Kidnappings generally are straightforward. Some bad guy knocks someone over the head, drags them off, puts them in a basement somewhere and treats them cruelly and unusually the whole damn time. Nightkill didn't understand why. He always kept tabs on everyone he met. So when he 'accidentally' had let Andree slip those few months ago, he made sure a tracker had been placed on her, a foolproof one she had never noticed. He figured if he ever needed to use her, he'd find her. Simple as that. Things rarely were ever simple for Nightkill, but he tried to keep them simplistic.

So one day he had been in a university, examining the place for his daughter, who needed to go somewhere, though she was likely smarter than the professors. But for the whole look of the thing. He saw something. He saw Andree, but Andree was speaking to someone else.

The angel Scar. An Angel, and the girlfriend of Pain. So much use in her. So Nightkill wanted her. Not sexually in the slightest, but he wanted her as an experimental subject. Angels were rare, so rare. Much rarer than demons. An angel's body and DNA...he needed that, he truly did.

So one day when Andree had been walking home, he had some people hit her and knock her out, and drag her to the incredibly well fortified cell block he had underneath the Bronx. He had her in a special room. A plush, nice room. It'd seem like a completely normal hotel room, a five star hotel, but for the fact that there were no windows and no way to open the titanium door from the inside. No computer, but there was a TV and other conviences. But the girl kept cussing him out the whole damn time.

So Nightkill blasted her with incredible doses of several drugs on the fourth day, which largely shut her up, so she spent her time lying around while people occasionally pumped more of the drugs in her body. They were depressants, similar to heroin, making one extremely happy and relaxed. Nightkill had achieved peace and quiet. Who said drugs were bad?

Now he was in his mansion, using an utterly untracable phone- he'd know it was untracable, he had created it. He typed in a number which the drugged girl had told him. "Miss Scar? This is Nightkill speaking. You don't know me, but I do know you. I have kidnapped a friend of yours- Andree Miller, I believe? Daughter of your former partner Ryan?"

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

Scarletta was really not feeling well. She had been putting off the doctors for some time now, but today she really was considering this sickness was not just a bug but something really wrong with her. She had been in bed for the past week doing nothing but throwing up and having the oddest cravings ranging from watermelon at 2am to nachos at 11pm. Despite exercising every day she'd also found herself putting on weight which was really distressing her. Scar liked to keep on top of her shape and at the peak of her game, having gone up two bra sizes and definitely put on weight in the lower reign too she knew something was wrong. Not that Brock was complaining but even he was getting worried at her odd temperatures and the amount of times she ended up rushing to the bathroom to be sick. When he had asked her to go to the hospital for the 10th time even Scar had to admit this was not right and something had to be done, much to everyone else's relief. She was going to go with Pain but duty called and Scar really was not well enough to join him, despite wanting too. Instead she insisted she would go and meet him there.

After she'd convinced the man she had fallen in love with to leave her be, she showered and dressed in her new just last week clothes. Scar muttered slightly to herself as she tugged on her baggy blue shirt and cycling shorts. If she wore anything tight then she would probably end up being sick again. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun which even though it had not been fussed over looked cute and on her feet she wore blue sneakers. The heat of New York was not helping her stomach and as she stepped out of the apartment she slid the shades onto her eyes with a sigh. Being with Pain here had turned her into a celeb but even the people on the street failed to recognise her by the way she dressed. Scar tended to wear figure hugging jeans and her lethal boots. Anyone who knew Scar would only have to look at her once to know she was sick. Real sick.

When her phone started ringing Scar was surprised. Pain was away on a mission and well... the people who usually called her were either dead or seriously injured after the New York assault. Sean she hadn't seen in months. Looking at the number she paused in the queue of the bus and then side stepped, allowing the others to get on and smiling in apology before answering the call. Listening to what the guy was saying her body grew cold. God she was going to be sick again... Until the last line.

"Ryan's daughter?" Scar felt like someone had punched her in the gut and she quickly sat on the bench. "No... She...." Scar trailed off and this time the sick really did rise. She hung up on the call and only just made it to the public bathroom in time before she emptied her stomach. Tears pricked at her eyes and she pressed the palms of her hands against the cubical. Ryan was the only other man beside Pain she had began to fall in love with. She had been going to visit his daughter but then he had died... She hadn't thought about going to see his daughter as it was Scar's fault he had died.

"Oh God," she slid down the side of the cubical and stared at the phone in her hands.

"She isn't dead, yes. She's very much a living, breathing person. Perhaps not for long, if you don't listen carefully to what I say. Or perhaps she will continue living and breathing, just not in the same state as she was before." Nightkill said casually. "Now, listen. I need you to come to 'Great Kills Park' at 9:30 PM tonight. I'll tell you there what you need to do before I allow Andree Miller to be freed from my captivity again, though I'm not fully sure how long she'll last now. Also, come unarmed, though for an angel like you- yes, I am aware of what you are,- you likely won't need any weapons. Now, Scarletta, if you engage in any violence in the park, the last living DNA of Ryan will not exist any longer. Thank you for your time."

He hung up, allowing his words to steam inside Scar's mind.

Meanwhile, he walked downstairs to the basement. He opened a door, and a tunnel emerged. Walking down the tunnel casually, he glanced around, until he came to another door guarded by four well muscled guards. "Allow me to see the prisoner." he commanded, in his full alien form. The guards saluted and opened the door.

The living conditions were actually quite fantastic. Everything one needed could be found here, besides the windows and computer mentioned earlier. "How are you doing?" Nightkill asked, walking over to Andree quickly, pulling out a needle and injecting absurd amounts of his drug before allowing a response.

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

Post by Ember_Fangs April 9th 2012, 4:34 pm

"This night is going to be A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. "Just shove the toothbrush down your throat, it'll totally make you thinner," drawled one girl as her heels clicked into the main bathroom area. The taps turned on and her friend made a noise of agreement. Scarletta's eyes stared at the concrete opposite her, reading the meaningless crap people wrote on the brick word when they were drunk. Again the conversation drifted through the wall while Scar was struggling to figure out exactly what had just happened. The hacking sound that followed was the last straw for Scar's distressed, run down brain. She pushed to her feet, sunglasses still on despite it being 8:30PM and pushed open the cubical. The girl was doing a pitiful job of throwing up, Scar observed as she stepped out of the cubical. She really needed whatever bug Scar had, though apparently this bug just made you fatter. Ducking back them she headed out on to the street. So much for the hospital. Digging her hands into her pockets Scar thought about what exactly she was going to go. Sure, go to the park she knew that much, but this Nightkill... he knew about her. REALLY knew about her. Not many people knew about her angel genes that Faith had left her with. Which meant someone was talking to him or he was following her.

Scarletta suddenly felt really cold and side tracked through the market which was just closing up. Stopping by a stall she brought a jock like jumper with the stitching of some university name on the breast and a blue base ball cap. sticking them both on her head she brought some gum and began the half an hour walk across New York city. She could have taken the bus but her stomach settled once she began to walk and the ease in sickness was a relief. Maybe it had been staying indoors that had caused her sickness. She felt a lot better after the walk and she ended up being ten minutes early to her appointment. Sitting on one of the swings she pushed it with her legs then curled them under the swing, allowing the motion to soothe her while she thought about Ryan and Andree. Now she had been told, she wondered how she hadn't seen it before. She had his eyes, the stubborn line of his jaw - and his stubborn attitude, his intelligence and his odd sense of humour. The blonde hair was not Ryan's though, that must be her mothers. Ryan had said he'd liked a blonde haired girl. Scar blew a bubble and the swing began to slow so she pushed off again, hands in her pockets.

God what was she going to do? She didn't need weapons that was for sure, she had fire on her side and the idiots had picked a tree lined park. Glad that there was nothing behind the swings but a large iron gate, she could rest safe in the knowledge nothing was coming from behind her at least.

Well, this is going to be boring. Was the thought that passed through Andree's head as she stepped into her cell four days prior. No laptop, how am I going to live? Just kill me early, no need to put me through that torture. She continued to think, attempting to lighten the mood in her head. On the way back to her hotel, she was attacked from behind. She didn't hear them, she didn't see them, she only felt their presence once it was too late. The dreary atmosphere of the prison cell was depressing despite the fact that it was better than a lot of places to be held. After a few days of constantly screaming and swearing, she got her first dosage of a heroin-like substance. Immediately after the dose, she had gotten a warm, fuzzy feeling that ran over her body in waves. With the warmth settling into her skin, her mouth had turned dry as the desert. Once the moisture had disappeared from her mouth, the next sensation was the fogginess of her mind. The drug had clouded her central nervous system and placed her in a cloudy, fuzzy phase. Her breathing had slowed down and everything around her had begun to look like it would fit in perfectly in the board game, Candyland. After this, she remembered nothing.

In the present moment, Andree had awoke from falling asleep due to these same effects. She slowly whirred to life, the effects of the last dosage worn off. It was impossible to tell the time, seeing as there were no windows. It could be any time from one in the morning to eleven at night. Despite not knowing, Andree didn't really care. Knowing the time wasn't going to help her in this situation. She was just glad that, for now, the effects were worn off. This temporary glee was ruined by the entrance of Nightkill through the door that she had tried so hard to open but failed. Oh God, oh no, no, no, not more, not more. She complained in her head until she saw him pull out the syringe. "No, no, no, no, no!" She shouted quickly before the needle was plunged into her head and once again she had stepped into a world much like a Tim Burton movie. Bright colours were everywhere. All the colours swirled and spun around the room in a disorienting manner. "Yee!" The drugged voice of Andree cheered with a smile as she fell back in her bed and stared at the swirling colours on the ceiling.

Nightkill smiled when he saw Andree drugged up. "Ah, excellent." he said, taking Andree by the hand and placing a helmet on her head, a weird one with many green knobs like something out of a sci-fi novel. He then placed a bag over Andree's head, tying her hands together with handcuffs. Andree would normally get through, but right now she'd be far too high to do so.

He led her through the tunnel, into the tunnel, and up into his mansion, where he injected another small dose. He then took her into a car, with three other men in it. It was an old Honda Odyssey, one of his disposable ones, one that couldn't be traced.

The car was driven down the road to the park, Nightkill walking out of the car with a drunk and tied up Andree. "Say hello to the lady, Andree." Nightkill said cheerfully, still appearing fully alien. He nodded to Scar. "Miss Scarlette, I'm glad you are here." he said. "Here is Andree Miller, as I stated earlier. Just proving she is in fact here. Now, if you will please come with me, we can get this whole thing over with."

The whole time, he was smiling in his head. This was perfect. He could get an angel's DNA. An angel's very own DNA. Nothing could be better than that, as she was pregnant or something.

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

Post by Ember_Fangs April 10th 2012, 4:12 am

Scarletta frowned as the car pulled up outside of the park and her heart skipped a beat when she saw Andree's tiny form. She looked pissed. The man was basically propping her up. Well when she said man she meant alien. She only had his voice to go in to assume he was a man. Anger tightened her stomach into s knot and she slowly pulled off her glasses. Her eyes had turned to liquid gold in response to the anger that welled inside of her. She wasn't going to let Ryan down. Her blood had got him killed and she would not let it kill his daughter. Like Fuck was she getting in the car with the deranged lunatic. They were going to have to bag her the old fashioned way. Slowly she took her hands from her pocket and began to walk towards them where one man was waiting with cuffs. She was going to have to knock them out first then grab Andree and leg it. Angelic fire hummed just under her skin and just as she reached the man with the cuffs she let forth a giant stream of fire. The man howled in pain, crumbling to the floor, while the other two dashed for her. Scar dropped to a crouch when the men swung their arms towards her and swept her leg out to sweep one man's legs from under him. His fall allowed her to roll out of the way and create a fan of fire in her hands which again she launched towards the tumbling.

"You were sorely mistaken if you thought I was going to walk into the car," she spat. The men were lying in a burning heap, wailing, and the stench of roasted flesh rose into the air.

"I wonder what fried alien smells like," she made a ball of fire appear in her hand."Give me Andree and we'll say no more about it," she held out her other hand, frowning. It was a fine display until whatever bug was living in her woke up anyway. Suddenly charred flesh was beyond bearable and her lunch rose like bile in her mouth. scar only had a second to move before she was emptyng the contents of her stomach onto the ground. She may have been an angel but she was definitely a sick one. She knew the odds were not in her favour and her hand slid to the signalling button that would alert Pain of her location before swallowing it. She had a feeling they'd search her and if he was going to find out where they were going the least he needed was to arrive at the park and it be a dead end.

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

Post by Guest April 11th 2012, 1:04 am

Nightkill had not even bothered to leap out of the way, knowing that Scar would not attack him directly- not when he could easily use Andree as a shield. Not that he would ever want to do that, but he was prepared to if needed. He watched his men be killed off swiftly by the divine wrath of the angel. It was beautiful yet horrifying really. Angels weren't just fluffy little people with wings and a halo- they were fighters. They were soldiers. They were murderers and they were ruthless. But damn if they didn't have style, something even the pragmatic Nightkill appreciated.

He was about to prepare for a long, drawn out battle, but then she vomited. Nightkill couldn't believe his luck. Vomit? Why would she vomit? He considered it as he pulled out a specially created gun, a tranquillizer gun of sorts. He fired right at the vomiting angel. The darts that flew would paralyse ten men, and have the same effects of the drug he had previously given Andree with some differences- the target receiving the dart would be as high and happy as Andree, but also unable to move and speak for a short period of time. This is because Andree was generally harmless without her weapons, but he suspected- and now knew- the angel was always dangerous.

Now, vomiting. Vomiting, and the fact she seemed to have gained weight...pregnancy. No. Was it possible? Could an angel become pregnant? Demons could, so there should be no real reason an angel couldn't....an angel baby. But he shouldn't get ahead of himself. No. Rationally think this. There could be other explanations. Don't go with just one.

He cuffed Scarletta, and placed upon her head the same type of helmet placed on Andree's. He looked at each one of his dead men, and gave a sigh. He took out his cell phone. "Azad? Nicholas, Kong and David were murdered in the process of capturing the angel. See to it they are properly buried."

He then took Andree and Scar, shoving them in the backseat of the car- he gave Andree a paralysis dart as well, just so she couldn't do something in the car. They drove in silence, Nightkill breaking it only once. "You know, I'd have liked to have done this without any violence. You killed three innocent men, angel. That's something even I would hesitate from doing."

They arrived, not at his mansion, but a random abandoned warehouse. It was cliche, but useful. Placing blindfolds over their heads, he led them down a tunnel toward the cell block Andree had been in before. By led, I mean he had some people pick them up and carry them down, since he would dislike doing that himself and because they were still paralysed. The effects of the paralysis started wearing off for the both of them, and the effects of the high began wearing off Scar. Andree wasn't paralysed anymore, but was still high, since she was smaller.

Nightkill sighed and shut the door, closing them inside the cell block. He smiled to himself. An excellent catch. Excellent. The helmets, he knew, would prove near impossible to remove...

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

Post by Ember_Fangs April 11th 2012, 11:17 am

Not now... please not now Scarletta thought as the fire rapidly retreated from her control. The hell was going on with her?! She ended up on her knees with a serious headache and her hand clamped to her stomach. She needed to find an angel who could explain things to her, the only problem was that angels didn't like to be found. She did attempt to move when the dart was shot but she was in to much pain to move a muscle. The dart, if anything, actually helped to ease the pain though it did render her absolutely useless. At first it half knocked her out and she slipped into a weird 'Waking Dream'. The kind she often had when she had been pinned to that Demon's table with countless needles and wires coming from her skin. That had been a time she had never really wanted to get back to. Scar rolled onto her back when the dart hit and she tugged at it weakly. It took a little longer for the drug to set in properly. It was her mind that went before her body. The odd colours were surprisingly comforting as she began to slip into unconsciousness.

It only lasted the car journey before someone picked her up. Slowly she opened her eyes, seeing through a weird like helmet in front of her vision. Her hands were cuffed but she couldn't move her limbs even if she wasn't. Panic set in then and the drug began to burn up on the sudden adrenaline rush. By the time she was in the cell it was only her mind that was foggy and her movements sluggish. The blindfold was annoying as was the helmet but she savoured this moment of calm. Whatever was making her sick hadn't liked the dart either. Later on she'd find that it could have killed the child which was growing at a crazy rate right now, due to Scarletta being in trouble. The angelic fire had instinctively curled around her stomach in order to protect the innocent child which meant Scar only had a trickle of power for the moment.

Leaning back against the wall she tried to guess where exactly she was. The wall felt cold which indicated they were leaning against a room facing the outside. Feeling with her hands which were tingling but at least working slightly now, they brushed against a damp part of the wall. She could move her feet but that seemed to be it for the moment. With a grunt she used her hands to push her back against the wall and felt her way to just under her bum. It was odd having no feeling in the rest of her body but at least it didn't hurt when her arm twisted in a weird way. By the end of it she had ended up with her hands under her knees. Even that had made her head spin.

"Andree?" she slurred and winced. She seemed to be making process. She could feel up to her hips now, though her arms were still a dead weight. They must have been in the cell for half an hour by the time she had got her legs through her cuffed wrists so they sat in front of her. An ache had blossomed in her shoulders from where she had nearly dislocated it in her crazy manouver but at least it had worked.

"Andree can you hear me?" she asked, getting her voice back bit by bit.

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

Post by Mockingbird April 11th 2012, 1:01 pm

The time between the helmet and bag being placed on her head and the arrival at the park was all a blur to the drugged Andree. All she knew between those two events was that the swirling colours were pretty. The swirling reds, blues, yellows, greens and oranges spun in spiral like patterns around the inside of the bag. They continued to do this mesmerizing dance until they got to the park. At the park, she felt herself get a pulled around to somewhere and her name said a few times. But all of what they said entered through one ear and left through the other as the swirling colours produced by the drug continued to mesmerize her with their dance. The sounds of the ruckus that broke out for all of a few seconds before Scarletta threw up had grabbed her attention momentarily. But, once the screaming and other sounds had passed, she went back to focusing on her precious colours. Soon after the screaming disappeared, she felt herself get shoved into the car once more and then felt the pierce of the paralysis dart. She was unable to move at all but, it didn't matter to her, she was just fixated on the swirling colours that had seemed to increase in intensity.

Unlike Scar, when the pair were shoved into their cell, she was still high. A smile was stretched across her face beneath the bag that covered her face. The trance induced by swirling colours caused by the dart had started to wear off but had not disappeared just yet. The drugs still coursed through her veins but were beginning to weaken. As the colours slowed down and started to fade, the drug induced Andree wailed from beneath her bag. "Nooooooo! Where are all my pretty colours going?" She said in a slow and relaxed but loud voice. As she cried this out, she collapsed onto the floor and closed her eyes under the bag.

Eventually, she stirred and her eyes blinked to life. She felt like shit and just lay on the floor, staring at the ceiling through drug free eyes. "SCAR?" She screamed at hearing the girl's voice, having no recollection of what happened while she was drugged. "What are you doing here?!?!?!?" She was freaking out beneath her bag as she exclaimed this to the heavens.

Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.) Empty Re: Sometimes kidnappings are a bitch. (Ember and Birdie.)

I really want my wings back, she thought, her head spinning. The drugs had been rough, it was like they came in waves. One moment she was okay and the next those weird swirls of colour were back again. She knew it was her blood trying to fight it, but today it seemed to be busy else where. Probably fighting that stupid bug that had led to her capture. Once her determination to get her hands free had worn off she leaned back against the wall and tried to stop the spinning of her head. Okay.. Adrenaline was good... Adrenaline fought the drug. The paralization thing was beginning to wear off which meant the pain in her stomach was coming back. Slowly she put her hands on the slight bump and closed her eyes, taking slow and shallow breaths.

Faith if you can hear me I could really do with your help... Scarletta's eyes flickered open and she was met by darkness. Was it night time? Her body ached when she moved it and then it dawned on her. She must have fallen asleep again because her head was clearer and though her body was humming with aches and pain, she could move. Again, that noise of someone calling her name. Dammit. Andree. Kicking herself for forgetting the girl who she had tried to save she lifted her hands and tugged off the stupid bag on her head. The room was just as dark though she could make out Andree on the other side of the room.

"Andree," she sighed in relief. Seeing her unhurt was a relief. Scar rolled to her knees and then crawled over the room to sit beside Andree's head. "Here let me get this off you," she soothed and tugged the bag from her head, throwing it to the side. "Morning sunshine."

Andree's breathing picked up as she heard Scar's voice again. No, no, no, no, no! What is she doing here!? She thought frantically as her fear was confirmed. A bit of the darkness disappeared as the bag was removed from over her head. Scar's voice soothed her frantic mind a fraction, she wanted to seem a little more composed for Scar rather than the messy state she really was in. Her breathing, that had gone up to a fast pace before, Andree now slowed down in order to try and seem calmer than she was. Once the bag was off of her head and she lay on the floor with Scar over her, she commented with sarcasm dripping from every word she said. "Lovely morning." Her eyes were slowly filling with tears at the fact that Scar was caught with her now too.

Now with her worst fear in this situation, besides death, confirmed to have occurred, Andree got up on her knees so that she looked into Scar's eyes. The two were around the same height. Quickly, she embraced her, wrapping her arms around Scar. "You shouldn't be here, what are you doing here?" Her voice was filled with sorrow as tears dripped from her eyes and fell onto Scar. "Now what's going on here?" She asked with concern in her voice once she saw Scar's stomach. I don't think she's the type to let herself go like that and get fat. Her subconscious spoke as she looked at the bump with confusion. "Scar, are you pregnant?"

Scar smiled when the girl hugged her but as her hands were tied she rested her chin on top of the girls head and shut her eyes, breathing in deeply. Thank God she was okay... Scar wasn't sure what she'd do if she failed Ryan even when he was dead. She smiled then motioned to her cuffs as to why she couldn't hug back. She seemed to have lost her hat when this stupid helmet got shoved on her head but at least she still had her jacket which was keeping her warm and protected against the chill in the room. Looking over the girl however she noticed she didn't have one. Scar shifted her hands so they were stretched taunt and then slammed her foot into the chains after calling on a little bit of fire to melt. The metal snapped and she sighed in relief as she could now move her arms freely. She soon wrapped her arms around the girl and hugged her tightly to her.

"I got a call about you... about who your dad was," she bit her lip slightly. "I couldn't just leave you in here," she linked her fingers with the girls, wishing desperately that she could have this stupid helmet off. It was making her feel as though she had a head to big for her body. It also made hugging really awkward. She put her hands either side of the helmet, bits of chain still dangling round her wrists. When Andree looked at her buldging stomach Scar began to grow pink. She hated looking like this that was for sure. She was about to tell her she had some weird angel bug or something when Andree offered up a suggestion which hadn't crossed her mind since the day she had been told she could no longer have children.

"Pregnant...." she trailed off. "I..." she stared at the girl blankly for a moment. "I can't have children..." her voice was filled with anguish at that comment. When she had lost her baby then been told her angel genes would kill it off, she had broken inside and lost a piece of her that had never been filled. "Angels don't have children, it's very rarely that an angel couple will breed but..." she trailed off. It did make sense. The throwing up, cravings, the putting on of weight. Scar flopped against the wall and put her hands over the bump. Oh God... could she really? As if the child inside of her could hear something moved under the palms of her hands.

"Oh my God..."

Nightkill was many things and he had done many things. He was an architect, an engineer, a policeman, a thief, a killer, a doctor, a farmer and a parent. But importantly, he was a scientist and he observed. He watched the interactions of the two women, how they hugged and looked shocked and disturbed that the other had been captured, but relieved that they were alright. Interesting.

A child. The idea had been in Nightkill's head before, but now it was confirmed and he knew it. He tapped a button on his console, and saw it. Developing, developing rapidly. Far quicker than a human child. Fascinating. He tapped another button, giving him an X-Rsy view of both women. Focusing on Scar, he saw the baby move around, firing off an occasional kick. Healthy and maturing.

Amazing. He tapped another button on his console, and Scar and Andree went unconcious.

Not that they knew that. They had progressed seamlessly into the dream activated by the helmet, so seamlessly they'd believe they were still awake and in the room while they were unconcious in the real world. They shared the dream, obviously. A few of the doctors took Scar's body outside toward a medical room in the real world.

In the dream, there was an explosion outside the room, breaking the titanium door.

"My Dad? What's he got to do with all this?" Andree asked, gesturing around to the stone cold room they sat in. As the chilly air nipped at her sleeveless arms, she crossed her arms against her chest to make herself warmer. She could almost see her own breath as she tried to keep warm. Her hands wrapped themselves around each of her upper arms and bean to rub them, trying to create some heat from the friction. Andree smirked a bit when Scar said she couldn't have children. I may be no doctor, but I'm pretty sure there is a difference between fat and pregnancy. She's not growing any direction that would indicate that she's just getting fat, nor does she seem the type to let herself go. Andree narrated to herself silently. Once Scar had felt her stomach and spoken once more, Andree leaned in a bit closer and hugged her. After finishing their embrace, she leaned back, still on her knees, and said to her "Congrats, I'm happy for you." A smile stretched across her face as she said this, temporarily forgetting their current predicament.

This bit of glee was short lived though as she soon fell unconscious. Though, in her mind, it appeared that nothing had changed. They were still in the room, she was still looking into Scar's eyes with glee, nothing seemed wrong. That was, of course, until a violent explosion ripped the titanium door off of it's hinges and allowed Scar and her an exit. Eyes full of shock, Andree turned back to Scar and said to her. "Well, let's get out of here." Quickly, she took Scar's hand and began to run at an average pace, not wanting to hurt Scar or the baby.
