A spaceship crashing into New York? what's new.

Picture the scene.
A large spaceship crashes into central park.
Naturally, human military and probably some heroes or villains have surrounded it, expecting the worst - an invasion perhaps.
But out staggers Dax'thur. An alien with no intentions of destroying the earth.
He'll obviously need some help getting organised, orientated and y'know, not interogated, tortured and vivisected by the government.
Who will help him? Or try to capture him?

Basically I want a thread picking up where his history left off to introduce Dax'thur and get him established as a character.
