"If it had been anyone else..." Yamm scowled before stepping forward. Salone was a hunter, but back then her reflexes were likely still less than his. True, both he and Salone had grown, but he didn't anticipate much to get past him. With lighting fast reflexes and speed he'd latch out, grab the barrel of the shotgun, squeeze and bend the barrel up, obstructing any form of use from the weapon.

"Trust me Salone, that's the last person you want to shoot. Because one day you'll realize what you've done and you will NEVER forgive yourself." He said, Matt and Yamm both settled into sync now as he looked to Artemis. Artemis was then suddenly trying to jump on Salone like a dopey, retarded puppy. They're better off without us. Just let them go. Matt said, contemplating the fact that Salone was gone, and Artemis ruined him. Honestly he was literally the pull of a trigger away from suicide...then he pulled that trigger...then remembered he was a dragon and the bullet wouldn't do much. But Artemis and Salone were pretty much the original duo there. Nothing bad happened until the Primordial of Chaos appeared. They would have found a way to make her better...sick or not. But why? But the answer was simple. Because Salone was a kind, gentle person who protected the weak. She was a hero. What was he? A vengeful soul who wanted nothing more than revenge. He just so happened to fallen love all over again. Look what that got him. He caused pain and bad things to the ones he loved most.

Because She's the hero. We're the Villain. Matt thought as he sighed audibly. Alone would likely have much to say, but Matthew was far too crestfallen to even care if she were mad...or if she tried to hurt him even. All he knew was that not only did he want revenge on Ba'al, but he wanted revenge on Artemis. Both forms of Revenge he would be denied. One because of his own foolishness to trust someone. The other...because it was sparing someone he loved even more torture.

"Artemis, give her some air...and some personal space. She doesn't even remember you ya dumb-as-trick mark." Matt said, remembering Salones dislike of profanity in the dead middle of it and quickly altering his word with some skill.

Salone felt the gun get yanked up and successfully out of her hands. Making an extraordinarily mom sounding noise of exasperation, she turned with her hands on her hips to face Yamm.

You honestly think I was going to shoot her?” Salone arched an eyebrow in a typical face that meant she was preparing to sass Yamm to death before-

“Ahurrggg!” Salone danced away from the licking Artemis. Only to dance into Yamm who she jumped away from and then proceeded to wrap her arms protectively around herself and stare wide eyed at the two people before her. Hanna watched all of this with a bizarre yet intense desire to laugh. What actually caused her to laugh was when Salone blinked at Matthew in confusion and asked, very seriously, “dumb-as-trick mark? Really?”

Hanna covered her mouth and tried to stifle the giggling. Yup, there was Salone in her caught off guard glory.

“Who are you people anyway? And what do you mean by ‘don’t remember?’”
Uh-oh.

“Well we're friends of yours, I'm Hanna and you've met Artemis,” Hanna nodded in Artemis’ direction and she looked at Matthew at a loss for words… she honestly had no idea how to introduce him… Did he want Salone to call him Matthew or Yamm? The dilemma of having two names. She should just call him Matty and get it over with.

Artemis tumbled to the ground as Salone jumped away from her. Artemis laid face down in the dirt for a bit before popping up again, watching the others talk. Artemis shifted into a wolf and nuzzled against Salone's leg like a pet dog before sitting down next to her. She let out a yawn as her tail wagged, resting her head against Salon's leg while looking up at her. Although something Hanna said cause Artemis to shift back into a human for a moment.

"But Hanna you aren't her friend your her pup." said Artemis with a confused look on her face. She shifted back into a wolf and laid on the ground at Salone's feet. Artemis tail wagged slowly back and forth. Obvious to what might happen with that she just said.

Yamm looked to Artemis and rolled his eyes. The dumb girl didn't know when to shut her mouth. It was times like this that he wondered why he hadn't severed all ties with these people. They were ore of a headache and heartache than anything else. "Artemis... you'd have a better time finding a mate if you never spoke. Your stupidity and lack of subtlety is a great repellant." Yamm muttered as he shook his head. He crossed his arms and attempted to literally neglect the fact he didn't introduce himself.

"Last I knew you didn't like profanity...it's been a while so I had to catch myself. Sorry if I'm not perfect. As you're so quick to remind me." He said, a little venom concealed in his voice. Salone not having her memory might not let her have the insight, but Hanna and Artemis might realize it. "I'm sure you've got questions... I'm sure Hanna would be delighted to answer them." Yamm said before he looked to Hanna and nodded. He glared at Artemis as he turned to walk for the exit. He'd probably go sit on the bus bench just outside and wait. Probably let himself cool off so he didn't rip out Artemis' stomach through her eye socket.

"Matthew," Hanna sighed. He was pretty touchy about Salone and when it came to her mom, he behaved more like a teenage girl than she did.
Salone stood stalk still, not quite sure what had happened. The young man was clearly very upset with her.... and Salone had no idea who he was. Then suddenly he was out the door leaving her with Artemis And Hanna.
"Um," was all Salone had to say before Artemis butted in, commenting something that had to do with Hanna being her child. Salone stiffened. She did not have any kids. She couldn't have kids.
"No," Salone said as Hanna rounded on Artemis, very much desiring to turn her into a throw rug then and there. "I'm very much not the person you're looking for. Gotta be a mix up."
With that Salone bolted out the door, anxious to get away. However, she stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Matthew. An overwhelming desire to apologize hit her as well as a chance to explain her actions. But her burning desire to get away from the crazies In the cafe overwhelmed it quickly and all she said was a quite and very terrified "sorry" before turning on her heal and running as fast as her legs could carry her, medallion burning against her skin.

Artemis looked confused at Hanna and Yamm. Did she do something wrong? Artemis' ears folded back as a response to Hanna's evil glare. Artemis was trying to figure out what she did wrong. And then Salone ran. Artemis jumped to her feet, ready to chase after but something stopped her. She looked Hanna and tilted her head to the side, as if to ask why Salone had run. She didn't stand still for long as she started to sniff the ground to pick up Salone's scent. After two moments Artemis bolted off, unsure if the other two would follow.

Artemis wasn't able to catch up to Salone on the ground however, she had shifted and took to the skies. It was much easier to she her from up here but Salone did get surprisingly far on food without any help. Landing on the the ground next to her and changing back into a wolf Artemis ran along side Salone, looking at her in confusion.
