and his power was no longer up. There was a loud clanging noise as the chest piece finally opened and Doctor Alai barreled out gasping for air. The soft sand caught his fall as he looked to Amir and Yancey. "Papa! Are you hurt?" the small child would ask before Yancey looked to the suit and cocked his head to the side pointing up at the suit. "Doctor Alai?" He asked. The male looked to him with a deep inhale gracing his lungs that craved it. "Yes child?"

"What happened to your gem?" Yancey quizzed. Doctor Alai looked at him, puzzled by what he had meant. He followed the pup's hand to see his suit... The Alai Gem was missing.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by The Bolt July 17th 2014, 9:17 pm

Michael collided with the hand construct, a small pain coursing through his back from both the impact and the durability of the construct itself, wondering who had created it. The ethereal would quickly rebound to his feet, glaring at Raziel for a moment before turning to the person that had jumped into the fight, yet his mind stopped for a moment. No, for a moment everything seemed to stop as he looked to the male for a moment as if trying to figure out exactly what he was looking at. His mind would ran over this again and again, yet no real answer came of it other than he was either finally going insane, Raziel was screwing with him or it was really him. Despite what one would call a dead look within his eyes, Michael was.....happy was the correct word right? So a brother wasn't dead, but that did not mean his son would magically walk through the door and say “hey i'm not dead either!”

Sadly that was not how things worked, no, it was never how things worked really. ”Interesting, the two brothers come together to fight me.” Raziel murmured to himself with blade still in hand, and still seated upon his throne. A dark energy would radiate around the crystalline sword, and with a motion he would release a blast of his own, bisecting the attack and sending it into the walls behind him. '”And both dead inside, how amusing.” He noted with a chuckle as sections of the wall would fall tot he ground behind him, one of the columns falling towards his throne that he sat upon but the section that was to hit him seemed to be reduced to a dust that settled around him, not a single particle touching.

”I wonder if I should start getting a little serious. Finish off, make this three.” The ethereal would stand to his feet as a small invisible pulse of power coursed through the massive throne room. ”So come on Michael, attack with that sword of yours again.” Raziel goaded with a flourish, drawing the blade along the ground and then directing it towards Silus. Michael turned his attention towards raziel, glaring at him for a moment before making his own move, moving faster than the human eye could perceive but to Raizel it was stagnant motion. Within an instant he would barrel at the male, blade aimed towards his right leg, aiming to slow the ethereal down, but a quick movement of the weapon deflected the attack, Michael shooting on hand out to catch himself on the ground as he aimed to slam a knee into his face.

Raziel would quickly bring up the flat of the blade to block the attack, followed by a power kick of his own, though it only passed through grey mist where the arm was. With that small amount of time remaining, Michael would solidify his limb and manage to slam a kick into Raziels back, sending him skidding forward a few feet, though with a quick movement he deflected the blade strike aimed at his back. ”You call that a kick? Come on, i've felt harder kicks from children.” He said with a wink, leaning back to avoid the strike aimed at his throat. "And you saw where those kicks got them.”

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by Silus July 18th 2014, 12:00 am

"Hm? Oh you're still talking?" Silus asked in response to the "dead inside" comment. It was true. He was a train wreck. Nothing in his life ever went nice. He just wanted to be a normal kid. A normal fucking kid with a normal family. He finally had one and then he comes off to save Michael. This was his fault. This was all his fault. He deserved to die, and he knew it. So maybe it was time he got what he deserved...

"Yancey." Silus said. Immediately there was a flash of light and the room illuminated slightly. The male's eyes fixated on Raziel a hatred burning unlike one had ever seen from him. Within an instant two phaser-swords appeared in his hand, compliments of his powers. He charged at Raziel, limber and swift he cut at the head, as he ducked down, a hurricane uppercut of twirling and flourishing blades, aiming to decorate the floor with the divine's blood.

Silus himself used the time to quickly sketch out little figures with his fingers. They seemed to be of some strange nature, one that even Raziel himself would not recognize. Ones that Silus didn't want to use. Xibalba was a place he had once ventured...a place that Zell once investigated to find one particular artifact. The Artifact held a key to an ascension of the most unholy kind. The runic markings were finished, Yancey still proving difficult to hit or even come close too. The wolf boy even conjured himself a little armor of light, a helmet like Hermes and Soul-Calibur paladin styled spaulders with a cloak of light radiating down. It was exactly like watching the valiant paladin fight against Hellshrike. But that was another story...

Silus placed his hands on the runic marking and closed his eyes. This was a most unusual event. Desperate times call for desperate measures however. In a moment there was an ominous tinges to the energy around Silus, intreaguing, but obviously too dangerous to allow to persist. So much so that there was reckless abandon on even The Archon's behalf. Michael! He cannot be allowed to complete that ritual! The voice urged with great urgency into Michaels mind, but still masked form Raziel. Silus began to chant words in Ethersong, and Yancey continued to flip and slash out at Raziel.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Raziel smirked brandishing the weapon in hand as he looked upon Silus, eyes glowing a dark color for a moment as Michael would attempt to rush him again. Misanthropy would sail once again to slice through his neck, as the ethereal ducked under it, and delivered a powerful kick to his stomach that sent Michael reeling into a wall. His attention then turned towards Yancey, the young photokinetic that appeared within a brilliant flash of light and then began to assail him with two swords of light. The ethereal was more than ready for this however, raising the blade up and deflecting the weapon and ducking back to avoid the one attacks that were aimed to slice at his face, smirking all while it went. ”That the best you got pup? Cause if it is, you have no chance of touchin me.” Raziel scoffed, twirling around to meet Micheal’s blade a she quickly recovered from the attack.

All it took was a single motion, as the blade drew across his chest, releasing a gout of blood. A spurt of blood would erupt from Michaels mouth as he stumbled back, being met with the hilt of raziels blade in his face, and falling to the ground. ”This is really pathetic Michael.” He would scoff, moving to deflect another strike from Yancey, though one of the blades met with his flesh and created a small red line, golden blood coming from that. ”If we're all done here, I think i'll end this.” With a flick of the blade a alrge burst of energy would erupt towards Michael who was still within the motion of getting up, holding his right arm up towards tha attack as it seemed to hit. However the energy did something else, converging upon one point, his arm.

The leather would begin to melt from the sheer energy as the matrix about his arm would glow a bright grey color, and Michaels eyes would begin to shift, taking on the Occuli omnipotente. ”I was thinkin the exact same thing.” Michael muttered with a smirk, raising the fist into the air and slamming it into the ground. Cracks erupting from the point of impact and spreading through the room, utterly destroying the floor as Raziel jumped back. He would cling to the wall, yet Michael was gone, and a fist collided into the ethereals face, sending him flying into one of the walls. Michael would then land upon the floor, arm still glowing brightly as the cut adorning his chest would begin to seal itself. ”I''ve spent a while looking for the secret to defeating you Raziel, and here it is.” He said with a smirk as the energy coalescing around his arm would begin to grow stronger.

”Ow.” Raziel muttered irately as he pulled himself from the ruin of the wall, lip now busted as blood dribbled down his chin.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by Silus July 18th 2014, 1:03 am

The energy pulsed from the runic markings he drew in his last breath. Time froze all around the pulsing of this rune, and in an instant he felt his skin flaking off, revealing a black gauntlet and chest piece. His bones broke out of his body as he howled with a great pain. Soon an unholy darkness that would made the Abyss shirk away would fill the room as Silus looked up and let out a terrifying roar from the pain. The reverb shook the temple to it's foundation, thankfully there was no damages that would have otherwise trapped them. Silus went from a knee to both feet, now standing tall in black armor, little red energy piercing through the armor plating's that wrapped around him like wire. Those energies, however, were eyes, extra sensory. There was a blade in his possession and where he stood spikes of obsidian rose, allowing him to sit back on a perfectly formed obsidian throne.

"Silus? W-what did you do?" Yancey asked, concerned for the health of his friend. There was no response from the malicious glowing indigo eyes as he sat there, Obsidian Lions carving themselves at his arm rests. Silus just sighed, a dark and deep dog like growl. "I have secured out path to victory. But YOU, my little furry friend." Silus said, a truly ark and creepy voice taking through his throat. Silus waved a hand casually, as if he were brushing the air for a moment. Yancey, howevere began to yelp in pain. "S-Silus please! I-I I can do it! I can do it! Don't stay like that! It's gonna cut your connection to the Eth-AAAAGHHHAAA!" Yancey dropped to his knees and held his head. His eyes forced shut as if he were beginning to cry.    "It is too late for me my old friend. My heart was forfeit when I vowed Michael would see the next sun and Raziel would not." Silus said, he reverb in his voice sounding hungry, almost grating.

A tear rolled down Yancey's cheek, from the pain before it simmered and sizzled off. His eyes opened and his head was thrown back, the light armor dissipated, leaving Yancey rather exposed for just a moment. The light shined through his eyes, burning an orange color and then a red. The red crawled out over his skull and grappled it as he cried out. His exposed flesh seemed to turn black form his neck down, getting jagged and jaded edges as he cried out. Silus' ultima taking the form of dark obsidian had formed an armor over the wolf-thing. "I will not cut you of the connection I have cut myself...but you will serve me as the same beast I am. You too shall be blackened until I am in possession of the heart of Raziel." Silus made the command, his voice booming and echoing. Yancey stood up a scimitar of hell firelight forming in his hand as he let out a wail.

"I will need to thank the Alai's. Because of their gem I was able to pursue my promise... No more feelings...no more pain. You, Raziel are no longer an issue. But DO try and entertain my dog, won't you?" Silus said as he brought his right leg up and crossed it over his left knee, leaning back and watching. The Blackened Yancey charged, lashing out with unrivaled precision and haste. His movements were blurs, he was adapting, becoming stronger and better.

"Dance, Dance Raziel. The Seventh Seal has been broken...come and see!" Silus chuckled, the biblical quote signaling the doom of Raziel as Silus sat there, untouchable upon his throne. Silus was not Silus anymore. It broke Yancey's heart to feel the coldness, the sadness and the loneliness that had finally consumed the boy. The boy had fallen into darkness....admitting that it was all for his brother...and a promise he made. That Raziel would pay. (Seventh Seal Ultima: dark-looking) (+7 Speed +1 Durability to Yancey)

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

Post by The Bolt July 18th 2014, 1:27 am

Raziel would rise from the rubble that had fallen upon him, brushing away a small amount of wall with a casual motion of an arm, still glaring at Michael as he tried to figure out what the male had done. It was when his eyes shot wide open that one could surmise that he figured it out, a low surprised gasp escaping from his throat. ”No, you actually plan to go through with it?” He would mutter to himself as Michael smirked, nodding a couple of times as  the energy would begin to form around his form like a brilliant cloak. ”So it seems you two brought your a game to kill me, how flattering.” he muttered raising the blade in preparation to deal with Yancey, or rather The Blackened Yancey. He was not expecting what Silus had done, but then again it was not as if he was dead yet, not with what the ethereal could do.

Blades of hellfire would clash with his own blade, releasing a loud demonic keening, as he would attempt to keep up with the wolf that had grown faster. Raziel grunted as Michael would join in the demonic dance, eyes attempting to keep everything in check, yet he had a feeling this would not so easily go his way. Yet the ethereal had expected Michael to react to Silus' transformation, so let that give him a brief reprieve from this, unless of course he had killed off his own emotions, had let himself become the heartless monster that his family thought him to be. With a swift motion he would separate the blade into two, and quickly went to counter Michael, yet the strength behind his swing was monumental, one arm reaching our and grabbing onto his forearm, as he felt as if something was drawing his energy away.

Lashing out with a kick, Raziel would separate from Michael and become a whirlwind of blades to get away from Yancey, as a few cuts adorned his arms and chest. So the bastard was planning to drain him of his power? Seemed like Michael was the type to harp on poetic justice, or atleast enact it, as he prepared for another assault from the two new aggressors, standing upon the apex of one of the sections of smashed floor. Within an instant Michael would move, his speed almost invisible as he gripped onto raziels blade, cutting into his palm as he twisted his wrist, and the blade would shatter much like glass. ”And I thought this would be harder.” Michael noted and with a motion, he used the broken blade to slash out a large gash upon the ethereals arm, releasing more of the golden blood as he roared, jumping back.

Michael would ready his blade Misanthropy, unleashing a burst of dark ethereal, meeting with Raziels weapon, as he was forced into the wall and then.....further. The ethereal would rise as the walls seemed to give way, revealing a black pit that released more of the dark nether, one that for a moment made Michael shudder as the ethereal would rise into view with his golden wings forming. It was this sensation however that Mike remembered, they were in The Abyss.

”Alright I gotta admit, i'm impressed.”

Post by Silus July 19th 2014, 12:12 am

Raziel mentioned how he was impressed but Silus just sat there, a fist on his helmet, where his cheek would be. His indigo glowing spheres looking to the blade he idly twisted and turned into the blade as if not even looking or paying attention to the conflict. Yancey roared, as he turned to ashes. He reappeared beside Michael, as a spark and then he flourished the blades like a blade dancer. The Blackened-male charged Raziel, jumping and kicking at Raziel with a obsidian spiked boot, and then slashing with his scimitar. Once contact was made he'd kick back and flip to the side, slicing at the back before landing and twirling the blade once more.

"Michael, stop playing around. I would like this to be over before I can collect my Social Security check." Silus said with a roll of his eyes and a sigh, as if he were being put out of his way. He let out a loud bellowing yawn as he watched the battle lazily.

To slay a god [Zell] Empty Re: To slay a god [Zell]

'Its time I got a little serious myself.” he muttered as yancey would leap at him, slamming a boot into an arm that shot up to meet it, being pressed against the wall of a deep blackened canyon as he prepared to deflect the assualt of the weapon the he wielded. However each attack was barely deflected, leaving small cuts along Raziels flesh as he attempted to keep up with Michael's attacks with Misanthropy, which seemed to hold a far greater amount of force behind them. The ethereal male landed against the edge of the darkness filled crevice as he glared towards where Silus was, eyes noticing the dark energy that was coursing through his body and shaking his head.

”I guess I have been letting this go on for too long.” he muttered as Ultima energy would wrap around his blade as Raziel would shoot into the air with an inhuman speed. Michael would follow suit, wielding the blade with both hands, two powerful weapons meeting with a loud boom as energy would spark off from them. ”Lets say we get this done with.” Michael muttered as energy would begin to envelope his weapon, dark ethereal doing the same for raziels. With a great push, the winged ethereal would slam a foot into Michaels side and disengage as the male would begin to fall towards the ground. However within an instant what appeared to be silver wings would form upon his back, bright in color as they would flap and within an instant they would propel him into the air.

The next moment they would both become blurs, moving through the air in the form of bright lights, and when this ended raziel would end up flying through the top of the temple that Silus sat within. The roof would collapse, force of the impact enough to create large cracks that ran along as Michael landed, moving through the hole as the silver wings would flex for a moment. 'I wonder...how long can you keep that up.” Raziel muttered, large cuts decroating his body and face showing what apepared to be burn damage. He would sweep away the rubble around him with a large wing as his own energy would sweep through the temple. ”Even if you kill me, you've signed your own death warrant.” He muttered with a low chuckle as if it were a joke within itself. With a swift motion, he would spin releasing a powerful burst of energy that was meant to destroy the temple and everything within it.
