Language 2: Swearing is generally permitted. However, the language cannot be used to severely abuse.
Sexual Content 2: Sexual content is permitted. References and writing about genitalia and sex acts are permitted, but explicit detail is not. Fade to black, or use the dotdotdot rule. (Let's keep it PG-13.)
Violence 2: Graphic violence is permitted. Explicit description or in-game narration violence is allowed.

Despite these ratings, keep in mind that there is a limit, and you should not cross it just to garner attention. Also, resorting to curse words is also like adding senseless fluff to your posts.

Ghost Politics Empty Ghost Politics

Post by SolitaryGhost March 22nd 2012, 9:41 pm

Real Name: Ah don't think that's yer damn business.
Super Hero/Villain/Renegade/etc Name: Ghost the Host
Title: Ghost
Alignment: Chaotic Neutrality
Age: 54
Gender: Male
Race: Human/Undead
Hair: None
Eyes: None
Height: 6'3''
Weight: 169 lbs.

Costume Description/Image: Ghost, being primarily just a skeleton, has no distinct features other than the unusual scowl he always wears on his bony face. He prefers a rawhide cowboy hat with a tan duster covering his body. He keeps a holster at his right side to hold his special Colt 45., Rarity.

Personality: Ghost, born and raised in the Lone Star State, is a man of many words, most of which are careless and rude. He speaks his mind, regardless of who's around to hear it. His cocky attitude is backed only by his calculating mind. Though not the quickest whip, he knows how to play with the lesser folk's minds, and uses this advantage to make his radio show as well known as it is.

It's only in situations where he's at a severe disadvantage that he puts on his serious mask, and when Ghost means business, Ghost means business.

Ghost generally doesn't care about anything that doesn't concern him. He only does things that suit his needs or wants, meaning he could either watch a child flayed by a monster, or rip the monsters heart out. He has no real sense of remorse, and loves to spend his time trolling the mindless whelps that plague the country with his own form of propaganda.

History: Ghost doesn't know much about his past, mostly because he lost a lot of his memory while being experimented on by the early American Government. All he knows for sure is his name, his birthday, and where he was born. But, as they say, it doesn't matter where you've been, but where you're going.

The experiments performed on his body had severe effects. Originally intended for use in WWII, his genes were warped to a horrific point, leaving his body a mere skeleton, kept alive by his preserved organs. The genes, however, seeped into the bone, manifesting itself into what made Ghost one of the most successful early War experiments.

Intended to be The Face Of America, he was given the nickname Ghost, and quickly put in charge of his own syndicated radio station, True Capitalist Radio, where he spent nearly 30 years spouting the propaganda given to him, as well as his own southern skewed twist on things.

When the states went to all hell, he assumed full control of TCR, opting to bring his own views into the public eye. He told them of the horrible experiments conducted in the Pentagon, as well as various war plans that were either snuffed out or never even brought to fruition. His fame quickly doubled, and he became one of the most well-known voices in the States.

Now, he sits comfortably in his station based in Dallas, Texas, watching the world crumble as the new supers and villains begin to emerge.

Powers
Aside from his superhuman strength and endurance, which gives Ghost the advantage of being able to lift up to 40 tons, he is also a well-versed combatant in both the use of pistols and Muay Thai. He has high above intelligence, which he uses to his advantage when hosting his radio broadcast, easily earning him the support of the normal citizens. Due to his lack of skin, Ghost boasts the ability to maintain speeds of up to 28 mph just on foot.

Weapons
Ghost keeps a custom made Colt 45 named Rarity tucked in the holster at his side at all times. His quickdraw has made him one of the most feared cowpokes in Texas.
Though not necessarily weapons, Ghost has a habit of naming his own body parts. He took the liberty of dubbing his left and right leg Bucky McGilligoody and Kicks McGee, respectively.

Power Grid: (You have 22 points to spend on your Power Grid unless you can fly, in which case you have 20. Each stat can start at 6, not 7. 7 must be earned.)
STR: 5
SPD: 3
END: 5
INT: 4
EP: 0
FS: 5

Power Grid colours: White and Orange

Roleplay Sample: "Sadly, there were no survivors." A moment of silence fills the radio waves as Ghost takes a pause. In a matter of seconds, he erupts into a fit of hoarse laughter. "Those poor bastards had it comin'! Teach 'em to drink tha water in Mexico again! 'Till next time, Ghost out."

The green light shuts off on the studio window, and Ghost stands up from his comfortable chair, straightening his duster.

"Good show boys, no buck ups this time. Ah guess you all get tah live!" He cackles to himself as he walks through the door and into the adjacent hallway.

"Excuse me, Ghost?" A short man, mid-thirties, looks up at Ghost. Although he bears a serious look, Ghost just smiles.

"How can ah help ya, pipsqueak? Want mah John Hancock? No worries, ah got it, fer a little fee, of course." He walks around the man, ignoring his protests.

"Come back here. I want you to know that I'm here representing a group of Americans that are tired of your show. We demand you pull from the air, before we're forced to take legal action!"

Ghost stopped, a sneer plastered on his face. "Legal action, ya say? Let me tell ya something, Buffalo Bill. This here's mah county. Ah am the law." In the blink of an eye, he pulls his gun and lets off two rounds, embedding into the mans skull. Blood plasters the wall as Rarity finds her way back into the snake-skin holster. He continues his walk down the hallway as his workers gather around the still body.
