SECRET SANTA 2019 END DATE: December 25th, 2019 @ 11:59PM EST
What will I be doing?
We will be putting the names of those who want to enter into a random drawing. From there, you will be sent a name that has been selected for you. This is where it gets fun. Below, you'll post what you would like to see in your gift character. This can be as simple as explaining some qualities in personality or character type, or even a theme.
What should I do next?
Wishlist
If you want in on the secret santa thing, comment below with your wishlist for a possible character! You can avoid this if you want a character that someone else really wants to make for you, but don't complain if it's not exactly what you want if you choose to do so.
Creation
Next, once we have the names drawn and ready to go; I will send each of you a DM with what name you get. Remember, you won't receive anything if you spill the beans early.
Posting
Within the next 24 hours, a new account called "SHRP Secret Santa" will be created. I will send the password to anyone who posts in this thread thread so that you can anonymously post a character sheet. Please don't spam on this account or troll using it. If you do and we find out; that will result in a ban.
What should I include in my wishlist?
Well, you should include a very basic idea of what you want. If you're familiar with the character idea game I run on the discord, I more or less suggest that format. Origin, Name, Powerset maybe, etc. of course, you can leave any of these blank or add some things that you specifically want; but otherwise anything goes.
Rewards
First, as a thank you for participating in Secret Santa, SHRP will be giving out 30 XP to anyone who signs up for the contest. In addition, you also get a character from one of your fellow writers, AND a ghost slot to use with your secret santa character!

*A ghost slot is a character slot that you gain temporarily to allow one more character to your roster. Once you choose to retire a character, you lose that slot. You do not gain a permanent character slot.

Genre: I have demons and angels, I have alternate dimension character's, I have magic characters and shapeshifters. Try something that isn't any of these.

Origin: Not demon, not dimensional, not magical. That is all.

Character Name: YOU CAN PICK! Though if it's a boy, I love the name Allister/Allistar / could even be a last name! Tie it in, somehow!
Genre: The idea of a sort of embarrassing costume or transformation makes me giggle. Example being a strong man, but he has to access his powers by doing a Sailor Moon magic girl transformation in order to harness them!
Powers: If it fits with the theme, please go with something magical. It can be dark, light, happy, sad, joy, idc! Just, you pick.
Origin: I'm thinking Scifi meets Fantasy. Anything in that category would be rad to play!

Genre: Less of a genre but I am currently without any sort of magic or supernatural character. So let’s get supernatural and spooky!
Powers: Once again I’m gonna go off of something I don’t have any of at the moment, energy projection. Interpret that however you want and it doesn’t have to be the only power (I also tend to like powers that seem powerful but are also inconvenient or very difficult for the character to deal with)
