Item/Character Advancement Name: Stardust Veil
Item/Character Advancement Description:When not actively worn, the Stardust Veil looks like a simple purple bandana around Quickdraw’s neck. When worn, the appearance is constantly shifting, like one is looking at a nebula cloud.
Item Power(s): As a badge of his affiliation with the Knighthood within the Disciples of Virtue, David Crenshaw was fashioned this item by the Seraphic Court. While worn, Quickdraw’s identity is completely concealed, even from electronic surveillance and most magical powers. In addition, he cannot be recognized by voice.
Effectively, while worn, Quickdraw cannot be identified as Quickdraw.
Item/Character Advancement Weakness(es):
- Angelic and demonic entities, as well as magicians with any ability akin to Truesight, can still identify Quickdraw.
- Any actions taken while concealed by the bandana cannot count towards Quickdraw’s Fame or Infamy. Quickdraw would have to take it off for any actions to be recognized. “The Veil” is tracked by its own separate Fame/Infamy score.
- The powers of the bandana are restricted by morality and faction; should Quickdraw fall below Neutral, or if he leaves Compassion’s Knighthood, the Stardust Veil will cease to function.
