Instinct and Intuition
A boy wished her good that was standing next to her on the platform. She did not raise her umbrella in order to see his face, but she mentioned a situation where they had met. At the moment she could not recall where or when they had met, but she was sure that if she had taken a look at his face he would at least appear familiar. A voice over the loud speaker instructed that the fighting would now commence. Millenia had been paired with someone named 'Skyler'. Man, Woman, Alien or even human she didn't know, but she could see that the other participants were being teleported away to probably start their own matches. A red light outlined her body and she began to feel a slight tingling sensation, she closed her eyes and when she opened them she had been transported to a completely different area. It seemed like hundreds of miles away. She gave her body a little shake as the teleport felt a little awkward. It had been a technological teleport rather than a magical, magical teleports are always so much more comfortable.
Ms.Murcielago took in her surroundings making a 360 turn. She opponent was no where in sight unfortunately. She sighed and began walking. As she saw more of the area, different signs and land marks she started to recongnize their arena. It was Chernobyl. There was a light dusting of snow on the ground which seemed to have settled recently as it was still snowing. There was cloud cover so the sun was not out, however it did pierce the veil in small areas. The snowfall was extremely peaceful. The flakes floated slowly to the ground and joined the others, shifting slightly whenever there was a breeze. Even though it was snowing, it was not too cold. Chilly yes, but it was nothing she would not be able to stand in for a while. However dark the history of this city might be, Millenia found scenery to be relaxing. Since her opponent was nowhere to be found at the moment she figured that she would continue her self tour of the abandoned city.
Millennia had found her way to a particularly depressing part of the village. It was a little park that seemed to be close to the outskirts of the city. There was a set of swings and monkey bars that were broken and rusted away by time and radiation. There were a couple of 'springy' animals that children would ride, however it was difficult to make out what they had been all those years ago. As she walked around the playground she tread very carefully, her platform sandals lightly crunching against the snow. She was not necessarily hiding from her opponent, but she did not want to give away her position right away. The snow was beginning to slow, the flakes were smaller and further apart. Millenia found a bench that she sat down on the far right of looking off at the distance back at the destroyed city. Looking to her left her heart sunk as she saw a tiny stuffed animal that had been abandoned by a child decades ago. It was a little rabbit, or what was left of one. It was missing the lower half of its fluffy body. More than likely taken by an animal. She took it in her hand and looked it over, but then she heard something and immediately looked up from the stuffed animal. Her eyes darted back and fourth looking around to see if her opponent had found her or not. Millenia had absolutely no idea what this 'Skyler's" powers, personality, or fighting style was like so she needed to be on a higher alert. She put down the bear and got back to walking around.
Millenia was now on an open stretch of road with a couple buildings to her left and many trees to her right. It must have been a highway of some sort before, but to her right now it was the best hiding spot. In plain spot. This way her opponent could make any major sneak attacks from range. She readjusted the position of her umbrella as the wind had changed causing the snowflakes to hit her on one side. Things would hopefully heat up soon as the slight cold was getting to her with what she had on currently. Kimonos had not been designed with winter in mind.
Millenia let out a sigh as she continued down the middle of this barren road, glancing behind her she saw the footprints she had been leaving. It was not snowing enough for them to be covered up. SHe put her hand on the hilt of the sword hidden in her umbrella and prepared herself physically and mentally for an encounter.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
The announcer was loud, annoying, but handsome. She kept her face stone cold, and let her silver irises flit from each opponent to the next. She was eager to get this over with. She half wanted to throw the match. Her eyes surfed the crowd, and she was greeted with the annoying stare of Franklin Salters. Why was he sitting there? Why? Shaking her head slightly, she adverting her gaze and closed her eyes, allowing the red light to wash over her and turn her body into atomized particles. This process would send her miles and miles away to a remote location. She was planted, softly, on both feet. The wind rushed passed her, enveloping her leathery coated skin. Her suit, a neck to ankle to wrist full body Dominus Grade I armor was coating her. A simple bullet proof casing. It wasn't much protection, but it was also a nice weather proofing suit. It kept her warm. Not that hypothermia would ever penetrate her skin. "Good to see you again.. Chernobyl.." she mutter, the crisp late winter, early spring air tickling her nose.
She blinked, her oddly pale eyelashes flicking away the snow flakes that tried to stick to them. She could see her breath, hot on the chilly air, fogging in front of her before dissipating into the soft snow flurries. She watched as small zephyrs rolled across the road she started to follow. She wasn't eager to fight yet, but there were robotic flying cameras watching her. Watching her opponent. She could.. if she wanted.. take one of those cameras and use it to her advantage. And she would. Taking out her Higpoly Revolver, she took aim at the camera and shot. Two bullets went soaring to bring the camera down. She had shot out the propellers. It would make for a good use. Whoever was monitoring this fight would be very upset that they just lost a camera angle, but another flying spy came to replace the old one in due time. Hunching down on one knee, Skyler made quick of the machine. She redirected the radio frequency and allowed Aiva access to the motherboard.
Smirking slightly, she was satisfied with her makeshift work. Testing the new camera, she spoke. "Hello," she said, and the camera echoed her voice back. Nodding with satisfaction, Skyler started to stand. She then saw a set of foot prints that were not her own. Standing still, she breathed in through her nose. Any spells that were not the apocalyptic smells of Chernobyl would be easily distinguishable. After roughly thirty seconds of deep nose inhales, and soft mouth exhales, she found the scent. It was faint, but it was feminine, and new. It did not belong here. It was her opponent. She had no idea which woman it was from the room of fighters, but it was one of the oriental women or the mousy girl. Assessing her situation was easy, and she followed the foot prints, letting her feet fall into the others before branching off into the trees to her right. She moved quickly, but quietly. Years of military training making her foot falls light, and almost unheard, even by the most trained ears.
It wasn't long until the wind carried the scent more heavily, and Skyler could see, what looked like, a lone figure up ahead. She wouldn't attack yet.. but she would scare her opponent. It would, hopefully, keep Dominus tricked into thinking Dr Karma is a psychotic nymphomaniac that loves to play games. Setting up the radio loudspeaker she fashioned from the camera, she left it near the edge of the road, and cranked up the volume. Aiva's installation, and the added camera projected the holographic image of Skyler. Well, it was really Aiva in Skyler's attire. Standing in place, just behind of Millenia, Aiva then spoke; but it was Skyler speaking from the forest, tucked behind of a tree. Her eyes were glued to her wrist computer, seeing through Aiva's holographic eyes. "So you must be my opponent.." she started. "I hope you love playing games." she chuckled, cringing on the inside after saying that.
It wasn't fun playing a sheep in wolf's clothing.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
"Oh winter, how you betray me..." Millennia said casually as she turned slowly to face her opponent. She slightly raised her eyebrow being met with just a projection of who she was to be facing. Millennia figured that her footprints probably led her right to her. Oh well, it was about time things got started. Asking if Millenia liked to play games sounded like a bit of a twisted question to her honestly, maybe her opponent was twisted. She had never met her, whoever she is she must be smart if she has access to holographic imaging technology.
"Heh, sure, we can play a game. Hide and go seek?" She said in response to her question.
After, she looked around and scanned her surroundings while doing her best to keep the hologram in sight. She had to be ready for everything and anything, even an hostile hologram. Looking to her left she saw the abandoned buildings, there was one directly to her left so there was quite the possibility that she was hiding in there. Although Millennia did not see any sort of light shining from a window and she high doubted that this image was being projected from through a solid concrete wall. She knew that there was nothing behind her as she had been walking the length of the road way facing in that direction this entire time. The only thing that was in front of her was the picture of her opponent. There did not appear to be any sort of technology on the ground that was projecting the image or sound of her. Taking a quick look up there was also nothing. The occasional camera fly by broadcasting the images of their conflict to viewers world wide, but nothing out of the ordinary that would hint to projecting an image. The only place left was to her right, the trees and bushes that lined the road.
Keeping her head forward, her eyes moved far to the left of her head to examine what she could of the bushes. She did not see anything immediately, but there was no where else that her opponent could be hiding. Her gaze moved back to the hologram.
"Let the games begin." Millennia said as she held up her right pointer finger and a light green light glowed at the top of it. She turned her body towards the foliage and pointed her finger in the same direction.
"Nihilium."
Millennia unleashed a powerful beam of magical ki energy from her finger. She pulled her hand from the far right until her arm was crossing across her body to the left. The blast had a very broad range as it tore through the trees and bushes, even digging down into the ground, hopefully bringing her opponent out of hiding. Even if this girl came out of this unscathed, her hiding spot along with potential cover would have been reduced to ash.
After Millennia's attack ceased she returned her right hand to the handle of her umbrella preparing herself for whatever came next.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Patience was on her side. Skyler, calmly, watched her opponent and overlooked her whole person through Aiva's eyes. The constant glitches were annoying, but it was just enough time to look over the oriental woman. Kimono, fitted with lovely ornaments, and what looked like a fancy satchel. Platform sandals. All the fixings of an oriental woman. Keeping her attention on her wrist computer was keeping her attention from everything else. It was troublesome, and dangerous for her, but she took just a few seconds off of the wrist computer to take notice of everything else. When her eyes returned to her wrist computer, the holographic Aiva started to glitch out, and a small fire started in the robotic device projecting the hologram. Hissing distaste, Aiva stepped forward and then vanished, the little machine smoking massively just before an attack was administered to the trees that Skyler was tucked in for safety. For her hidden place. "Dr Karma, it seems the projector we were using has taken a swan dive to death. Shall we make our presence known?"
"Not yet.." she said, keeping her eyes open, and fixed on the oriental woman on the road. The wind carried her words. 'Let the games begin.' And with a wicked smile, Skyler stood and started to make her way forward. The snow crunched under her weight, and a few twigs snapped, too. A howling wind rolled to cover the loud foot falls. And then the oriental woman decided to play on the offense. With a powerful elemental beam coming toward her, hacking through trees, Skyler's reflexes sent her into a series of flips to get her out of the forest and on the concrete. Rolling out of a front flip, she slowly stood to her feet, standing roughly twenty feet from Millenia. "Impressive.. can you read my magic levels, too?" she asked, smirking while she flexed her fingers. This would be fun.
"Show me what you've got." she said, keeping her eyes on the woman in front of her.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Millennia gave a smile when she saw that her opponent had come out from her first onslaught. This would at least be a good fight, that much she could tell for sure. She closed her umbrella and moved it to her side and drew the sword hidden within it.
"Here we go..."
Millennia moved the umbrella in front of her body and opened it up again, the edge of it just barely covering her mouth. Lux Lunade. she mouthed as a green javelin was created inside the hollow shaft of the umbrella. Following, she threw her umbrella into the air to draw her opponent's attention for just a slight moment. It was a disposable piece, and if it made it threw this she would retrieve at some point for later use. Millennia took a stance and charged head on towards her opponent aiming to impale her with her sword. Judging by her actions earlier avoiding such an attack would be completely effortless, the distance between the two was rather short and she closed the gap as quickly as she could. Millennia activated her intangibility once she was close enough and passed right through her opponent. Hopefully the unexpected lack of contact would surprise her opponent and she would be able to catch her off guard with her next attack.
The instant that Millennia finished passing through, she solidified herself and spun around violently aiming to deeply cut the woman's back. Whether she made contact or not, she would jump further back to put at least 50 feet in between the two of them. The wind should carry her umbrella a few feet closer to her opponent, if Millennia got lucky this girl might pick up the umbrella out of curiosity. If so, she would set off her javelin in a powerful magical explosion to possibly cause some damage. If not, she would just have to wait until she got close enough for the blast to do some damage.
Millenia stood with her blade at the ready in case of a counter attack. This girl was smart and could expect that she would not be taken advantage of so quickly. However Millennia Murcielago herself was not to be underestimated.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
The wind was curling in, the clouds thickening to send down a thicker blanket of snow. The flakes were larger, but still soft. As they landed on Skyler, they melted a few moments later, not having time to stay stuck to her warm body. Flurries were sent her way, a harsh wind arching against her form. She held her ground, however, her gaze never leaving the woman. Searching for the profiles she had only seconds to glance over before the matches began, she matched the face with the name. Millenia Murcielago. Five feet and six inches. Roughly one hundred and fifteen pounds. Petite frame. Hispanic; Spanish, to be more precise. Keeping her eyes transfixed on Millenia, Skyler let her tongue curl over the back of her teeth. She took one second, one tiny second, to follow the umbrella upward. She caught the slimmest glimmer of green glowing light. It was curious, but she paid no mind to it. Her eyes were back on her opponent; her petite opponent.
The sword was a nice touch, especially since it's sheath was now being blown North east of them. The snow was thick now, a soft fog rolling in along the road. Their footprints would refill moments after being laid down, now. To prove that, Skyler took a step to the right just before Millenia came forward. This would prevent the woman from completely passing through her middle, but actually passing through her left side. The wind was cut as Millenia made to slash at Skyler's back. The Dominus Grade I battle armor proved sturdy when the blade just slashed through the corset Skyler wore, leaving a gash in the cloth. However, the battle armor was mostly in tact. A shallow gash that barely cut through the Kevlar coating. The wind switched directions now, picking the umbrella up and carrying it back to rest next to Skyler. It was a few feet away, and with a closer examination, she saw the green glow again. It was not a good sign.
She, with a moment to react, she sprung herself into back hand spring, using one arm to boost herself back to her feet. In the process of flipping, she drew her Higpoly revolver and squeezed the trigger, sending two bullets, simultaneously. They flew with precision, making to tear through the handle of the umbrella. Little did Skyler know what Millenia's umbrella was capable of.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Her opponent shifted to the side and Millennia only passed through her left instead of her center like she had originally planned. Fortunately she did make contact with her sword, however the armor that her opponent was wearing was tough enough that the cut did not reach her body. Regardless there was now some space between the two of them. Millennia could tell that she was in fact a very seasoned fighter just judging by her stance. Meanwhile, her umbrella had gently floated down next to this girl. The snowfall had picked up, the additional weight must have caused it to fall to the ground faster. Before Millennia had even had the chance to give the command for the javelin's self-destruct her opponent had already pulled a gun and was ready to shoot. She fired twice and tore open the umbrella shaft revealing the weapon hidden inside. Millennia quickly set off the explosion, hopefully before this woman saw what it was that he had put in her weapon.
The blast indented and cracked the ground, but was not powerful enough to create a full on crater. Dust and debris was thrown up from the blast temporarily concealing her position. Skyler, as she was called. Remembering her name from the announcements. Whoever she was, she was good and Millennia would have no time to take it east on her. Whether she had taken damage from the blast or not was irrelevant at this moment, she needed to focus on pinning her down and wining this match. The dust started to settle and Millennia sprinted towards a shape that started to appear looking like Skyler. She threw her Sword straight at the figure hoping to move them outside of the dust cover. Being inside the debris fog, they would only be able to see Millennia's figure as well giving them significantly less time to react to her blade coming at them. The next location that they appeared, if anywhere, mattered not as Millennia only needed the temporary mental distraction. She extended her arm and casted the spell she called 'Percutiet'. It would outline Skyler's body in a dim red light, normally it would completely restrict her movements, but since she was moving while trying to keep the spell active it would only slow her movements dramatically.
Once Millennia was within proper range of Skyler, which for her was roughly 45 feet, she drew nine green circles with her fingers in front of her person. By the time the ninth circle was drawn, the red light around her opponent had faded away giving her control of the majority of her movements. However it may have been too late for her to make an evasive move.
Millennia extended both her hands forward, her palms facing out and commenced her attack.
"Multiplex Adversasque Orbes!"
The nine circles reverberated out with a crushing power in an impressively large range aiming to knock her opponent far back and inflict a heavy amount of damage to her person. She prayed that it would be enough to keep her down long enough to physically pin her to the ground.
Once Millennia's attack concluded, she would make a dash towards her sword that was now stuck in the ground. She had tried to angle her attack so that it would blast Skyler away from her sword. Though even if her attack did not make as much contact with her as she would like, retrieving her sword was still on her list of priorities and would go after it anyways.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
The bullets, so precise, tore open the handle of the umbrella, completely obliterating it. It sent shards of bamboo in every direction, and made the umbrella gyrate in protest to it's handle being torn apart. The snow was flurrying with anger now, coming down to coat them and skew their view distance. The sun was blanketed, of course, heavy clouds forcing the light out of the day. Just when Skyler was about to react to seeing the green javelin, she was too late.. An explosion erupted from the glowing green weapon and she was sent hurdling backward. She landed with a sharp 'oof' passing her lips, the bun her braided hair was wrapped in becoming loose, sending the long braided tail snaking down her back. She bounced on the concrete, the ground shaking while it formed a sharp indent. The dust and debris coiled around of Skyler, preventing her from seeing anything. She summoned Aiva to be her eyes.
"In front of you; coming at roughly thirty miles an hour," Aiva said in a slightly calm voice.
Skyler moved, with her superhuman reflexes, and grabbed for the object coming toward her. It was Millenia's blade. She grasped at the correct second, her hand fumbling, though, on the hilt. She held on tight, the force almost dislodging her shoulder. She moved, once the debris was starting to clear, to her feet and looked frantically. Well, more so quickly than frantically. Her heart beat was a bit rapid, but she would be fine. Taking just a few milliseconds to breathe, she took a step forward. She felt as if gravity had tripled around of her, forcing her to move slower. It crippled her reflexes and that was not good. Not good at all. She had a piece of shrapnel in her neck, but she wouldn't bother with it yet. No need to waste struggling passed this odd gravity around of her.
The wind blew through, curling away the debris, giving a clear view of a very pissed off Skyler. By the time the wind and snow sent the debris away, the ninth circle was drawn; and Skyler had her reflexes back. It was like a weight being lifted off of her shoulders. The blade was still in her hand, but once the blast from the new attack was sent her way, she let go of the blade and it flew from her hand to stick in the ground away from her. Using this blast to her advantage, Skyler jumped up into the air, and let herself get thrown backward. When she landed, she pulled the shrapnel from her neck, blood gushing down her front before the wound sealed shut. She licked her lips, her hand reaching to grab for her knife. It was time to play.
Rushing forward, the snow letting up gently, Skyler let out a cry to alarm her opponent. She then swept her leg up and around, making to round house kick her opponent in the head.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Millennia decided against going forward to retrieve her blade and instead remained a distance away from Skyler. She rebounded through the attack rather impressively, however when she landed she caught her pulling a piece of shrapnel out from her neck followed by a significant amount of blood. Though soon after the bleeding ceased immediately. Millennia had to take into consideration that smaller attacks might not work too well on her because of a possible healing magic, serum or ability that she might possess. Come to think of it, she took the explosion rather well. The only visible damage that she had sustained was the fragment that she had just dislodged from her neck.
She appeared to be more serious now as she grabbed for her own knife and rushing forward to her. Skyler let out what sounded like a battle cry of sorts that made Millennia take a step back. Could that have been more insight into her true abilities, or just a intimidation tactic? Either or Millennia would need to keep it all in mind just to be safe.
Once within range her opponent swept her leg upwards to try and kick Millennia in the head. To counter the attack Millennia activated her intangibility which caused her leg to pas through her body completely. Following she performed some minor gymnastics consisting of backhand springs, cartwheels, aerial flips and a lay out to tie it all together just to put some more distance in between them.
She stuck the landing.
Now with some space between them she needed a powerful attack that she could throw at her opponent before she closed in on her again. In a flash it came to her and she took a stance, sliding her foot back a little displacing some of the snow. Millennia shook off the cold on her hands from her flips earlier and threw her right arm up in the air with her index and middle finger extended. Her eyes narrowed as her focus on her opponent increased while she channeled mass amounts of power up and outwards through her fingertips. In a matter of seconds a massive orb of energy was floating only inches above her fingers. The yellow-orange glow that it gave off along with the occasional fluctuations made it appear as if she had just generated a tiny sun right above her head. Millennia wasted no time as she let out a grunt and pointed her fingers forward literally throwing the massive sphere straight at her opponent.
The explosion that the attack would cause will leave most of the buildings in their immediate area destroyed while also digging a very large crater and knocking out a number of the cameras. The blast radius was too large for Millennia to escape from so she braced herself for impact. Even with the explosion being the result of her own powers, the debris that would fly about she would still be effected by. She needed to save her intangibility for anymore close ranged attacks from her opponent and needed just to simply hope for the best from this one. It was a risky move and she would not be getting out of this unscathed, but she was determined to come out victorious in the end.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
The intangibility move was what was about to get on her nerves. Skyler growled and, attempting to keep up her facade for Dominus, she spoke. "C'mon now, babe; you don't need to waste time on foreplay with me!" she held her footing, and watched while Millenia did a series of flips and spins to make room between them. Wasting energy. Skyler was almost panting, so this moment of staring down her opponent was giving her a chance to think. "Aiva, give me something to toy with this pretty girl.." she said, mentally cringing at what she said. But, a camera had just angled in on her, and it was safer to act like her Nymphomaniac self, rather than blow her cover.
"It seems our opponent, Millenia Murcielago knows Magic. A powerful energy based magic, at that. Focuses most of her powers on creating sub explosions and dangerous destruction follows." Aiva spoke, rather calmly while Skyler kept her gaze on Millenia. The distance between them was roughly over thirty feet. Skyler, if she planned this correctly, could get this woman in a corner and use her own energy based attacks against her.. with the proper footwork, that is. Clenching her right hand, she squeezed and her knuckles cracked in protest to how hard she gripped. Aiva then spoke up. "It seems she's forming another attack. I'd run, Dr Karma."
"No kidding!" she yelled, and dashed forward, her legs moving faster than average. Her speed was not increased, but her ability to arch and move her legs were. She could dip and bob and weave to avoid oncoming bullets while she ran, her enhanced reflexes on her side. But, there were no bullets coming for her. A large energy was; and it looked like a miniature sun. When it impacted the ground, a large crater was formed, and Skyler was sent flying. She embraced the explosion and jumped, just like with the nine circles. Massive chunks of concrete blasted and hit her as she flew, bruising her tremendously. Her regeneration took over milliseconds after she was hit. Despite all the pain, she would be fine. Landing in a rolling tumble, she took a moment to just lie on her back before carefully standing up.
"Heh.." she laughed. Half of her face was torn off, her braided hair now loose, whispery strands framing her face. Her skin started to heal and regrow, her pretty face now back to normal a few seconds later. "Is that all you've got?" she asked. Her knife had lodged into the ground a few feet from her, so now it was time to use her gun. She drew the Higpoly and smiled deviously; this wolf's clothing wasn't so bad when she was angry. "Dance for me!" She cackled and squeezed the trigger three times. Six bullets came out of the weapon, arching down a straight and narrow path for Millenia. Could she dodge it? Blast it back? Or would Skyler finally do some damage; even if it were a graze wound, anything would satisfy her.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Millennia was blown backwards by her explosion, tumbling and rolling a little bit before coming to a halt on her stomach, covering her head from debris. She felt something pretty solid hit her back and she let out a shout from the pain. It was definitely going to leave a bruise, whatever it had been. Once she was sure the blast had subsided she slowly brought herself to her feet, she took a couple of steps forward just to make sure everything was okay. She stumbled a little bit and put her hand to her back as an old man would and felt where she had been struck, wincing at the pain she tried to massage the are to sooth it just a little bit before she reentered the battle.
Her opponent became visible and Millennia was almost disgusted at what she saw. Half the girl's face was gone, but it quickly fixed itself up putting new skin back into place. Millennia knew now that she would have to try much harder now to defeat her opponent, though it would be some time before she could use the spell she wanted to again. Her last attack had drained her a little bit and it showed, she had broken a sweat gathering so much energy so quickly.
Skyler's next move involved her gun, which she fired off leaving Millennia minimal time to react. Her eyes narrowed and a blast of her magic manifested and shot forward knocking the bullets away from her or destroying them completely. The blast continued forward aiming to strike her opponent, but judging by what she had seen earlier dodging this attack would be effortless. Millennia kept her hand on her back applying pressure to try and relieve some of the pain, by this point her opponent would probably notice that she was injured and would try to use that to her advantage. It would be something that Millenia herself would do. She straightened out her body, wincing a little bit from the pain, and clapped both her hands together to ready herself for Skyler's next attack. She was crafty, and dealing with someone she would not be able to harm permanently would be a challenge.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Skyler's shots were sent rapidly, but were deteriorated by some magical blast. Seeing that as an issue, she would have to find a way to punch Millenia instead. Sliding her gun into her holster, she simultaneously side stepped the energy attack. Her reflexes were beyond superhuman at this point, and she was quite impressive when it came to her skills. Skills that could be deadly if she got into close range with Millenia. "Awwee. Are you afraid?" she asked, a camera whizzing by to create a dynamic close up of Skyler's face while it finished regenerating. Back in the stadium, she assumed the crowd was screaming with delight. Franklin Salters, on the other hand, was a bit more interested in how Skyler's face was growing back when it was clear she wasn't a meta. She couldn't be a meta- not in Salt's eyes. Franklin Salters knew this woman. Knew her quite well, actually. He was glaring at the large monitor displaying Skyler's fight with Millenia. It made him angry. But, Skyler didn't care, and did not even know.
Smirking she jumped and grabbed the camera, pulling it so it was directly in front of her face. "Mama loves you," she said, a flash of motherly love shining in her eyes before she smashed the camera and tossed it to the ground. She then ran forward, the monitors back "home" displaying a fuzzy ground view of Skyler running straight for Millenia. Dust was kicked and skewed the view, but that didn't mean it was done. It didn't mean Skyler was going to stop. Not yet. she would have to create some sort of EMP to disarm the cameras so she could make an ally out of Millenia Murcielago. To buy her time, she saw this opportunity and ran passed Millenia toward the large warehouse. It was likely filled with more than just those simple cameras. Some sort of large electrical source would be there, and she could use that to create the EMP. She would just have to fight Millenia in the process.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Skyler continued to taunt her, but it wasn't a tactic that worked well against her. Her opponent seemed to being having quite the field day with the cameras, though Millennia was still interested in her ability to heal so well. Anyone else who would have been hit with such an attack at close range would surely have been killed. Hearing the "Mama loves you" comment she figured that she had something to lose, Millennia knew well that there was no killing in this tournament, but just what if she had not survived that attack...? She might have been able to live with herself after that, even if she would have been brought back my modern science or ancient magics it would still have happened in her mind. Another thought crossed her mind about this tournament, there was no killing but there was no telling what kind of personalities were participating. There might be some psychopaths that simply do not feel like following the rules and will kill just for the fun of it. Granted they would be disqualified but they would still be wondering around in the world. Which brought up another point, disqualification did not seem to bad when there was no known prize. As far as she remembered there was no prize that had been indicated from the start, however if the remaining contestants got lucky maybe they would announce one later on in the tournament.
That had been enough thinking for Millennia as her opponent came charging straight at her.
Millennia stepped back and pointed her finger at the incoming Skyler and a green light appeared on her finger tip as she was ready to fire. Just as she was about to release the blast her opponent flew right past her, not even aiming to strike her in the least bit. Millennia took aim at her again, ready to fire, but decided against it. The glow from her finger faded and she started to walk in the direction that Skyler had ran off to. It didn't seem like she was trying to lead her anywhere to trap her except for the warehouse in the background. Millennia was confused indeed, but voted against going after her inside of the building. Instead she just stood outside at a distance that she would be able to fire an attack and easily decimate the entire structure, with or without her opponent inside of it. Besides, if there were any stairs that needed climbing she was not exactly in the position for it with her back in the condition that was. She put her hand back to where the bruise was and massaged it a little bit thinking about beneficial it would be for her to create a possible healing creme for situations like this. The pain was not unbearable, however it was more so inconvenient for this situation.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Inside of the warehouse. It was filled with old machinery parts, and a lone camera was flying about. To prevent any watchers from seeing her battle, she snatched her gun from it's holster and, with only a moment to aim, took a perfect shot. The camera fell, cutting the live feed. Her guess was the person who put all the money into this tournament was getting upset. Either way, that camera was going to be the vessel for her EMP. She looked around, and then made a dash over to the camera and scooped it up. And old work bench had some rusty tools on it. She shook her head and just used her knife to pry open the camera's hull. Her hands were working fast, her mind even faster. She had the exact layout of the device in mind, now was the time to get it together. She needed some copper. Glancing around, an old fuse box caught her eye. She took long strides to reach it, her knife sliding back into it's sheathe.
She reached the box, but then the echo of foot steps reached her ears. Millenia had followed her. Just as planned, too. This woman was smart, but Skyler hoped she was smart enough to not fuck with Skyler while she worked. "So, you followed afterall.. now stay out of my way." She opened the box and let her eyes scan over the insides. Aiva finally spoke up, her holographic image popping up to sit on Skyler's shoulder. She spoke toward Millenia. "Mama just has an idea, and when she does, she likes to get it done as quickly as possible!" Skyler pulled a wire tube and was pleased it was copper wire inside the rubber casing. She hopped over the shallow railing that blocked her from stepping down onto the lower level and made way back to the table she was working at. She did not look up from her work, but she could hear another camera, and Aiva speaking up brought Skyler's attention to it.
"Why don'tcha be helpful, sugar, and take down any cameras coming this way, hm?" She asked. Her southern belle was gone, and her country accent was thick and a bit sarcastic. Now she was on her toes, working diligently. She split the wire and started her magic. Her hands moved gracefully, bending, connecting, and making this thing wonderful. It wasn't long, maybe two solid minutes, and she had a working EMP. She could hear the whirr of more cameras entering the area. She then shrugged and flipped the on switch. "This will either blow us up.. or make an EMP field around of this building." she announced. The machine then came to life, and the field worked. It wrapped around them, a good thirty feet radius from the point of origin. Smirking, she clapped her hands together.
"Now, business. You and I are on the same team. I'm a mole inside of Dominus." she would start off, blunt. The EMP even knocked out Aiva. No electronic device would work in this field. She had even impressed herself.

Re: Instinct and Intuition
Millennia made her way inside the building that Skyler had been inside to investigate what exactly she had been up to She was a little rude in saying stay out of her way, but if she wasn't trying to fight her then she was going to do as she said and not interferer. Following was a holographic personality that appeared on her shoulder and further explained the situation. Millennia heard a camera around the corner and was again asked to destroy the cameras in case any came near.
She did as she was requested and flicked a small amount of magical energy at the incoming camera setting it ablaze and causing it to fall to the ground out of commission. It seemed to be the only one for right now. Skyler then went on about the device she had just made either blowing them up or creating an EMP field. Millennia braced herself for the worst, and thankfully the latter had occurred surrounding them in a field of anti-technology.
"Now, business. You and I are on the same team. I'm a mole inside of Dominus"
Millennia's eyes widened at this news and figured if they didn't have to fight then why bother?
"If that's the case then there is no reason to be at conflict. Dominus is a terrible organization and I do applaud your bravery however I have no quarrel with them at the moment..."
She figured that this was not the best time for questions, the less she knew then the better. Who knows what kind of secrets she knew and what kind of trouble it could get Millennia twisted up in.
"If you would like, I can make a teleportation circle and I can send you to wherever you'd like as long as you have the latitude and longitude coordinates. Then I can detonate a large scale spell over an open area to make it appear as if we both perished?"
It was a quick solution, however Millennia did not know if Skyler needed to fake her death for any reason being. The offer still stood so it was up to her if she wanted to go through with it or not.
