Playing at the Park (open)

A boy woke up atop a roof in Chicago. He stretched and yawned. He got to his feet feeling the wind blow past him. He looked down at the crowded city below through his visor. He vaguely remembered there used to be fewer of these places full of tall buildings, but maybe that had been a dream too. Where was he again? Oh that's right.

His memories of the previous day came back to him. The Womb had ended the Legion for good. So much for that. Part of him had been relieved because of the direction the club had been going in, but it had left him not knowing what to do so he had flied aimlessly until he grew tired and landed here. He let out a groan realizing that had been real. He had honestly felt like he had made friends like himself and gave himself more of a purpose.

Now he'd just have to find something new. Looking down he caught sight of some sort of small tower with water flowing over it and...people's faces appeared in it!? Curiosity got the best of him and he flew in and landed before the Crown Fountain. Then suddenly the face spat on him!

“Hey!” He protested playfully to the fountain letting out a laugh thowing his hands in front of his face in a vain attempt to block the water. Great, now he was soaked. At least his helmet kept his hair dry. He'd just have to dry off. It would get cold if he flew so he'd have to run. Looking around Millennium Park it seemed to be alot of fun. He'd have to try and come to this place more often. The child hero whipped some of the water off his visor so he could see clearly.

The sun was bright and Lily was feeling up today too. Finally back in her hometown. Sure, she had spend the majority of her life in Atlanta, but that didn't nessesarily mean she was a nobody here. She been at Chicago for a long time. Returning to the wonderful city and being able to join a new place was a huge bonus.

Even if it meant Grant and daddy living nearly across the state. But she had her mom-who had also grown up here-and their golden retriver. And it also meant a day to enjoy the place before the hero side took over. Sometimes it was great to be a normal gal. That was why she had specifically requested to be dropped off here.

She got up from the grass she had been sitting on and began to walk around the place.She couldn't believe this was happening.

Then she saw him. The boy in the green coustume. Lily rubbed her eyes a little. Was this really happening? Was it all a dream? But there he was. Her mind began conflictin.g. If Peter was to be here, then the Legion of womb would be here too, right? But why was he all alone......and drenched?

Carefully treading behind his tail she stopped only inches before him and touched his shoulder.

“Miracle boy?”

Miracle Boy froze with excitement when he heard a familiar voice. He spun around with a look of glee on his face.
"Dr-" He barely stopped himself relalizing she wasn't in custome.
"Lily!" He corrected himself without losing any of the strength in his voice. He had been so long since he had seen her. Part of him wanted to hug her but he had far to much pride for that. He remebered her leaving on bad terms. But he could fix that now.

"Where have you been!? Haven't seen you around." He asked curiously if only to have something to say. Maybe they could be a team together. He already could see them as a team.

“You come here often?” He continued to ask curious if she know about this place. Why hadn't she told him sooner?

“Chicago's my hometown. I came here with my mom. I found a new superhero group that's being formed. it's my last day of being lost in the dark world today,”Lily responded.
“i couldn't tell you because i had no way to tell you. You knwo-because of the Legion. By the way, where are they? Aren't you supposed to be breaking in some bank right now?” she asked. A hint of anger was in her voice. Not too much. A hint. Well, that's what she hoped.
She had no regret leaving that team. But it had been sad to ditch a friend who had lasted for barely hours. Until now.............she hoped. Maybe they could be friends even if the Legion got in their way.

Miracle Boy listened intently. She had come with someone named mom? But then came the good part. A new superhero group!? His face really light up with that though.
“Really!? Where are they!?” He demanded curious. He already saw himself leading into battle against the forces of evil. It would be awsome!


His smile faded when she mentioned the Legion of Womb.
“Womb messed it up. He disbanded the Legion because he couldn't run it right. All he ever did was rant. If I had been in charge it would have been perfect.” Miracle Boy explained slightlty annoyed at the memories that this conversation was bringing back. If only he could forgot that.

“But that's all over. Why don'tcha take me to this new group. I can show them how to be real heros!” He stated loudly before the wind blew again causing him to shiver.
“By the way, you got a towel?” He asked slightly embaressed.

“They're getting us together today. But i think they're more professional. At least, that's what i heard,”Lily said. She stared up at the sky.
“Since the Legion is gone, maybe you can join it with me,”

“It'd be fun. I don't think a lot of people my age will come. Here, let me fix you up. Without a towel,”she grabbed his hand. The water began to sort of......drain out.

“My powers. It's not like a big fluffy towel-unless if you want one made of water-but it stil gets you dry,”
soon it was quite dry. She smiled. Her powers were increasing with painstaking slowness......at last.

“You bet!” The boy replied without hesitiation. He just wanted to get to see them already.
“Just lead me to them!” He added eagerly.

He paused when she grabbed his hand. He felt the cold water slid off of him. He looked down at himself to see not a drop of water left.
“Now that's cool.” He admitted with suprise.

OOC:Dunno. In fact, Knightwatch already started and they're on their forst ever patrol. If you want I'll contact Ranger(he made it) and maybe you can jump in or something. It'd be great if Miracle boy could join.

OOC:Bright, sorry about the double post but i don't think we should let this die. I figured this would be best to notify you.

Lily laughed.
“I'll try to ask the guy who got us all together,” secretly she didnt think the guy wouldn't welcome him in with open hands-why esle would he have contacted them seperately?-but kept her thoughts to herself.
“Say-why don't we move somewhere a little nicer to talk a bit more?” she scanned the surrounding and spotted a cafe. Maybe she could drag him along tot hat place and learn about the specifics of the Legion's disband. And -fof course-tell her own story if he asked for it.
