A stoic and serious man, Kuruzaki doesn’t joke or play around. He focused only on his next and, from there, his next paycheck. That is all that matters, the paycheck. His past history with the Silver Hand has lent him a very … specific way to deal with problems, most of which involve blades of varying sizes and types. His heart is cold; Kuruzaki hasn’t felt an emotion in years and he has no intention to start now. Clinically efficient in a way that can only come with years of assassination, he is the Specialist of Blackguard but nonetheless, he holds no loyalty to them, only staying with the organization due to the massive amounts of money he is paid.


There isn’t much of a story to tell about Razorguard. As a child, his latent meta-gene and natural talent for stealth led the Silver Hand to him. Raised on Almawt for the greater part of his life, he eventually had enough and murdered his fellow Agents, sending the Silver Hand after him. Which brought him to Katrina, a former Silver Hand Agent herself. In exchange for protection and a large sum of money, he worked for Blackguard as their Specialist.

”Blade Physiology:” When his meta-gene activated, every cell in his body was transformed, turning him into a walking sword. His skin is permanently sharp and made of an organic metal, enhancing his durability and strength to peak human levels. Due to the unique arrangement of metallic fragments among his cells, this also gives him inhuman levels of flexibility. The most important aspect, however, is that the lightest touch of his skin is like touching the sharp end of a blade. Even his fluids are incredibly sharp; his blood and saliva all act as a ferrofluid, with millions of microscopic blades within them. On top of all this, his unique physiology means he is immune to being cut, and additionally feels no pain.

”Blade Generation:” By shedding excess material and forming it into a solid form, Razorguard can form weaponry such as knives and swords, made of the unique organic material that comprises his body.


”Electrical Energy:” As a being made of metal, he is incredibly susceptible to powerful electrical energy. One single good shock, and he is down for the count for at least several minutes.

”Excess Supplies:” To create weapons, he has to give up pieces of himself. Small weapons are easy, those are created from his skin cells and sweat, but anything larger than a throwing knife will require equivalent flesh to be sacrificed.

”Blast:” Despite his resistance to pain and cutting and slice damage, anything like blunt damage, explosions, and other types of damage similar can still damage him as easily any metal.

”Force:” He may be a living sword, but that doesn’t mean he can cut through anything. His body is about as dense as steel; which means any metal requires significantly more force.


Blackguard Oni-Dou: A set of ablative armor, specially designed for Razorguard, to prevent wear and tear caused by his unique adaptation. The powerful armor can deflect most small-arms fire. Designed in the traditional style of Japanese Samurai, this intimidating set of armor is impervious to most small-arms fire and due to the unique alloys and layer of absorbing materials, is resistant to electrical shock up to 700 watts of energy, though it is still quite painful to Kuruzaki. The Blackguard Daisho is worn on the right hip. Like all Blackguard armor, it’s black with a sky-blue trim. In the middle of the chest, the shield of the Blackguard is emblazoned.

Blackguard Kabuto: An ablative helmet made with plenty of angles, the face set with the grimacing face of a demon. This Kabuto is powerfully designed, able to withstand low-level superhuman strength and rifle ammo. The demonic face of this helmet hides the circuitry for the Blackguard HUD; this specialized overlay calculates degrees, angles, and degree of incline, as well as allowing both spoken - via an earpiece - and text-based communication with Blackguard. This HUD can also display current objectives, any documents uploaded to the internal memory, face-to-face video communication, and a real-time map of the area.


Kuruzaki does not care about anything other than money.


He is constantly wearing Blackguard-variety clothing, as anything less is shredded to bits.
