Much like the other mechanized champions his skin is made of a steely metal, though unlike his companions he has a dark, almost gray complexion. His eyes are a neon green color at their irises and black in the scleral. Like the others, his steely skin is smooth, but still the overall body is very human-like in design. He’s not the most imposing figure, shorter than the average male, but his creator insists this makes him cute and desirable. His hair is black, short, and a bit messy but in a cute way.
In terms of attire, he has baggy dark green pants, a brown shirt, black suspenders, and grey flannel overshirt. He also has two brown gloves with two half blue orbs at the back of them which glow and hum with life. He doesn’t have any sort of hero attire and does most his fighting in this attire. Lastly, he has a newsboy cap which he never seems to take off.


For whatever reason, not by design, but rather by some other force…Tamper is a very shy person. He knows he has skill and great ability, but he still acts timidly, just wanting to do his best and help. He’s does not scare from combat, but rather just intense social situations. It’s strange that he has personality at all, seeming to have free will and a good nature to boot.


Tamper was built after Lyra’s failed saving of a crowd of people who got seriously injured. Pummel was engaged and couldn’t act quick enough to take the brunt of an attack. Tamper was meant to keep people safe, both his allies and civilians and with that carries an intense want to do so. He’s not rebellious like Pummel, but still has left the workshop a few times, but more so on exploratory jobs. He has left many times to take photographs and has actually created an impressive album. He’s not as famous or “fan favorite” as Pummel but as gotten some attention, which is much to his dismay.


Refactor Shield: Tamper’s glove can emit a powerful shield which can absorb energy, magical, and physical attacks. The shield covers a good six by three feet (six tall, three wide). The shield can then, after a few seconds of processing can fire off an attack of the same type (energy, magical, physical) to a target in a small blast.

Bubble Shield: Instead of using the refactor to create a singular directional shield Tamper can create a large bubble shield which can block the same brand of attacks, but in a large fifteen foot bubble (at its max, it can cover a smaller area for smaller energy cost).

High Durability: Tamper’s body, like all of the other mechanized champions is made of a highly durable metal, stronger than steel. He is able to take heavy blows, bullet fire, heat, cold, water, and mediumly powerfully explosive attacks. He’s not completely immune to any of the above and continual damage will wear him down eventually.



Threshold: The Refactor Shield does have a damage threshold and when its reached the shield will break. Continual attacks against will eventually break it down. Further, Tamper can only throw an attack back if he puts the shield down. (It can take heavy explosive damage, able to resist tank fire).

Bubble Shield: Tamper’s bubble shield does not absorb attacks the same way the refractor does, using the bubble shield does not absorb attacks at all and any damage that it takes cannot be shot back at enemies.

Immovable: When the bubble shield is down, Tamper cannot physically move himself and needs to remain still, or else the shield is dropped (others can try and move him and the shield won’t be displaced, only he cannot move).

Directional: Tamper’s refactor shield can only block a single direction. He himself can move around, but if people are quick enough and get behind him or to his side they can definitely land an attack on him.

Weak Points: The joints of Tamper would be considered his weak points and while it may not damage his overall ability to operate, attacks focused there would limit movement and prevent/slow attacks. Acid, while his metal is slightly resistant to it, will eventually eat through and damage his internal circuitry.

Lyra’s Command: While he does seem to have a free will, he must do as Lyra commands. If Lyra says stop, even if he wants to keep blocking something, he will have to stop.

Charged: Tamper, like all the other mechanized champions, has a battery life. If that runs out he is forced to “go to sleep” during which he will not be able to act. He cannot surpass these limits no matter what until he is recharged. Using his shields eats up more energy than his normal functionality.
