Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by Blacksmith January 12th 2013, 4:45 pm

After his brief intervention in his mother and his mentor's exchange of words, Eric had sat down at his chair silently. He took a good look around; he had quickly acclimatized to the room itself, but the faces in it required further inspection. Without saying so much as a word, he thoroughly inspected each single agent present, taking his time in doing so.
He had read the files on each member present, or at least the part of their files that he was allowed access to. Franklin had made sure his little 'protege', as he had grown fond of calling the young man, was well-informed of Dominus hierarchy and politics, yet always less so than Salters himself. In the end, he was after all a metahuman, one of the very same he so despised.

Agent Reaper; he knew little about her, except that she was a combat specialist, and not someone to be trifled with. Her....daring choice of wardrobe belied her no-nonsense attitude and capacity for cruelty on the battlefield. Eric glanced at her only briefly, less lengthy than at the others. It was not fear that made him turn his gaze, but the knowledge that invoking her ire, or in any way getting on her bad side would make complications arise. And he had enough of those for the time being, he decided.

Agent Ruptor, or 'Frenchie', as Reaper had apparently taken to calling him. Seemed pleasant enough. Not a man of interest, Eric thought, at least not to him. He wasn't quite sure what his motivations were, but at least he seemed loyal to Dominus. Perhaps even moreso than he. He did not worry Eric much, and his glance passed away from him almost as quickly as with the albino amazoness.

His gaze lingered on Skyler Snowden, before he managed to finally pull his hateful stare away from her. He did not want to think about her. She was one of his enemies, one of the people he had sworn to...
Time wasn't right yet. Need to play this smart, he told himself.

The well-dressed man and the soldier. Both had remained perfectly silent so far, and had a brooding animosity about them. Eric was sensitive to these kinds of things, and while he couldn't quite gauge their intentions and motivations, he had a good feeling they weren't interested in holding hands and singing koombayah around the campfire all merry-like. No, these were men of war. Men of dark purpose who would destroy everything that lay in their path....or die trying. Potential enemies, and dubious allies at best.

Salters. There was not much more to be thought about him, nor were there any more insights to be gained through further inspection of his person. Oh, Eric had spent many a thought on the man. He was his nemesis, his mentor, tormentor and protector, all in one. But as with his mother, the time was not right. Eric would not allow his thoughts to linger, not in that direction.
Eric listened as his mentor spoke, and was about to speak up himself when urged to do so, when someone else took the opportunity before him.

Agent Gossamer. Now there's a face he hadn't expected to see. By all accounts he had been given, she was supposed to be missing or dead. He wasn't quite sure. He had neglected to do his homework on her satisfactorily. It just seemed pointless to him to research someone who was no longer of any concern to him. Apparently he had been wrong, and now felt stupid for his carelessness.
She was attractive enough, in her own way. The suit turned him off, as he knew what it served for. Her speech however, forced him a small grin. This was war, and they would be doing horrible things in order to achieve their goals. He agreed with her on that. On the methods she suggested, he was mostly indifferent.

I don't really have anything to comment on your strategies." He directed his speech to Salt mostly, but made sure he was heard by the entirety of the group.
I will be working closely with the weapons development department to ensure we will be well-armed for this war. Beyond that, I fear I have little to contribute, but will of course obey any task given to me. I know my place."

Eric felt that was all he could say for now. What else was there to say? He didn't care about the war. Only about his place in it, and what its outcome would mean for him. And of course, he had plans of his own.

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by The Bolt January 13th 2013, 7:53 pm

Everyone seemed to have their own ideas upon the things that should be done with the metahumans but they were all steeped within pointless reasons, reasons that would not matter when they held the innards of their enemy within theirs hands. They probably did not know the thrill that was killing with no personal purpose, the drive to wipe out life for the simple reason to feel alive. She took life simply because it was what she did and thats what she did ever since she was a little girl. Too most she would be considered a monster that was beyond redemption but that was not what she wanted. Shayla found that she loved killing and the tougher the prey, the more pleasing their death would be.

For the most part she ignored Salters seeing as all he seemed to focus on was what could please him between his legs. If it were not forbidden she would have put him down years ago,yet she knew that she would not have that chance yet. Next came the ever so cheery Gossamer with her edict of death, claiming that this was war and that everything must die. She could see that this woman was for the most part dead inside but she would love to make the rest of her dead as well, end that silent arrogance that so exuded from her like a noxious fume.

”I agree with everyone, though I won't give any sort of plan. I'm just waiting until we finish off the meta humans and I get to kill all of you, since we are all meta humans;save the pedophiliac rapist. Honestly it doesn't matter to me if our enemies are meta humans or humans,I kill anything thats my enemy and I foresee this temporary alliance of ours shattering once the goal has been met. As for us killing children,I find no entertainment stepping on flies and even less stepping upon the maggots.” Upon saying the last line she gave Salt a glance before returning her attention to the group as a whole. This was her simple way of saying that she thought the goals as a whole were stupid but as long as she got to kill people, she would not oppose it.

She then looked upon Gossamer as her lips turned into an approximation of a grimace. ”Now that I have that out of the way, where the hell is she?” The question was sharply pointed. ”Either you,Paxton or that needle dick should know where the hell she is. Where the hell is Lila!?!” Her fist slammed hard against the table with a resounding crash that reverberated through the room. A crack ran along the length of the table that made it teeter upon the brink of falling in two. ”And don't give me this bullshit about you don't know. If anyone would know its you.”

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by Isak Zielinski-White January 13th 2013, 9:53 pm

Oh the joy of being almost unnoticed, since only Gossamer gave him attention. But, after all, he was an infiltrator and maybe all those years led him to being simply able to avoid all the attention. Or maybe because the others did not, as some of them would say, gave a damn fuck about him. Aside from this coarse language, Jordan was just sitting down in his chair and the others talked and talked and talked. True, the metahumans outside were being mischievous to a certain degree, but kiilling them all could be a little..... overboard. As comfortable as he was, when Reaper was finished talking, adding some threads in her words, Deceiver sighted and started talking.

-Well, I think we should look at this ''war'' in a logic way. Some..... events, caused the metahumans to wreak havoc in New York City, which decimated the population. Because of that, we took certain measures. But is war necessary?

He looked at those who spoke of war, and continued.

-Our country was born out of war, we could say. But is going at war on our own soil, on people who are citizens of the United States of America, really an option? Because, knowing some cranked up military, we'll look at other countries after this incident at home.

He paused for a few seconds, which became a minute or so. He thought about the next time he could add before being silent again. He spoke one last time.

-I would recommend culling in the populations of metahumans that represent a threat. Those who are productive members of the society should be left unharmed or, at the least, alive. Killing all of them is being far too hungry and we don't even know how many there are. But probably, you will do a marvelous job trying to kill all the metahumans that you'll find... as well as countless humans.

He looked at Reaper as he said those last word, as he slowly changed to the female Jordan and she simply sat in her chair, looking at the agents.

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by The Widower January 14th 2013, 1:47 am

Audrey sat and listened most of the time. He wanted to absorb all the information, and consider all the different possibilities for tactics and failures. Apparently, he had been the last agent to arrive, though that didn’t bother him too much. Audrey should have been sceptical over what all the other agents were saying and doing. Like the first girl to speak who had taken out a knife. He had tensed slightly, wanting to pull out his pistol, but decided to stay out of it and restrain himself from doing anything that could be considered ridiculously trigger-happy.

He wasn’t sure exactly what to think about the agent that spoke of seeking copulation with metahumans. The thought alone disgusted him, though he would say nothing of it. He quietly wondered if the man meant having sex and then killing the metahumans, or having sex with their dead corpses. The latter seemed like something relatively unacceptable, though Audrey had no say in judging the possible necrophiliac.

The next to speak spoke of smart ideas. He had nothing to say, really. He agreed that despite being young, metahumans would always pose a threat to society. It didn’t matter if they tried to play nice or not, if they didn’t take down all of them, they’d spawn back again and create more problems. It would be better to nip the problem in the bud and get rid of it completely, rather than letting it flourish and snip off a few petals. The statement of women being killed struck a chord in his heart. He sorely missed his wife, though he constantly reminded himself that if all metahumans were gone, nobody would have to go through what he did. He needed that revenge as a type of closure for his wife’s death. He needed the blood of the kind that killed his wife, or his entire existence would have been redundant.

The man next to him - the soldier - was interesting. He spoke of weaknesses and triggers, and of the war. Of course, they were in a war. The great hurricane that would blow everyone around. The next person to speak did not say much, but did mention working with a weapons department. That was something Audrey could get behind. The war usually went to the side with the better weapons, after all.

The next woman to speak seemed to be honest and to the point. He did believe that once the goal was met, he’d take down the rest of the agents if he could, or at least he’d die trying. What was the point in wiping the whole metahuman population and leaving those that were your ‘allies’, to put it plainly. Though the woman seemed quite threatening, even as she slammed her fists onto the table. He wondered what she was looking for, and made a mental note to stay out of the albino agent’s way.

The last to speak before him spoke more peacefully than the others, who all spoke of wars. It was quite refreshing, but Audrey knew it was too idealistic. Leaving any metahumans at all was a problem, despite whatever moral beliefs she ran on. He took a quick glance around and realised he was the last in the room to have not spoken.

He adjusted his hat and cleared his throat, “Metahumans are like a virus.” he began, turning his head to the person who last spoke, “If we leave even just one, it will spawn again. Metahumans are mutations. Dominus acts like the antibiotic that gets rid of those viruses, but it is a known fact if that you don’t finish the course,” he took a pause to raise his head slightly, “The virus will come back stronger than ever. It is either kill them all, or waste everything that we have worked for.”

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by Chellizard January 15th 2013, 6:32 am

She was lost in thought, her hands fidgeting. Her bad habit, playing with her dog tags, hair, hem of her skirt; she couldn't keep herself still for very long. She was always messing with something, be it her knife, or just tapping her fingers on the table top. For now, though, she had sheathed her blade and crossed her arms, leaning forward to listen. She tossed a glare toward Salt and shook her head slightly. Those silver irises of her's rolled within their sockets when the others kept on about war. There was, as of right now, no war. They were all getting ahead of themselves, and it made her angry. But, to keep them from stirring up any anger toward her, she kept her mouth shut and started to undo the singular, long braid. Lilia had taught her how to do her hair like this, and she let a small smile tug at her lips while her head was bowed; hiding her expression.

She pulled her hands through her hair, the long silver tresses cascading around of her like a silver wave of water. She then shook her head and the tresses curled around of her face, and gently lay around of her. She looked like a walking Goddess; hell, every female of Dominus looked like model material. Alas, that wasn't important. No, not at all. Skyler had enough with everyone bringing up war, and when Agent Reaper, or Shayla as she found out a few months earlier, had gotten angry about an absent ballerina. Sighing slightly, she let her eyes calmly flit over to Shayla. She would get to answering her angry question in a moment. "I'd like to point out one key factor. We are not at war, not yet. Do not let yourselves get ahead of this. If we can subdue the Metahumans without causing global war? We look like more than just good guys; we look like the heroes. But, I know some of you find that appalling; with the killing, and the blood shed, and the rush of adrenaline from shooting someone from over five hundred meters away... But, with all of that aside.. aren't we here, as allies, to make our leader happy?" she added, raising a brow while a hand brushed some hair from her eyes.

While she spoke, she had stood up and straightened her skirt a bit, her form pacing slightly around of the table, nearing the door. She then glanced from Eric, to Salt, and then to Gossamer, and finally her eyes lay upon Agent Reaper. She did not mean to ignore everyone else in the room, but she was not their friend, nor their enemy. Not yet, and if they knew little to nothing about her, then she was in the clear; the safe zone. The gray zone, more likely, though. She then stepped toward the door, and turned the knob. Shifting on her feet, only slightly, she looked over her shoulder and spoke. "Agent Reaper, it is my understanding that Agent Etoile's whereabouts are no ones concern at this moment in time." She then stepped out of the door and shut it behind of her. She had taken the present from Salt, of course, not wanting to "disappoint" him and have him present her another gift. Something told her Eric would be following her out of the door, so she made her pace shallow, and slow.

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by Forceaus January 15th 2013, 9:48 pm

After having addressed the other agents about what he perceived to be the best course of action to take to deal with the premise of having to counter the threat that metahumans presented to the world and sitting back down, he closely listened to the opinions and statements and such made by all the other agents, Pierre simply could not wait any longer for the opportunity to speak again to arise. Some of the things he was forced to endure having to listen to were just awful. Some of these agents seemed very unintellectual to him. Not all the agents could be expected to be of the intellectual variety sure but they should at least be rather clever. Violence was not the only course of action they could take and some of these agents did not seem to realize such a thing.

Salt's little speech was of course disturbing to hear. What else is there to expect from somebody like him? Gossamer seemed to possess the understanding of the concept of how to think of metahumans in general but seemed to prefer methods that were extremely violent. The suggested prospect of possibly leveling entire cities was one not to be taken lightly. Perfect Soldier of course spoke like somebody only interested in combat. Blacksmith just seemed utterly disinterested in what was to come. He was merely interested in doing what he needed to do and be done with it. Reaper spoke like she always does. No surprises there. The surprise was what she said immediately afterwards.

Reaper was demanding to know where Etoile was. She even nearly broke the table in two during the process of which. This was something he did not expect. This meeting seemed to be surely getting out of hand. He did not know how best to speak with her at the moment.Having no knowledge of Etoile's current location would probably only cause her anger to become directed right towards him and for it to increase. Because of this he said nothing on the matter and instead went back to focusing on what everyone had to say on the main matter. The last two spoke their thoughts and that was everyone. One spoke sensibly and the other did not. Most of these agents were starting to seem like cold blooded killers in their own right. They were too prone to extreme measures. Such methods could lead to nasty consequences. This was not a matter to be taken lightly.

Finally Skyler spoke again to inform them all of the obvious. This war that most of the agents seemed to think they were in was not even taking place at this time. A statement that needed to be said. Pierre seized the opportunity to speak again. " Agents, you must be sure to consider the actions you are willing to take. Otherwise you may wind up being no different than the most dangerous of metahumans out there. That would be an unfortunate sight to witness. I would prefer not to think of any of you as just like somebody I would normally be targetting. I hope you realize that there is more to this than just killing. If not then it will be difficult for me to work with you." he expressively told them all and sat there looking from one to the next for reactions.

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by Twinkletoes January 16th 2013, 2:12 am

For the most part Franklin Salters was barely paying attention to the eclectic assortment of badass wannabes, scantily dressed superwhores and brooding manchilds; he was, however enjoying the impressive assortment of chests on display. Albino chests, lieutenant chests, cyborg chests...even those weird transsexual breasts that had him slobbering in a not-so-subtle-manner. He was also missing Lilia and her A cups but that was aside from the point, Mr Paxton had ordered the ballerina to assist him during the presentation and Salters merely had to stand and watch as his innocent little whore became Dominus' showgirl. The pretty face was a perfect marketing tool, those big blue eyes and those peachy lips were enough to have any mother watching the speech whishing they could cuddle the poor girl. Salt was one of the few lucky ones to experience such 'intimate' moments with the petite Russian...if only the general public knew of all the despicable things she's had to perform both in private and on the battlefield. Oh there would be an uproar! Such thoughts greatly amused the twisted agent, his mind rummaging through the sweetest memories he shared with the meek teenager, the very fragments of these memories leaving the taste of the sweetest fruits on his tongue.

His morbid contemplation with Lilia and her body was immediately shattered with Reaper's sudden temper spike, slamming the table leaving a permanent scar going straight down the middle of it. She was demanding the whereabouts of Lilia, why would she care? Was the fearless albino agent also using the number three agent as an item of pleasure? Unless they were secret lesbian lovers frolicking behind everyone's backs. Such thoughts scrambled through Salt's mind as he weighed his options, there was no reason for such an innapropriate demand, especially during a meeting like this! Clearing his throat and staring the feisty white female in the eye Salter's lips spread into a mock grin, his unshaven cheeks swelling with red as he allowed a response to answer her sudden query.

"That slut's whereabouts is none of your business!", he cried, his brow furrowing in mock frustration as he tried his best to sound as serious as possible. Eric still believed her dead and Franklin was not going to ruin the young man's chances of becoming the cold hearted agent everyone wanted him to become. He was efficient and hardworking, revealing Lilia's true fate all those months back would simply spoil the work Salters invested in the human workshop. "Focus on the task at hand will you! A scummy little whore should be the last of your worries!", he growled, raising an eyebrow as Skyler quickly left with his gift. Escaping from the very obvious truth she did not want for reveal to Eric. A smart move considering she has said all that was necessary.

"Anyways..Mr Paxton expects that we all put in our 110% effort, anything less and you should all get a swift kick up the ass!", he chuckled, rubbing his hands together before standing up, "We'ee gonna win this thing! If you're all alive by the end of it I'll give you giftboxes like the one I just have Doctor Karma", he chuckled menacingly. Putting his cut around his body Franklin quickly exited his seat and strode over to Eric, rubbing the young man's shoulder before turning once more to gaze at the assorted agents.

"I'll see all you pussies later!"

(Exit Franklin Salters)

Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only) - Page 2 Empty Re: Through the Looking Glass (Dominus Agents Only)

Post by Brorschach January 17th 2013, 1:26 am

Sheryll remained silent, waiting as the other agents spoke in turn until finally Reaper decided to inject her usual brand of immature and homicidal bile into the mix. She carried on and threatened Sheryll like she believed she had a chance. Normally, the brunette might have simply replied to her adopted albino sister with a vitriolic comment or some other demeaning remark, but not this time. No, Sheryll had been pushed past her breaking point several time in less than two hours. She'd watched as her beloved sisters had fought and been forced to experience heartbreak on enough levels to kill a human being several times over. So when the albino agent decided to threaten her, she wasn't going to give her any leeway.

Holding out her arm and pointing a single finger directly at Reaper's head, she spoke. It was the same cold voice that ushered from her lips whenever she was turned into that instrument of her father's will. When it was the subprogram they colloquially called 'Genocide Mode' that controlled her.

"Listen to me very carefully Agent Reaper. My wires shoot out with enough force to pierce steel like paper and at speeds exceeding what even your eyes can perceive. At any moment I can end your miserable existence without so much as moving my finger, so listen carefully you sniveling knockoff. We are here to discuss the capture and elimination of every metahuman threat in the United States and eventually the entire world, not discuss your issues with our father. So if you so much as think of threatening me or any of your fellow agents again during the course of this meeting: I. Will. Kill. You. No warnings, no mercy. Understand this Agent Reaper, Mr. Paxton does not care if you live or die any more than you do your unfortunate victims. Now grow up and leave your personal issues at the door. Have I made myself clear" She hissed, glaring at Reaper for a few moments before lowering her arm and standing up. Not waiting for an answer, Sheryll pushed her chair out from the table and began walking toward the door.

"I've said my piece. I'll have the rest of the meeting sent to my quarters." She stated coldly, arriving at the door, a single thought stopping her from walking out then and there.

Turning back to face the agents, she smiled wide.

"It was nice seeing you all again" she chimed in her normal sing-song voice, at complete odds with the icy way she'd addressed Reaper AND them only moment prior. Giving a soft wave, she left the room, heading back to her quarters.
