Though Uyenashi was a very introverted person, Gou is a very outspoken and energetic individual. Always trying to be a bright light for those in need and a dark shadow for evildoers he tries to stop.

A long time ago, there existed a boy with a dream. Uyenashi spent his free time watching amazing stories on TV and reading books. The more he dived into these stories, the more he looked upon himself and felt an increased want to be among his favorite characters—one fateful night, after binge-watching his favorite show for many hours. Uyenashi crawled into his bed and slowly drifted away to the land of dreamland. His brain had just entered sleep mode when something shifted within his room with a loud bang. Uyenashi started stirring when his bookshelf started to collapse. As his entire media collection came slamming down upon him, Uyenashi felt a hard thud before he was plunged deep into a dark and cold void.

He slowly started to regain consciousness as the noise of car engines raged around him. He rose to his feet and tried to make heads or tails of his surroundings. He discovered he was in a back alley in some sort of big city. He looked out among the city only to see exactly what he saw daily while on his way to work, the only difference was the cold metal now poking in his back. He slowly glanced behind to see a masked man on the other end of the gun. Without saying another word, the man held up his hand and demanded everything Uyenashi had. He tried his best to hide his internal panic, a fact even he knew he was failing horribly. He slowly reached for his pocket and had just grabbed his wallet when something changed within Uyenashi. Without speaking, he quickly spun around and tried to recreate an anime he had just seen the night before. Both himself and the Mugger shared Shock as a massive flash exploded from his hands.

As he looked down at the unconscious mugger before him, Uyenashi could only look at his hands in disbelief. When he returned to reality, a smile slowly spread across his face. Uyenashi knew at that moment that his life had just changed for the better. He knew he was brought here for a greater cause, to be the thing he loved the most in the world. From that day forward, he would dedicate his life to fighting crime just like his favorite protagonists. From the moment the now-former Uyenashi stepped out of that alley that day, the man known as Gou was born.

Slightly Enhanced athleticism: Through years of training and practicing for a moment like this, Gou has found himself with above-average physical skills. This allows him to run up to four miles before he starts to get tired or lifts 210 ibs without facing fatigue.

Luckiest man alive: Whenever Gou finds himself in any mortal Danger, he always seems to find his way out of it. Even something like explosions only gives him cuts and bruises when the plot demands it. (permission-based)

Using his studies: Through his years of witnessing his favorite media, Gou has gained a massive knowledge of the tropes within said media. This knowledge has been shown to give him an edge during his Hero work.

Magical man: Through copying what he saw in his media, Gou has learned how to cast real magic spells for his hero work. Allowing him to block more dangerous attacks or launching magical energy out in a heroic move.

Still human: One of his major weaknesses is that he is still a mortal man. Injuries can still be fatal and weapons have a big effect on him. When it comes to god-tier opponents or any sort of superpower, he is way out of his league.

Not like his stories: While his knowledge of the media he constantly indulged in is massive, it’s not unlimited. Since not every situation has parallels to his media, He spends much of his hero work in the dark and unknowledgeable.  

Missing some magic lessons: Even after several years of learning from and practicing what witnessed in his media, He is only a novice when it comes to actually casting magic. Many of his spells are low-tier and weak if he isn’t giving his all. If he were to ever fight a more experienced magic-user, they would easily wipe the floor with him.

Magical fatigue: As with most uses of magic, it is a drain of Gou’s body. With every spell he casts, he finds himself being drained of both energy and strength. Too much use will put him out of commission for a long time. The longest he has gone before completely passing out was 4 hours of constant magic casting.

Armor Of The Great Tiger: Throughout his time doing hero work and long nights of research. Gou was able to craft an armor descended from the gods. It consists of clothing he stitched together to form enough padding to count as armor.


Upon arriving in this world, he found a nice hamster and decided to make his animal sidekick named “Turbo Hamster.”

Even though he’s technically in the media now, He still very much enjoys reading and watching his favorites.
