((^So you have an idea of what area you're in.))
((Posting order will go Me, DGib, Oro, Switched. Will revise order once dominus is involved))

The Womb sat in the brush looking out toward the huge tower. It rose like a spire, signifying everything The Womb had come to oppose in this modern world. They were slightly west of the building, hiding among what little foliage the cityscape could offer. In front of them was a large road, what these Babylonians referred to as a 'freeway.' At this time of night there weren't as many cars on the road. However, it being the weekend, the road may pick up once the drunker ones decide to find a carriage home. For now though the road was more or less quiet, and from here The Womb could see the entrance to the building.

He turned to his team and crouched down, motioning them all to get in close. "Cassidey, you will be our eyes and ears, you must scale the building and find the main rooms which hold their money, files and their computers, while you are doing this you must use your higher location to alert us of any incoming threats. Acting as decoy will be myself, Garganoth and Delvar. We shall begin an assault on the entrance of the plaza. It will not take long for our enemies to arrive after this, so be prepared. During this time we must fend off all enemies until Cassidy has done away with their most precious assets, once done, Garganoth will act as demolisher and take out the buildings central support column. Upon the buildings collapse we must flee, using the debris as cover. If all goes to plan we may find ourselves back at the shack by dawn. Where we shall remain until the proverbial heat dies down. So, is all clear?" Womb motioned to the group, signalling the time for feedback.

Alright the plan seems simple. Scale the building, get into the main rooms, destroy computers and all the other important things. Now how exactly do I get to the top floor without being seen?

Cassidy looked at the large building in front of them, searching for a way inside. He noticed a fire escape running along the side of the building, and he followed it upward seeing that it reached to the last floor before reaching the roof. His eyes blinked rapidly, as his nervousness was already causing his senses to go haywire annoyingly. However, this wouldn't be a problem for him especially once entering and all hell breaks lose. He was ready for this, and had to breath slowly to keep himself steady.

Ok the fire escape seems safe enough for me to quickly get up there. Still, there might be a problem...

Cassidy turned to Womb, "Getting to the top floor shouldn't be a problem at all. It'll take me less than five minutes to get to the top if I use the fire escape. Still once I get to the top floor, getting inside could become an issue. A building like this would have to have some kind of alarm in case of a break-in. So unless you have a sort of key or something else to kill the alarms, then trouble will be coming our way quickly."

It was a small building that stood before the small band of extremists, or at least small compared to the crystalline mountain dwellings of Crystera. Compared to the other buildings around though, it was a monster. Others lived in clothing tents while this building could house half the homeless population every night. Would it be hard to install just one of those floors with beds? Would it be hard to provide the sustenance that these beings needed, even for just a handful of the thousands that lay starving and cold? Instead of ignoring these despot peoples They should focus on training them to be useful to society so that they might earn their keep. If everyone showed that kindness, than everyone could have a keep. They could share throughout the world. Just as they did at Garganoth's home. This was a saddening thought, but Garganoth was much to pumped to be going into battle to let it be bothered by that.

Garganoth let out a hearty laugh at Cassidy's comment about alarms, "I don't think the alarms you speak of will be a problem. By the time you scale the building and set off any alarms, trouble will be well on it's way by that time." Garganoth felt better than it had in a long while. For the first time since it had arrived on this planet, Garganoth was going into battle against a real foe. Garganoth stepped up, laughed once more with it's spirits high, and rushed forward. Smashing across the road and onto the common area in front of the building, Garganoth released a loud, deep roar. The sound itself was severe enough that anyone near the source would feel the very air shaking. Garganoth smashed it's hands into the ground, ripping out a large chunk of concrete and launched it at the front doors of the building. Alarms and sirens began to blare loudly.

Delvar hid next to his team as they went over the last details about this attack. He understood what was going on and was ready. It was the quiet night, the calm before the storm. Regardless of who came to stop this band, it would forever change their fates. After this, Delvar was tied to these soldiers, linked to their fates as they were to his. He could feel the moods of his comrades; anxiety, restlessness, pride. All of this was the beginning of The Legion's plans, and they were doing it without one of their members. Just as Delvar was about to ask a question, Garganoth exploded like a cannon onto the scene. "The only question I have is am I fighting to kill the soldiers that might attack us in retaliation or am I aiming to incapacitate?" Delvar quickly asked Womb as he began to charge forward after Garganoth.

"Do not worry Cassidy, the noise we create should deafen them to your footfalls. Be careful young one, remember that when in need, you should run or call on us to help you. There is no pride in battle, you do what you must to survive. I would hate to see one of my comrades fallen after this is done." Replied The Womb to Cassidy. It would only be seconds later that Garganoth charged at the building, throwing a large chunk of concrete at the plaza doors, smashing them completely and bringing in part of the structures ground floor ceiling.

Delvar was ready to follow suit but required some information first in regards to dealing with the humans. "Do what you must, and what you feel. Wanton murder is not our aim, but if your opponent leaves you no other choice, then I see no reason for you not to slay them. Remember Delvar, tis but a last resort and should be treated as such. Now go, we must make haste." With that The Womb gestured for them to move out and ran after his good friend Garganoth.

By this time a few security guards had rushed out of the security room and had alerted the police. They began to fire their pistols at Garganoth and the rest of The Legion, with little effect.

"DESTROY THEM, THEY PROTECT A GREAT EVIL OF THIS WORLD AND THEY SHALL BE DAMNED FOR IT!" Roared The Womb as he ran, more to put fear into the hearts of the guards than anything else.

Cassidy watched the events unfold around him, and quickly made his way toward the fire escape. A beating in his head became painful, as he heard the shots of gunfire coming from the guards around the building. Cassidy didn't have any concerns regarding the others' safety as he didn't think gun fire would have any effect on them. However since Cassidy was still human, gunfire was still a weakness and avoiding any bullet wound was his top priority as he quickly climbed the first ladder that set at the edge of the fire escape. Luckily, his abilities would allow him to rush up the ladders and reach the top floor gracefully and quietly as the others dealt with the first wall of security.

Next time I'm taking an elevator, and wearing a bullet-proof vest because this is getting heated in more ways than one...

It took Cassidy about five minutes before he reached the top floor. He looked back down seeing the others dealing with the security, and realized he was still unnoticed as he watched. He looked out, allowing his ears to guide him, as he heard police sirens approaching them fast. He was blinking badly now, but it only made him more focused rather than hinder him. He turned and approached the window, kicking it, breaking the glass so he could enter. More alarms immediately went off, as he entered inside.

Well so far, so good. Now it's time for operation "Search & Destroy"...

In the room he was in, there were numerous computers, desks, and cubicles. He began destroying everything he could touch, ripping up papers, breaking computer screens, throwing books and other necessities across the room. The well-organized room soon looked like a massive war zone area as everything was destroyed and heavily damaged.

Lucky me, I guess I got the easy job...

Cassidy repeated the process in every room on the floor, including causing a small fire in two of the rooms. He was enjoying himself, destroying things as if it was an art form. After damaging the last room on the floor, Cassidy entered the main hallway heading for the floor below him but was stopped dead in his tracks. At the end of the long hallway, Cassidy spotted flashing lights and heard footsteps approaching sounding like a small stampede the closer they came to him.

Yep. My fun is definitely over now... Now it's time for Operation "Be A Bad-Ass" to begin...

FOX Plaza Empty Re: FOX Plaza

Post by Elena Vexus on March 18th 2013, 9:45 pm

Mr. Paxton had been slacking lately. New MetaHumans were popping up all over the grid and he was not accounting for a single one of them. Luckily for him he had someone like Elena who had eyes at every point on the planet. Some she cataloged as dangerous, and she had tabs kept on them, others were cowards or weak so nothing would be done with them for now. One thing she for sure kept an eye on was the congregation of supers. Some maybe weak and powerless alone, however put them in a group of many and give them something to fight for they can turn out to be troublesome. And trouble some is exactly what Vexus had run into.
During a Dominus meeting in California there was a spike in activity in the Los Angeles area. With it being such a large city and a high population it was most likely that an organization would spring up there. Since Vexus could not be in more than one place at the same time, she tapped Agent Reaper on the shoulder as she was leaving the meeting signifying that she would accompany her on this. They were not far from LA and there was a helicopter available for them to take there. It had been some time since Elena did any field work so she figured that it would be good to stretch her legs just a little bit.

As the Helicopter began its approach the top of the building in Fox Plaza, Vexus increased her vision so that she may see down at ground level and scanned the area. At the moment no one was there, so maybe the gathering she had been just a false alarm. No word had been spoken during the flight to Los Angeles, after a little while longer her and Reaper landed and Vexus properly 'parked' the chopper and the two of them hoped out. Elena Made her way to the edge of the building and looked over, and in taking a closer look she saw a large slab of earth thrown into the front door of the building. She could feel the foundation shake following with Reaper joining her to look over the edge.
"It seems we have a problem on the ground floor. Would you be so kind as to..." Her voice trailed off as she put her hands on Reapers back and gave her a tough push over the edge of the building. Hopefully she would survive the fall. She seemed like a tough girl, no hard feelings.
Elena made her way to the stair well and accessed their security system. As she walked down the stairs her she got rather annoyed with the alar and remotely shut that off. Next, she looked through all of the cameras on all of the floors. The majority of the rooms on the floors had been trashed which indicated that there must have been someone else inside trying to cause some damage. Vexus scanned the floors more in depth and caught some radio frequency that spoke of someone being spotted. Luckily she had made it far enough down where she could intercept the small army of guards and take the intruder on for herself.
Their flashlights began to flicker out and their footsteps became more faint. Down the dark hallway Vexus spotted who had been destroying the rooms. It was a boy, just a young little boy. How he got sucked into this chaos she would never know. Elena's eyes glowed in the darkness as the lights flickered on back to life and revealed her form. She was in her red sparkly sequin dress with purple gloves and pink heels that clicked every time she took a step down the hallway. Vexus placed her index finger on the wall to the right of her, two thin lines of black fire emerged from that point on the wall extended behind Vexus and behind the boy.Once they reached a certain point they expanded into a wall of black fire trapping the boy. If there were any doors between the two walls of black flames they would also be covered in the blaze in order to prevent him from going anywhere at all.
"Do not think just because you are a child I am going to show any mercy... Your friends outside are probably already dead." Vexus moved her index finger from the wall and pointed it at the child.

"Resist capture and your extermination will be unbearably painful."

They had been sent on what would be a minor assignment, not one that the notorious Agent Reaper was used to being sent upon. They were minor meta humans far below the level that the #4 agent deigned to deal with, but someone like Elena Vexus had the clearance to draw her into battle; so she would not argue with the chance to go, especially if it gave her the chance to impress Paxton with her merciless efficiency. It could have also been the fact that she was one of the strongest agents present at the time, making her the natural selection when it all came down to it. Luckily Shayla already had all of her equipment ready before hand, so it was all a matter of how quickly they could move out.

The helicopter hovered high above the expansive city, its lights bringing out a certain beauty to the urban landscape, one that anyone except Reaper could have managed to enjoy. All she saw from the great city was a place full of bodies, ones that just weren't dead yet. They were informed, commanded almost to make their way to the great skyscraper that was currently under attack, Reaper adjusting the wires that traveled from the node on her elbow to the tips of her fingers, all part of a weapon that she found to be integral to her peerless power.

After a little while they landed on the building top, Reaper feeling the dull thud of her thick metallic boots against the concrete, a familiar sound that seemed to oppose the click of the heels worn by Vexus. She was the warrior in scant armor while Vexus was the lady dressed for show, but they both were capable of killing. Both took a look at the parking look on the ground level, Reaper mentally taking in everything with a glance, as if this would help her in the confrontation to come. It was of course then that an unexpected, but familiar occurrence happened, one that Reaper was far too familiar with when it came to working with Dominus.

"It seems we have a problem on the ground floor. Would you be so kind as to..." In an instant she found herself falling off the edge of the building, in a collision course with the ground. It was not the best position to be in, but Reaper was more than used to it by now, at least the height was less than the usual drop. Still Shayla could not help but feel annoyed by the abrupt, and unexpected gesture that had begun her descent.

”Damn that red head.” She muttered before hitting the ground with great force, the pavement beneath her spider webbing, and breaking slightly. A pain shot through her body, but it wasn't anything major, she would possibly have a nasty bruise tomorrow but Dominus had the medical technology to stop such injuries from even even taking shape. The albino warrior leapt to her feet from the prone position, looking towards the wrecked entrance of the building, scanning them for what would be her prey; what would be dead. There were three targets in all, one looking especially deadly, but none would stand against death incarnate.

”Hey fuck heads!” She called to the legion members before bursting into a dash, her speed easily beyond what the average human could hope to keep up with. In an instant she drew her beam katana, aiming to decapitate the skull being with one swift motion, before landing and turning to face her foes.

Garganoth had just began it's first steps of demolition when a real threat had arrived. Momentarily, Garganoth could even sympathize with the female being, knowing what that had to feel like as it had just done the same not but a few shorts weeks before. Immediately though, the being returned to it's feet, none the worse for wear. Quickly, the female dashed forward toward the group's general with a laser based sword. Garganoth reacted quickly, but would only dole out it's counter after the female had finished her first strike. Garganoth rushed forward in a full tackle, head bent down so as to protect the face, but eyes still available for sight.

The first bit of damage done, Delvar felt the adrenaline kicking in. He had just been thinking of how this was going way too well to really stay that way, when the woman crashed into the ground. Delvar reacted without thinking, holding his hand out and saying, "repeating crossbow and clip." A patch of black shadow opened above his waiting hand and spat out a crossbow with a crank on the right side, a large wooden block with the tips of seven crossbow bolts peaking out, an eighth already in place to be shot. Delvar hoped that the bolts designed to strike down a Dark-Sider with ease would be enough to take down this falling Light-Sider. As the intruder stood, Delvar immediately cranked the built on lever, firing the bolts just ahead of the woman so as to shoot where she would be. He stopped just before firing the last one as to avoid hitting his new liege, Womb. Damn this woman was fast.

((After careful deliberation, I thought the best order would go. Me, Dgib, Elena, Reaper Oro, Switched. It's just how the posting order went and it looks like it'll work, so yeah, enjoy))

Womb heard the boom of a large weight drop. Upon his instinct to turn around he found himself confronted with the image of a running woman hurtling towards him. Luckily the blade she had drawn was glowing brightly which made it easier to track its trajectory as she swiped it at him. He launched himself to the right falling heavily on the floor and only just managing to roll back to his feet. his evasion had been clumsy and looking down at his side he noticed a large gash where the tip of the blade must have caught him. Ah, so the party has arrived now. I look forward to the partaking of many wines. He watched to see Garganoth charging forwards and Delvar already reacting to the attack. Womb instinctively drew some distance, the pain in his side was dull and healing rapidly however Womb was concerned that there may have been more and wished to use himself to draw them out.

As he edged back towards the courtyard he looked up towards the building to notice that one room was smoking with orange flames licking the insides of the window. Cassedy must be in danger, there is another one of them here. I must go and protect him! With that thought Womb screamed to Garganoth; "GARGANOTH, I MUST BE PROPELLED TOWARDS OUR COMRADE IN THE TOWER, HURRY AND ASSIST ME!" The Womb did not spare on the urgency in his voice.

((you have permission to throw me by the way Razz))

Cassidy looked at the guards who had blocked his way, and were lining the hallways. He inspected each one, figuring that he could take each one of them out. The only problem with his plan was he needed to be close range to do so, and considering the firearms they were carrying it wouldn't be easy for him. Cassidy noticed they were only carrying small fire-rounds, pistols and handguns, meaning that if he timed it right he could dodge them as they took a few seconds to fire a single bullet, and handguns contained about six to eight bullets before needing to be reloaded.

Ok, well since there's eight guards I would say that I'm about to have at least 30 to 40 bullets headed my direction. Hopefully, I'm fast enough to get to them without any hits or I'm screwed... Really screwed...

Cassidy placed his right foot back, bended his knees, and rested himself firmly on heels preparing to make a fun for them. He had his hands closed into fists, close to his chest. His eyes blinked even faster, and the pounding in his head was like a hammer being blasted on the side of his forehead as he waited for them to fire. However as he stood there, he heard more footsteps and a sweet smell like that of body spray. Soon, a woman came into his view and he was awestruck seeing how beautiful she was.

Whoa... Who is this? She's in the wrong place looking like that. I mean, I was expecting things to get wild but she's taken this too a-whole-nother level... It's going to be a party but not the kind that she's expecting...

"Um lady, don't you think you should go back downstairs?" Cassidy asked, still focusing on the guards that were around her through peripheral vision.

Instead of answering him, she pointed at him and he noticed her nail-polish was already dirtying from the smoke that was slowly entering the room. "Do not think just because you are a child I am going to show any mercy... Your friends outside are probably already dead. Resist capture and your extermination will be unbearably painful." There was coldness in her voice that made Cassidy shiver, standing there.

I'm getting real sick and tired of people calling me a kid... Where is the respect? I mean, I just destroyed an entire floor of a high-security building by myself.. A little respect is all I'm asking for.

"Are you serious right now? How is anyone supposed to take anything you say seriously when you're dressing like some hooker on a corner? You supposed to be some diva-fied version of Laura Croft or something? And they say Paris Hilton was crazy. What a joke." Cassidy said, still watching the guards around her, but keeping his eyes firmly on her. As pretty as she was, he didn't know exactly who he was dealing with. Also what she said about the others being dead nagged at him, as that meant there were probably others here trying to stop them.

FOX Plaza Empty Re: FOX Plaza

Vexus could only smile. He clearly had no idea who he was talking to. If there was anyone to take seriously in this world it would be Elena Vexus..
"Oh would you look at that, the puppy has a bark!" Elena said with a dark grin. If there was anyone here who would not be taken seriously it would be the minor standing in front of her. He was out matched, out classed, and doomed.
There was a dark spark on the tip of Vexus' finger and an instant later a blast of black lightning sped forward aiming to shoot a hole straight through the boy's chest. Following the burst of lightning she extended her palm forward pushing the wall of black fire behind her forward as well as pulling the black fire wall behind the boy forward as well. The wall of fire behind her would simply pass over her, since they were her own creation the flames would not stick to her body. The two walls would converge and sandwich the child together burning him to a crisp but not killing him. The bolt of lightning shot at him would be just an additive. It moved hundreds of times faster than the fire was. If it contacted and tore a hole through his young body then she would be able to add another to the list of those she had branded with the Vexus 'V'.
Accessing the surveillance cameras from the ground floor she saw her partner Reaper taking good charge of the situation. It even appeared like she was having more fun than her. This one on one with a child was hardly fair. The three against Agent Reaper would probably not pose too much of a challenge either. No matter what way these unfortunate beings cut it, they were not going to walk out of this unharmed. They would be lucky if they even got out of this alive...

The damage her weapon had done was superficial but it was something, this guy was harmed by her weakest of weapons, which meant the more powerful ones would pack an even greater punch than that one, Perhaps she could easily dispatch them all before that red headed woman even had the chance to finish her foe, perhaps she could prove how efficient of a killer she really was. It wasn't long for one of them to charge her in a not very bright maneuver, attempting to run the albino over with what seemed to be impossible power, but she had faced a diamond foe before, she would not make the mistake of attempting to use purely brute force again.

”You need to be way faster than that.” She said with confidence obvious within the rough voice that proceeded from her pink lips. In an instant she was in motion again, using the crystalline monster of a support, flipping over it and landing perfectly on her feet, flourishing before turning her sights upon the strange being that had not too long ago been firing strange projectiles at her. He would be the first that she took down, there was no doubt about that one.

Quickly sheathing the blade, she removed one of the energy pistols holstered on her thighs, aiming it to quickly destroy the head of the otherworldly prince before she would then fire a shit off at The Womb before he could make his desperate attempt at escape. The shot would be towards his head, which would likely cause more debilitating damage than simply aiming for the leg, or the chest. The weapon had enough power to destroy a human, and even damage a superhuman opponent, so she was sure they would be able to do something.

” Like shooting doves from a tree.”

Garganoth had just been leapt over for the second time. If Womb hadn't sounded in such a hurry, it would have turned to attempt to pummel the agile female that had made her presence known. As things were though, Garganoth grabbed hold of Womb, and, taking a moment to calculate his aim to include gravity and air resistance, launched Womb's body so he would crash through the window near the black fire. After releasing Womb, Garganoth turned it's attention back to the more immediate concern.
