The Bird and the Hunter Empty The Bird and the Hunter

Post by liuxess May 20th 2014, 2:10 pm

As soon as the sun’s light reached Bird’s eyes, the boy woke up. He was sleeping in the street again. His arms were burning once again, due to a wound he received in a recent battle. But he still had his fifteen dollars from that time, keeping it as a memento of that strange little kindness he was showed that day.  He wasn’t even sure, if you could call that kindness, maybe the guy just wanted to be left alone..?

But even so, Bird hasn’t seen many people like that while travelling around the world. It looked like everyone is controlled by greed these days. Greed and power…

Bird looked at his left, where he knew he would find his sword lying. He lost it while swimming in a lake the previous day, but his sword always returned to him in the morning.

He slowly reached for him, while his hearth was starting to beat faster. As always, the moment Bird touched his sword, he was filled with sadness and pain, but also with a strange pleasure and amusement.

Why…” he asked “Why do you always return? Can’t you leave me at least for a day? What is the bond between us?"

The sword, like reacting to what Bird was saying, reflect the light of the sun to the boy’s eyes, with the black words “Killing is a Killer’s fate – Killing Fate”on it looking more sharp than always.

The kid slowly stood up, waiting for his muscles to wake up. Did a few punches and slashes in the air. He felt like he would be ready to fight and kill anyone, but he knew that was only sword provoking him.

What should I do today?” He wandered putting his cowboy hat on, to hide red eyes. “I should go tree climbing in the park? I love how elders shout that kids these days have no manners…

The Bird and the Hunter Empty Re: The Bird and the Hunter

Post by Samael Christensen May 20th 2014, 2:40 pm

Ryan clicked his tongue twice, rubbing the sleepiness from his eyes as they fell upon the ceiling above him. It was white, and smooth with a singular fan hanging from it. This fan rotated until it was a blur, four blades pushing cold air down upon him and allowing it to circulate through the room, keeping him cool on an otherwise warm day. The ethereal was dressed rather casually at the moment, wearing only pink boxers with comically large hot dogs emblazoned upon them, ones that his twin had picked out for him once and that their Irish father had joked about. A knock came at his door, Ryan rolling from the bed and landing upon his feet, answering the door; which was Aaron with a rather annoyed expression. Something about seeing his twin in almost nothing did not faze him, as he cocked an eyebrow and sighed. ”What?” He questioned with the pronounced Irish accent.

”I was just wondering if you wanted to like hang out at the park or whatever.” He would ask shaking his head. ”But it seems I woke you from an important….nap.” With that he closed the door and Ryan sighed, before turning around and working on getting dressed, pulling on a simple light pink tank top and light blue shorts, what one would call the usual fashion for the male. He styled the slightly messy blond mop on his head and with shoes he was more than ready to go out, probably enjoy the day. Leaving his room, he came face to face with his twin, someone that looked exactly like him but with an intense expression, as well as a more defined muscle tone.

”Alright, we can do whatever.” He noted with a smirk as Aaron rolled his eyes and the two left the mansion. They bumped into the mutual father Brandon, though that went as usual, the goofball hugging them before pillaging the kitchen for food. ”So….how do ya feel about being stuck in the past?” Ryan ventured to ask, drawing an annoyed sigh from his twin as he massaged the bridge of his nose.

”It’s really weird. I wasn’t expecting to be thrown into the past, or any of this.” He muttered a little annoyed, sun high in the sky. It was a beautiful day, but in a prevalent metahuman city, it could only be this way for so long. The two reached the park within half an hour, walking along the concrete sidewalks as they talked.

The Bird and the Hunter Empty Re: The Bird and the Hunter

Post by liuxess May 20th 2014, 4:03 pm

"Yeah, I should probably do that..." Bird talked out loud to himself, tying up the sword to his belt on the left side. "Maybe I'll be able to kill; I mean, scare some joggers in the morning?"

He moved around a little more and yawned. It's hard to sleep in the street with all the noises around, but Bird was used to it.

"I wonder... Would I be able to travel around the Earth with out resting?" He wandered walking towards the park. "Maybe at least around the sun? I mean how big can that tiny ball in the sky be?"

His brains started working, as he remembered hearing stories that deny each other. That the sun is spinning around the center of the universe, The Earth... That the sun is only a very Shiny God that watches over humans... Even that it's a star like those we see in the night, and it's much bigger than Earth itself.

"Nah, impossible..." Bird decided. "If sun is a star, then why don't we see other stars in daytime?"

As he passed through crowds in the street, didn't think anything, but the moment he saw the park's tress, his good emotions rose.

"I do feel like it's a great day today..." He thought "The sun is up and the park is near!"
